New formula but my dog still love it! I have three shintzu's 13 and two who are five they have been raised on Nutro originally there were on Nutro small bites chicken oatmeal and brown rice but since the formulas change they are now on this it took them about today's to get used to the new flavor but now they eat it like it's going out of style so they must like it LOL. I just wish that Amazon had the larger bags in stock that's my only complaint

Healthier skin and coat with Nutro

This food was recommended by my vet and my min pin loves it. Although it costs more than food at the big box stores, it contains no fillers, and therefore requires smaller portions. I find that it lasts longer than other brands in the same size. My dogs coat is shiny and healthy with Nutro and her skin does not flake as it did with other brands. I have been feeding my dog Nutro exclusively for the last 3 years.

My Dog Loves It

You would think that boring old kibble style dog food wouldn't be something that your dog would get excited about. But my dog loves this particular brand of kibble. We mix it with a different type of science diet called Acana. He started to become disinterested with Acana, so we decided to make things more interesting by giving him half Acana and half Nutro. He hasn't shown disinterest since. Funny story: While feeding the dog, my son spilled a couple pieces of Nutro kibble behind a one gallon jug of water. Being a typical, moody 13 year old, he left it there rather than clean it up. A few hours later, my dog was frantically attacking the water jug. I didn't understand why, so I picked up the jug and my dog proceeded to start munching on the two small pieces of kibble that were left there. Keep in mind, we don't starve our dog or anything like that. He just had to get that kibble. Funny story #2: My dog loves veggies. Broccoli is his favorite. He also loves zucchini, cauliflower, carrots, apples, and scrambled eggs. He turns his nose up at fried eggs though.

So glad I decided to give this a try!!

When I clicked 5 stars it said "I love it", but actually, my dogs love it. A friend of mine told me about this food. She said her dogs coats have gotten so much shinier and one of her rescue dogs, when she got it, had a very short, patchy coat. Since that dog has been on it for quite a while, she's noticed a world of difference and I can attest to that. The dog with the patchy coat now has a beautiful full and long coat of hair! I just got this today and wasn't sure how my dogs would react to it, they are quite picky with the food they eat. It really surprised me that they immediately started eating it!!! I mixed it in with the current brand I've been giving them to hopefully coach them into eating it. I didn't have to do that at all! They both sat at the food bowls and began picking out the Nutro pellets and eating them. I have two dachshunds. So, thus far I am so very pleased!!!

Vet reccomended

For 3 years we were feeding our dog a hollistic food from Trader Joes. Recently we took our dog in for routine checkup and some bloodwork. The results came back bad. We were questioned about the type of food we had him on and immediately told we needed to feed him a Science Diet, such as Nutro. After looking at the different varieties we chose this one and bought a small bag a Walmart. The first thing we noticed was how much Chewie loved the food. He ate it almost immediately when we put it in his bowl. The other food we were giving him, would sit unitl we sat down with him and played. It's been about 3 months since we changed his diet and I'm happy to say he's never been healthier. We thought we were doing right by giving him the hollisitic food, but we were actually harming him.

Superior Pet Nutrition, Reasonable Prices

Have fed different Nutro nearly exclusively to 3 Shetland sheepdogs over a 20+ year period. They have always loved it and have been healthy and active. The biggest endorsement: one lived to the happy old age of 17 and her partner in crime, born with a heart defect, lived to 15! Our current Sheltie is 5 Years but acts like she’s going on 6 MONTHS old. Full of energy and enthusiasm. While I know this is part of the breed charaistic, I also know that always feeding very high quality food makes a huge difference in the health and longevity of your companion animals!

My Boston Terrier LOVES this!

My Boston Terrier LOVES this food! I've been feeding her Nutro's food since I got her as a puppy and took her off the food her previous owners had. My vet has complimented my dog's health many times through out the years. This food helps her stay in shape and she consistently weights about 14lbs (she's the runt so she's smaller than most). The small breed adult food is perfect for her since she's got little teeth. She's had the small bites but it seemed more difficult for her to eat. The vet is always impressed she has no tartar and healthy gums for her age. Most importantly, the limited ingredients has really helped her stomach issues and she expels gas much less than other foods. I honestly have no complaints but wish there were more flavors other than chicken for the small breed. To be fair, she's been eating this for years and loves it so I don't know why I'd ruin a great thing!

Our dog loves this!

Our miniature pinscher is 13 years old and has a sensitive stomach. We’ve tried several brands of dry and wet dog food but this has been great for him. We’ve been feeding him this product for over 2 years and he hasn’t had any consistent stomach issues. Beware that just because it’s expensive or a popular brand doesn’t necessarily mean it’s right for your pet! I would absolutely recommend this and we will continue to buy it.

Great dog food

Great food! Seems to have high quality ingredients. The dogs love it (when they aren't being their sassy chihuahua selves and declining to eat....) and the kibble is very tiny! Perfect for my little girl, full grown and only 6lb! I would definitely recommend this brand as it has the same higher quality real ingredients like the even higher priced brands, but a more affordable price tag!

Dog loved it right away

Now that my dog is considered a senior dog I finally decided to change his food from Pedigree to something with better nutrition. I was recommended Nutro from multiple dog owners so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I opened the bag I could tell there was a HUGE difference already, this food actually smelled like food! I transitioned my dog into it by adding a little kibble mixed in with Pedigree and by day 2 he was rejecting his old food and ate only the Nutro kibble. I just recently got my dog's teeth cleaned and his teeth are still looking great and his breath does not smell at all. I've also noticed his coat is shinier and softer as well and he's shedding less as well. Couldn't be any happier!
