Well designed, with proper U.S. safety Certification
Nice combo AA/AAA/USB. The wall plug folds up when not in use--easier to store. VERY IMPORTANT: This unit has the proper safety certification (ETL) for the U.S. & Canada. I believe this separates it from most chargers. Poorly designed chargers may cause a fire or explosiion. The ETL mark indicates this unit was tested to ensure a faulty component or battery won't result in fire or other calamity. Good job Amazon!

Easy and works
Basically I was sick of spending money on all the throw out batteries. I have an old charger and some old rechargeable AAA and AA batteries but those take a really long time to recharge. I finally decided to get this amazon battery charger and a few amazon basics rechargeable AA and AAA's. I am very happy I did. This charger does the job really quickly. Just a few hours compared to my old one that took most of the day. This charger is very easy to use. It has lights that are Red when charging and then turn Green when fully charged. You do have to charge the batteries in pairs. You can't just put 1 to charge. You can't put 1 A with 1 AAA either. 2 AA with 2 AAA or just 2 of same or 4 of same. As long as they are in pairs. A bit of an inconvenience but it is OK for my use. I just keep a little container labeled "To charge". Then I just wait till I have 4 and charge them that way. Easier for me to do like that. When I first used the charger I didn't push the AAA batteries far in enough. I heard a click so I stopped. Turns out you have to push till they sit farther back. This does also have a USB charging port on the side. It is a slow charger though at only 500mA so I probably will not be using it much. You can't use that port while you are charging batteries at the same time. So far the charger works like it should and I am very happy with it. Simple and quick and is saving me lots of money on batteries.

Works as advertised!
This battery charger works great. My wife has a lighted mirror that she uses to supplement her vanity, but the bright LEDs drain AA batteries like no other. Now, once the mirror starts to get dim, I can just pop all four of the batteries in overnight and they're ready to go in the morning. The batteries are easy to insert and remove, and the lights indicating whether the batteries are charging or fully charged are easy to see all the way across the room. I've been using them with Energizer rechargeable AA batteries, so you also don't have to worry about using the Amazon basics batteries.

AWESOME CHARGER!!
Why waste money on disposable batteries?? This is a very high quality item and super sleek design. It can charge both AA and AAA batteries plus a USB port on the side!

Top-notch quality charger from Amazon (of course!)
Very slick looking, solid and well built. It has the usual indicator lights telling you if the batteries are charged or not, as well as a USB jack which is a really nice touch. The only thing I noticed is that if I run my Amazon batteries all the way down to zero (like you drain them completely), the charger thinks they're bad and won't charge them. If that happens plug/unplug the charger several times with the batteries in it and eventually it will start charging them. (At first I thought I had bad batteries).

Charges in record time.
Although, the product description says you will be at full capacity in 4 hours, I have noticed that batteries are full within one. Color me super jazzed! I owned the Energizer Rapid Charger (15 minutes or less) for over a decade, and I was bummed when it kicked the bucket Since I could not find the same product through them, I chose Amazon's because its reviews were better than most. So far, I am not disappointed with that decision.

Nice charger for AA and AAA batteries
This is a nice charger for AA & AAA batteries. It has a USB charger port (which I've never even noticed or used) but could be useful. There is no remote control but I'm assuming it means that the charger shuts itself off once it decides the batteries are charged. There is also a small led light that glows red when the batteries are charging, turns green when they are ready and then turns off after another hour or so. This feature prevents the batteries from continuing to charge once they are back to normal voltage (which prevents them from overheating and prolongs their life). Light and compact. Happy with my purchase.

It will charge your batteries!
This thing is awesome. I only use it for charging batteries that are used in a gamepad for my PC (Xbox One gamepad). I've recharged the same 4 batteries so many times already it's paid for itself. Build quality is fine, batteries charge pretty quick and last A LONG time. I swear I'm getting at least 30 hours per full charge and it probably takes ~45 mins to recharge. I'm also using Amazon brand rechargeable batteries, by the way. If you are going through batteries, do yourself a favor and pick one of these up in whatever size/quantity you need and get some rechargeables to go with it. Before buying, I did my research and the report said Amazon and Kirkland were basically tied for the #1 spot with Duracell and Energizer not far behind when it came to battery life and shelf life. This goes for regular and rechargeable. Kirkland = Amazon>>Duracell>Energizer ((That's how I understood it))

Recommended, but one flaw
I haven't noticed any major problems with it. Charges any AA or AAA rechargables. The one little thing is that it doesn't charge if there's only one battery on the side, there has to be a pair. I'm not sure if it actually does charge, just doesn't indicate, but the light at the bottom doesn't turn red(to indicate charging) when there is only one battery placed, and if there are two that aren't right next to each other, its the same thing. But I guess its similar to ram if you know your computers. You just have to place it right. Opposite way of placing ram actually in this case, so maybe that's not the best example. Regardless of that one minor thing, I haven't had problems with it after maybe a month or so of constant use.

VERY cool little charger
VERY cool little charger. Just note that the USB charger has first priority, batteries will not charge until the USB charger completes a charge on whatever is plugged into it, it will not charge USB and batteries at the same time.
