Terrific little "campfire to go"
We purchased this firebowl just before our camping trip and are so happy we did. It's very well built and the lid makes it a breeze to transport and stow away with no mess. We are long time devotees of the "campfire" experience, and I was honestly a little sceptical of a gas fire, but I have to admit that the convenience alone was huge. While we did still buy wood for "real fires" a few times, at $4 - 7 per bundle, it's easy burn through $30 or more in an evening. As much as we ended up using this unit, it probably paid for itself on that first trip. One bottle of propane lasted for the whole 10 day trip. It was also very nice to get up on a chilly morning and with a twist of the knob have a nice little fire with the morning coffee. Works just as well for those impromptu evenings on the patio. Highly recommend.

Very thorough directions. Comes with two sizes of fire stones - AND EXTRAS. The gas tube is a ring, which distributes the flame nicely. Take the time to spray soapy water on all joints to check for any dangerous leaks. (No leaks were found.) Some have had trouble with auto ignition. Turning the dial slowly gives the gas a moment to flow before the igniter functions - and mine has worked reliably. I like the portability that the included strap offers. I was surprised to learn it is NOT intended to be left out, exposed to the weather - hence the carrying strap. I use a tiny 5 lb propane tank which makes it very portable. I expect to get 3-4 30-minute sessions per refill for lounging by the pond in the Spring and Fall. Curious to see if the Koi are attracted to the flames.

Excellent choice for outdoor fun
This was a gift for one of my sons. He enjoys it very much, and reports that it puts out plenty of heat. Several of his buds have put in gift requests for one on their next list. A downside is that it requires an adapter to use a small propane bottle, but that's the only issue. It arrived in excellent packaging, and condition. Other reviews criticized packaging, but I didn't find that an issue. This is an attractive firepit and is a good choice for outdoor fun. I recommend this product to friends and may purchase one for myself.

Outstanding Addition to Our RV! Fantastic Product!
Used the Outland Firebowl Premium for the first time this weekend and absolutely loved it! The construction quality is excellent and the firebowl is very easy to set up and use. It was nice to be able to place our camp-fire where we wanted it as opposed to where the campsite fire ring was located. Very pleased with the purchase - construction and operation are first class! Six stars! Thank you!

So glad I purchased this!
This pit is awesome! We bought a grate and griddle to put on top, then used pans for eggs, Hashbrowns, bacon, etc. It was warm for the cold mornings, and we used it for roasting. We were the only ones with a fire in the entire campsite (because of a burn ban), I guess not too many have caught on to this idea yet. This particular pit is well constructed, comes with plenty of rocks, plus a lid and strap for transport. It costs about $30 more than other pits, but it was well worth it for the added bonuses (others don't come with lids and straps, and they had lower quality construction). We can also use this in our backyard during fire season. I will definitely be recommending this to anyone /everyone who enjoys camping!

Works great!
We used this on a backcountry trip a few weeks ago where the camp fire restrictions were in place and it worked really well. Our first stop was at Trinity Lake, which was over 7,000 feet. With the flame on high, at that altitude, "high" wasn't all that high, but we were able to roast s'mores over it just the same. The next night, at Anderson Reservoir (closer to 3,000 feet), putting the flame at medium it was more than sufficient. I would highly recommend some sort of carry bag for it. Either the one they sell as an option, or a 33 gallon plastic garbage bag. The fake rocks it comes with rub together during transit making dust particals and we didn't want that stuff in our inclosed truck bed. We used a garbage bag, but it tore to shreds on our trip, so we'll probably get the carry bag. The straps work well and are very stiff, which can make it difficult to attach but I'd rather deal with that and make sure the lid doesn't come off while it's being carried around. It started easy as well. I would recommend this fire pit for backcountry camping for sure.

Instant fire!
We bought this for safety reasons as we were camping all this summer and no open wood fires were allowed. I wasn’t real thrilled because I love wood campfires but now I wouldn’t use anything else! It has various heights for the flame, a lid so you can turn it off and you are done! No more making sure the fire is completely out. I bought the cover for the propane tank and it doubles as a little side table- perfect to hold your glass of wine. I absolutely love this fire pit and would highly recommend

The 19-inch fire bowl is good
This 19-inch fire bowl is good. The igniting and adjustment procedure is the best. The stainless steel burner is a good thing - no rusting. Good high flame. I previously rated it 3 star. I've changed my mind. It's a five star unit.

Great product. We're currently snowbirds in an RV park where we use the fire bowl all the time. So far every RVer who saw the fire bowl in operation has purchased one. We are all so glad we don't have to lug any firewood around, and the fire bowl turns on and off with just one click.
