Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new ottoman!

Was skeptical at first with some of the reviews but let me help some people out when they're trying to make a decision on whether to purchase this or not. Pros: -The top has a really nice look with the buttons -The color (dark brown) looks really good with darker furniture -You can definitely feel a solid weight to it -It's just big enough to add some storage, but not big enough where it takes up too much space Cons: -The smell when you first open it. Some people had said to let it air out, which I didn't do and by the next day I didn't smell a thing. But bottom line, that's to be expected sometimes when you buy new furniture. -The wall support. This is definitely a key factor that I would like to point out. In the title of this product it says it's a stool/bench. However I would not recommend sitting on this, it may be OK for a little while (I haven't had a problem) but I can definitely see constant weight on the top causing a problem over time. Bottom line: This is great for storage, great price, and a great foot rest. Overall I would recommend this for someone who is looking for an ottoman.

Love it !!! The perfect addition to our motorhome. Most RVs don't have a place to put your feet up and relax. Now we do. I placed a tray on it and now we have a place to put drinks while watching TV. The ottoman has a huge amount of storage too. This ottoman makes the RV feel like home. It ships flat and can be folded down and put away when traveling. Well constructed too.

Meets all my needs. Storage, foot stool, and coffee table.

Just received this for an RV. Yes it does have an odor but nothing that can't be aired out with time. It's much better constructed than I expected for the price. No assembly really. We can store board games and misc stuff in it, and it's a great foot stool. The lid flips over for drinks and what not. Happy with this so far.

Brown rectangle ottoman

I have to admit I like this a lot more than I thought I would. It came in a small 2" thin kitchen rectangle box. It was wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap. We bought ours for our RV. We don't have recliners and we wanted to be able to put our feet up. We chose the dark brown and it matched out interior perfectly. It is very sturdy. When we opened it for assembly the inside smells pretty strong. Hopefully that will dissipate. I can store a case of water and the pillows that go on the couch. It will slide under our dinette. I am extremely pleased with it. The only downfall is after sitting with our feet on it for an extended period of time, there is a divet that doesn't want to go away. I also use a tray on mine so cups have a sturdy place to sit.

Exactly like the pictures! Great product! I can sit on it not worry about it falling and when it comes in the mail it comes in a flat box which is confusing but once you open it, it just unfolds and bam there is your ottoman. It also is all wood inside for the frame and comes with a floor insert to keep it from falling or folding back in place. Details are perfect

It sounds too good to be true but it IS AWESOME!

It is 15" tall 15" back to front 29.5" long. Padded lightly with 6 buttons on top which is removable for an amazing amount of storage. It is light weight but holds a lot of weight as long as you do not plunk down or jump on it. Folds flat about. 2" thick for putting it away if needed and pops back up in under 3 minutes again. I am getting the 15" square as well to move about this one is going to stay put. Beware if similar obes that are not as nice be sure to get this brand...Songmics.... Does have a fairly strong wood with a little glue smell but mostly wood and was gone in 24 hours unless you opened it up then smelled it a bit but not bad...if you are sensitive to smells(i am) just let it air in another room or in a porch. It is worth every penny. Great for tight spaces because the amount of space it occupies is helped by equal amount of storage inside. The satin non shiny vinyl like surface may not hold up to little ones not sure it might....I love the semi sweet chocolate color. I can think of so many ideas different people would come up for uses. Functional Unit Works as Promised--Easy Setup

My wife needed something to keep her leg up off the floor for medical reasons. She needed the support to go up the leg and past the knee, so we opted for the Songmics storage ottoman. Within a minute after pulling it out of the flat box it comes in I had the ottoman set up and she was able to use it. One simply has to bend the short sides outward to form a rectangle and then insert the fiber board piece which serves as the floor of the storage space (there is a webbing attached to the four walls of the storage area to hold the fiber board in place). We plan to use it to store a winter blanket or two, something light so that the ottoman can be easily moved when necessary. We also chose this unit over others because the faux leather can be cleaned more easily than the fabric on some of the other ottomans we looked at.

Surprisingly sturdy

This thing is surprisingly sturdy; we love it. I was concerned that maybe it would look cheap, or not be sturdy enough, or not be able to hold up to my four kids ages 6 and under, but it's been great! It looks nice, fits a ton inside of it, and we can sit on top of it with no problem, which was important to me, since my kids climb over everything. The padding on the top is comfortable to prop up your feet, but also sturdy enough that I can place a drink on it if I need to without fear it'll topple over (unless my kids are near!) I have absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend it.
