I was skeptical about this product because I had purchased the original iRig for my Galaxy S6, which did not work at all for me. I was willing to give this a shot because it is advertised as being compatible with Android. Well it works great. I was able to use it for my guitar and a mic through the included aux input simultaneously. However, not all mics work. I recommend the Tpmall MC-092 sold on Amazon as it works seamlessly. I can vouch that this setup works on my Galaxy S7, but I can't say if it works for other Android devices. The USB quality is a nice upgrade from the external mic input I was previously using. My only complaint is the latency factor, which is significant. However, I understand that this is inherent in the USB technology itself. This interface is definitely worth purchasing if you need a mobile method of recording your musical ideas on the fly.

I gave this one a chance after having trouble with the irig2. Glad I did, this one works flawlessly with all my android devices. I wanted one of these irigs since playing on an iPhone with one. Although the android version of amplitude is not as complete as the iOs version, I find it perfect for practice. I am sure with time amplitude for android will catch up.

Don;t be fooled by the other, cheaper interfaces. This one REALLY works. No latency (delay) of the sound. Simulations are great. You could use this to play live, if you wanted.

It really gives you lot's of different settings and plug ins to do whatever you have in your mind to set your virtual equipment, many GREAT options, brands.... Whatever you wish to play the sound you will get it just how you want it to.... And options to expand are limitless.... I am really happy with the product and IK Multimedia. The IRig comes with the required USB cable and the USB C to Micro USB isn't it!!!!!

IRig works great, I'm using it for practice all the time. DON'T get suckered into buying the USB C to Micro USB that amazon suggested were commonly purchased together like I did.
