So far works great on a 2017 Teryx 4
So far works great on a 2017 Teryx 4. I put them in a factory speaker location and 2 on the back roll cage. There isn't any base to these speakers but all I listen to is country so it's not that important to me. The speakers are clear and VERY LOUD I can go 45+ on the road and still here them very clear; 2 speakers would have actually been enough. One note when installing, the speakers come with the harness connection on them so they must be cut off in order to add speaker wire or a new mount to the cage; which you will need both if installing on a SxS. Pretty simple to install, took about 3-4 hrs but I worked slow at it.

4k miles and still blaring!
SEE UPDATE BELOW: I now see why a lot of people say they put every thing in a window or fork tool bag. The power wire (8 ft.) and volume control (5 ft.) is plenty long but the wire harness (3ft. maybe) is ALMOST not long enough! I ride an '08 VTX1800N. I put the amp in the tool kit/owners manual box under left side cover, put in an in-line fuse and toggle switch. The wire harness barely reaches the rear of the tank. You will have to buy handle bar mounts if you want the speakers on the bars. For a mirror mount on my VTX the speaker brackets do fit over the brake reservoir, but not the clutch. The quality of the speakers so far is impressive. I have played every thing from Skynyrd to Pantera to Louie Armstrong to Randy Travis. The quality of the out-put is much more dependent on the in-put quality than anything else. I read the reviews that said it only worked for a day or not at all, Well, I ride 25 min. each way, every day to work. 70% of my ride to work is highway. I have factory exhaust and a windshield and it is defiantly loud enough. As much as I like it loud, I usually turn it down a notch in town. At 70 mph I can hear it just fine. There are not numbers on the volume control, but if off is zero and ten is up all the way( with good quality music ) you only need it at 3 on the highway. I have been careful to not max out the speakers, but they have been tested a time or two, some good songs start at full blast. Yet, no reduction in sound quality of crackling. The speaker housings are plastic chrome and yes it does scratch/haze easily. The reason I didn't give a 5 star is...I just don't know how long they are going to last. I've only had these installed a week. That's why I say "so far, so good". If loosing $54 will send you into bankruptcy...you should probably sell you bike...I figured is was worth the risk, so far, very glad I took it! I will up date this if they die on me...200 miles and counting...Remember, while riding lead, Don't spit!-~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~Update~~~its been 6 mo. and I now have almost 5k mi. on these speakers, they're still rockin'. We've been through some rain, temp of 10°f to 106°f. HEAVY music @ full volume these will cut out (to protect the speakers). Turn the volume down a little and it stops cutting out. Volume is plenty loud. I still use these every time I ride. Very, very, very happy with these!!! Additional update 40k miles, and 4yrs. Later...STILL BLASTING. Working and rocking down the highway. DAILEY USE! Cause I'm a daily rider.

I mounted all 4 speakers on my engine guard... No need to add an on/off switch to this system. Wired to factory switch.
I've had my speakers installed for about 300 miles or so and I am very impressed with the sound! I mounted all 4 speakers on my engine guard just didn't want anything on my handle bars for looks purposes and I personally think it looks great. I ride with a full face helmet and riding at speeds of about 75mph I can hear the music but just barely but riding thur town ohh it turns heads. I did read lots of reviews and did see people talking about it don't have a an on/off switch. Well you don't need one. The way I wired mine I got a digital voltmeter and found me a light wire that cuts power on when I put the switch in accessory or ignition so the amp will only cut on if that switch is turned and that has been working out great for me. Now for the installation there are no instructions! The paper it comes with just shows you the wiring diagram, these are your speakers wires here and this is your positive and negative and this is your volume control and that's pretty much your "instructions". I mounted my volume know on my left hand side controls I just made me a little bracket painted it black removed the bottom screw put the bracket and placed the screw back on. Now where I had a bit of trouble is getting the clamps to close on the engine guard I needed a pair of vise grips to close the clamp and install the screw and nut in. I also used a foam to put between the clamps and the engine guard. Now one thing I wish BOSS AUDIO would have done is also have switch or buttons to go with the volume know to be able to change the track and pause and play the music, you have to do that by your phone or whatever device you are using for music. I did send BOSS AUDIO an email about that but have got no reply. But over all I recommend this to anyone. Good bang for the buck. I've added a good amount of pictures of my set up for you all to see.

