Great Product!

I needed something to protect the carpet in our rental under the high chair and opted for this Nuby floor mat due to its circular and clear design. It doesn't stand out, which I like, and has worked well under the chair on top of carpet. It is heavy duty, as well, and can see it lasting a long time. I also use the floor mat when we have sensory play- It makes clean up a breeze! I would definitely recommend this floor mat. I will be purchasing again for under our art easel to help protect the floors, too!

Great mat! Just what I was looking for!

I have white carpet in my dining room, so I was looking for something to keep my carpet white with a toddler around. This mat is clear plastic (so the dining room still looks like adults eat there). The material is thick and catches everything from food to liquids. It is a great size, I even folded the edges in a little until I move my table out more due to its good circumference. Definitely recommend.

Exactly what I expected

So- disregard any negative reviews. What we received was exactly what we expected. It’s a relatively thick clear plastic (like a shower curtain liner) and the exact size mentioned in product specs. It’s relatively easy to wipe up- but hard to clean to a shine by just wiping. We deal with a bit of streaking & toss in the wash every few days or so. It beats having to clean the floors every day. A good value.

Good protection against drops and spills

This works great for preventing messes. We put it under the little table and chair we have in our living room, where our 2 year old son will sometimes eat and also colors and does crafts. It prevents spills on the carpet and is easy to wipe clean and covers a large enough area to protect against accidental drops. It doesn't protect against food that is thrown, but honestly we'd need to cover our entire living room in plastic to protect against that. The plastic is thick and there is no worries about it tearing, even with a heavy wooden chair on top of it.

Worth it

I mean, it felt a little ridiculous to pay for what's essentially a tarp BUT it does make a big difference in the ease of our post-dinner cleanup. We fold it like a big taco, shake it out into the trash, and then rinse it with our kitchen sink sprayer and drape it over kiddo's high chair to dry. It catches most of the solid food that misses her mouth (... or purposefully gets dropped over the side) and, more importantly, all of the milk dribbles and drips that are inevitably part of toddlerhood.

This surely does it's job! For the portion that it covers, it protects that part very well!

We opened up our package, and pulled it out and started using it right away. It didn't have the offensive smell that you see some people have posted about here, so don't let those posts sway you....It does a great job as nothing really will penetrate it....HOWEVER, I wish that I would have purchased one twice as large because once your little one starts learning they can throw items, they can easily throw the food/drink past the plastic barrier and onto the floor/carpet/wall. I might need to look for one twice as large.

Simple & Straightforward

I like this product! It's simple & straightforward. It's a lifesaver for Baby Led Weaning since it helps keep the floors clean. The width of my high chair legs are similar to the photo shown and so far all the accidentally dropped food has landed within the range of the mat.

Perfect under my chair

I do hair at home, and this is great to use under my chair, to protect my floor and also to collect clients hair. It's easy to clean and super durable, even with the scooting around of my chair. I know it's meant to be a playmat, but it definitely works to help protect your floor from your cosmetology chair.

We use these every day. Some genius architect and designer decided to put carpeting down in our dining room area... well, that's not so good when you have small children. Get this and don't be like "those" parents

You know "those" parents? The ones that go out to a restaurant and let their kid throw a bunch of crap on the floor and then leave without cleaning it up. Yep, well I'm not one of them. You don't have to be either. This makes it so easy to keep the floor clean without having to get on all fours and pick up all the little bits my little girl tossed down there. We got so many compliments from waitress and other guests on this little mat. It's big, we fold it in half and it still catches everything. So much easier and I swear we get better service because of this little gem. It was really cheap too!
