I needed a doorbell for my shop and house to know if a customer was here and I didn't notice. I was able to place the button at my shop and purchased a separate button for the door on my house that was a different color to match the door hardware. Each button has a different tone so I know which door someone is at. I was also able to place the receiver in a more central area so I could hear it from anywhere in the house.

Great product. I used it on a Busy Board I made for my niece and she loves it, the button it easy to push and has a great sound. I got the one with only two bell sounds and it was a perfect fit.

A good value.

So far, I'm very happy with this doorbell. I read all the reviews, and decided it was worth a try. Didn't need an entire playlist of chimes, so the ordinary ding-dong was a perfectly satisfactory choice. Transmitter installation was easy, and I placed the receiver on a bookshelf in my central hallway. I don't hear well and was a little doubtful about the volume at first, but it turned out to be plenty loud enough for me to hear when I'm anyplace in my little house -- and the basement, too, actually.

I didn't require anything fancy, so for the price this fits my needs perfectly.

I have a long apartment, so I was not able to hear a knocking when I was at the other end of the apartment. I placed it in the middle of my home and now I can tell when someone is at the door. I didn't require anything fancy, so for the price this fits my needs perfectly. It was really easy to install with excellent instructions. I have the button outside with no cover and so far it has been fine in snow and heavy rain. I have only had it 2 months, so we'll see how it wears over time, but for now I highly recommend.

We love our doorbell we were always missing friends coming over because we were upstairs and you couldn't hear a knock at the door so this allows us to to know someone is at the door.

It's a doorbell

Pros: Loud, the button sticks like a CHAMPION - we have it mounted on porous brick, exposed to rain, snow, wind, ect. and seems to be holding strong. Cons: Only two options of rings, and the better of the two... rings Twice autiomtically "deee doooo...... deee doooo" even if the button is only pressed once. Not a big deal but kind of weird.

Functional, easy to install

Technically, I'd give it just 4 stars, but given the performance-to-price, it's a 5 star product. Quite small, "loud enough" (I would have liked louder, but I'm not that hard of hearing--yet), easy to install. The doorbell chime sound(s) are acceptable. The transmitter button installs pretty easily with double-stick tape (it's a bit bigger than I expected, but it fit in the space I have for it). I like that the transmitter uses a lithium coin cell rather than the mini-12V alkaline. The receiver/electronic chime is a bit smaller than I expected, but again, is easy to mount. We'll see how durable the transmitter is for being outdoors and exposed to the afternoon sun...

Easy to set up, no "wiring" necessary!

Nice and loud, and easy to set up. I'm a woman living alone on a low income. Couldn't afford an electrician, and my 1936 cabin, wouldn't be easy to retrofit anyway, so I was happy to find this door bell that I could put up myself! Yay! It works great!

Wireless and easy to install

Works great. Cheap solution for a house without doorbell wiring.

I bought a house that had an older version of this GE wireless doorbell installed. I just wanted to purchase a new battery for it (the older version used a weird specialty battery) but found a whole new unit was just $1 more than the battery so opted for this product. Installed easily and works like a charm. (this version uses regular batteries that you can pickup anywhere).
