Got this during Prime Day. $2 off. Satisfied with the purchase. Exactly as pictured. Seems to be of good quality. My 15 month old have been banging on these and throwing them everywhere because of the noise they make when they hit the floor. They have so far survived all that fun activity. Pot and pan also fit the stove of Kidcraft Uptown Espresso Kitchen, so that's a bonus. Recommended product.

wonderful quality

I purchased this Hape cooking set for my 18-month-old daughter. I was initially torn between buying the Messlia and Doug kitchen set or this one, but decided to purchase the Hape set, because it had fewer pots and pans and more wooden utensils. I am very happy with my purchase as it comes with the perfect amount of kitchen accessories for a toddler who can easily be overwhelmed and overstimulated. I love Melissa and Doug but in this case, Hape was the way to go!

Perfect for the little chef!

Everything is just the right size to go with his Melissa and Doug kitchen. The noise the silver pots make add to the genuine cooking experience and make fun instruments ;) We use the rolling pin when we play play dough!

Great lil stainless steel set!

Great lil set. Perfect started pan combination. Daughter loves playing with this almost daily. Strong, durable and safe- so much better than plastic!

Great toy

My 13 month old loves to play with this in the kirchen when I’m cooking. Keeps her busy while I finish dinner. Love that there is no platic and it’s nom-toxic.

sturdy and made from teething-safe woods

A Hape set that uses stainless steel, beech wood, and some maple/birch variant. Well made, sturdy, and the pans make a great clanging when thrown on the floor by an excited one year old. Great first cooking set!

My daughter is one and a half years old and is always watching my husband cook. She is constantly getting into our cupboards and playing with the pots, pans, and cooking utensils. The Hape set looks true to life and she loves it! No more playing with the adult toys for her!

My son absolutely loves to pull out pots and pans in the kitchen and just go to town banging on them and throwing them around. He pretty much always has. These are perfect for keeping a restless toddler happy and away from Momma's good pots. He loves to use the whisk and stir the pot. He's 16 months and it is honestly the perfect size for now and he'll still be able to play with it in the future. Plus, it's so super cute how adorable and little everything is!

Perfect for my one year old.

Perfect for my 1 year old! I kept giving her my kitchen utensils and then saw this and it is perfect! Good quality and reasonable price. I suspect she will continue playing with this as she grows.

High Quality

I ordered this set for my one year old daughter, who loves to play with real kitchen pots, pans, and wooden spoons for entertainment while I’m cooking dinner. She had previously shown little interest in her sisters’ toy kitchen sets, which were not very realistic. As soon as I opened this set, my 8 year olds showed renewed and intense excitement that they now had kitchen toys that were in their words “more real”. They played with them for hours, while our littlest one banged away happily. I highly recommend this set for anyone looking for a realistic quality, or who follows the Waldorf or Montessori guidelines for raising children. I was excited about the cardboard box that they were packaged in, as I find other realistic toy companies to be heavy on the plastic. I was disappointed, however, in the amount of unnecessary plastic on the inside of the box, wrapping each individual item. I had originally docked a star for this unnecessary waste, but decided against it due to the incredible quality of the actual toys themselves. My husband even commented that our children now have a sturdier whisk than we do. 1/5/19 Update: We just purchased another set of these as a gift, and they were well received. We have also had several friends get the info to order sheets as well, being so impressed with the quality upon seeing them. Holding up extremely well. We now have 9 month old son who bangs on them daily for entertainment.
