This ball pit was a hit at little kids birthday party

I ordered this for a 1 year olds birthday party, because how else do you entertain young children that can't do crafts? I liked that i got this quickly thru prime, and i did lots of research on ball pits and it seemed like the real issue is having enough balls to fill these little pop up structures. And one of the top reviewers mentioned the balls were coming seperate shipments and i needed these fast so ended up just ordering the tent, and ordering 2 sets of balls of 200 to make a total of 400. Success. The ball pit was a hit, with both lil crawing babies and kids of all sizes. It fit about 4 kids at a time but they were pretty good about being in close proximity. The balls dont stay in with kids. There is just a flap with flimsy velco tab, sooo most of the balls came rolling out. You can just toss them back in the top. And take really cute photos. The structure is decently large and folds down quick, and has stakes for outdoor use we basically just set it up for our kid in the basement. It wont hold up forever and its kinda like a giant pop up hamper but it worked well and is fun. Make sure yiu get at least 400 balls though it could use 600.

I bought this as a birthday present for my son's first birthday. I wanted something I would be able to keep inside for him to play with since colder weather is coming. I have a 4 year old son as well and they have both spent a LOT of time in the tent. OUR USE: We are currently using it as a ball pit. We put 100 ball pit balls plus about 5 other balls (approx 10") and that is plenty. The door is approx. 4 inches off the ground. That is high enough to mostly keep the balls in but also low enough that my 1 year old can easily crawl in and out. Both boys can get in with plenty of room to play. We even set it up at his party and had a 5 year old, 4 year old and 3 year old all in it at the same time with no trouble. Due to the door, the balls do come out when they start playing rough. It's not really a big deal though. It's no difference in picking up the balls and tossing them into the pit than picking up any of the other toys they have. DURABILITY: I read a lot of reviews about poor stitching, low quality fabric and the tent ripping on the first use. I figured for the price, I would give it a chance. I looked it over and it seems to be good quality for the price. I'm not saying we will still have this thing 5 years from now but for under $20, it's pretty nice. We really put it to the test as soon as we opened it with the 5,4, and 3 year old boys and it hasn't caught much of a break once we brought it home. It has been knocked down, crawled all over, twisted into many positions and it still pops right back to the right shape when I straighten it out. I have not seen any pulling of the stitches or any wires trying to poke through. COLLAPSING A big concern in other reviews was that it was constantly collapsing on the kids. This is a very lightweight tent. It does not randomly collapse or anything but it does get knocked over a lot. The amount of collapsing I see though is very reasonable for how rough they are playing. It will stay up forever as long as they are sitting in the pit playing with the balls. When they start leaning on the sides, crawling out the top, pushing against the sides, wrestling in the tent, etc., it obviously does not stand up perfectly. This is not a solid structure so I'm not sure why it would be expected to hold up to that. I am quite pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it. It is great quality for the price. It is lightweight and portable so would be great for travel.

Exceeded Our Expectations!!

Large enough for 2 toddlers and our 100lb dog who wanted nothing more than to get in on all the fun. And yes, there was still plenty of room to move about. Great fun for the kiddos, and when they are done (or I need my livingroom back) it collapses into a round carrying case that fits perfectly on a bookshelf. Great value too!!

great for playtime

great for playtime. wont hold up to rough housing but I don't think it was made for that. my 1yr and 3yr old love it. added extra Velcro tabs to secure the door flap better.

Great gift

We bought it for our 2 year old for Christmas. Here it is may and even though she's climbed all over the sides, had stuff sitting on it collapsing it in for awhile, it's not bent, still holding its shape doing the job. Highly recommend. Also my fiance and I both could fit in it with her. ( I'm not the smallest person)

This is the greatest purchase! My kids love it, and it folds down and can be tucked away within two minutes! I love it, would buy it again in a heartbeat, and would strongly recommend it to any of my mom friends!

big enough for plenty of fun... stored in a very small carrying bag

This ball play tent pops up effortlessly and is remarkably easy to fold back down. It's amazing how small it is when it's in its storage bag. It could easily be shoved into a diaper bag to take to a friends house. This is a perfect solution for someone who lives in an apartment or small house, but wants something "big" their little one can play in. We keep ours stored in a basket (the balls are the only thing that take up any space to store) and only set it up once in a while when friends come over or for a special play activity, since our house is too small to leave it set up all of the time. We love it!

A great pop up tent!!!

Fantastic! Excellent product! Very durable, well constructed, super great toy that the family will get years of fun out of! There's plenty of room for a child and grown up to play in here or even two children and an adult. Bought it as a ball pit for granddaughters 1st birthday. I bought 200 balls. Here's a tip - buy 300-400!