AMAZING!!!
I installed this on my 14 Fatboy lo, plasti dipped the speakers black to match the bike, look great now but chrome wasn't that bad looking either. I put a fork bag on my bike to fit the amp and extra wire's in, wire's wasn't long enough to put in my saddle bags, this actually worked out much easier seeing I didn't have to run any wire's under the gas tank. I only had to run the negative & positive under my console to under my seat and connect the position to the ignition source brake light circuit then the negative to a bolt on the frame. I used 2 zip ties for the volume knob mounted it on my handlebar, everything looks clean and professional. Comes with everything I needed to set up this speaker system up and the Bluetooth works really well too! I can't stress enough how great these speakers sound!! I have a loud exhaust and with the volume all the way up I can't even hear the exhaust haha nice crisp and clear! If you're on the fence about buying it trust me, I did extensive research and comparing and boy am I a very happy buyer!!!! Go get it and enjoy!

Negative wire to the battery positive wire to your headlights no need for a toggle switch
I've had these for a while now and I've bought them for other bikes very loud a lot of the people that give this one star or people that don't know how to hook them up run your negative to your battery your positive to your headlights find a wire split it and tie it into it when you cut your bike on they cut on the loud beep only does that if you had the volume turned up Extremely Loud to keep them turned down when you park your bike what you should do anyways if you buy the warranty for them and they do mess up they will simply tell you to destroy them send a picture of them destroyed and they'll send you a new pair you don't have to send them back or do anything crazy that some people have said I know this for a fact the really good speakers

Best Buy ever
I was skeptical about this product. A lot of reviews that got back to me said it wouldn't have enough wire that I couldn't hear when I road my bike. I have a roadking with fish tail pipes with no baffles and I can still hear my stereo on my crash bars on the road. Love this stereo

Awesome
Super loud even at 80. Took the advice of a revuewer and put the amp in a fork bag. Worked great!. Bluetooth pics up almost instantly. Overall great product. I put 2 on the handle bar and 2 on the crash bars. My wife says she hears it loud and clear riding on the back.

Fantastic sound!!!
These 5 speakers are WELL worth the money!! We put these on my 2015 Softail Deluxe and they are amazing! Obviously not as good as my husband's Ultra Limited sound system - but impressive nonetheless. I put 2 speakers on my handlebars and 2 in between the windshield and the fork. Don't believe there is no bass like some other reviewers have said - you just have to adjust your music source's equalizer. I bluetooth'd my galaxy 5 and purchased a remote for it so I can change volume and songs without having to access my phone screen. I couldn't be more pleased with this system!!!!!

Amazing Product!!
I was a little skeptical because of the negative reviews I read. However, after installing the speakers and taking it out for a test run on the freeway, I'm more than happy with this product. I can hear it just fine up to 80mph. I think the people saying you can't hear it just have hearing problems. I have no windshield and I'm running Vance & Hines Side Shot pipes with Screamin Eagle intake. My bike is very loud. These speakers stand up to all of that just fine. There isn't any bass, but I don't really care for it anyways since country music is the only thing coming through these speakers. I originally mounted the two on the outside to my turn signals, but that made them pretty much useless because they were so low. So, I moved them up top next to the other two, and it sounds great. The one thing I did not like about this system is that there was no on/off switch on the amplifier. I just went to Autozone and got a toggle switch, split the wires and made my own on/off switch. I didn't bother mounting the amp. I just stuck it in the leather bag that you see in the pictures. With this setup, I've been through the rain several times already with no issues. The bluetooth connects every time, as soon as I flip the toggle switch to "on". This bike is a 2008 Dyna Street Bob. Everything stock except for the pipes and intake.
