As a Texan, jerky is life. Iv had hundreds of kinds of jerky I bet, hands down this is the best exotic jerky iv ever tasted. The kangaroo is real tender and mellow, very good flavor tho. The gator does have the gamy taste with a touch of a salty seasoning, it just mind blowing tho. A definite must if your anything like me and have waisted hundreds of dollars on bags of jerky from gas stations and markets.

So I thought it was going to be four 4oz bags of jerky. It is four 1oz pieces and to me is a bit pricey but seeing as I don't have any distributors of jerky like this, I don't have a lot of room to complain. I will say the jerky was delicious and my wife loved it too. I do give this a 5 star not only for flavor, but I like how the representative (or his assistants) sent me an email thanking me for the purchase. I thought that was great, especially since not only these big companies make sub par jerky, but the customer service to reach out to customers. Like I said, it does cost more than regular jerky but it does taste great.

I usually prefer drier jerky than this but overall I’m impressed and thoroughly enjoyed both flavors. I bought a small amount to test before committing to a large order and was not disappointed. The kangaroo jerky reminded me of being in Australia, had the perfect flavor and was a happy medium between dry and wet. The gator jerky was saltier than I expected (never tried gator jerky before, just gator steak) but still tasted delicious. I’ll 100% be ordering again in larger quantities in the future.

I'll be honest the only reason I got this jerky set is because I had a few bucks left in gift card credit and needed to get my order to $25 to get prime on add-on items. That said, I will likely be getting these again. Excellent taste, nice texture and good looking dry meat (jerky can sometimes look unappetizing, but not this). They are on the high end price wise, but after tasting all of them, they're definitely worth their salt, pun intended =)

Jerky.com nails it on the head! Not bone dry or tasteless, like some big name brands. The Elk was my personal favorite. It’s a well made product as every piece I would get from any of the 4 bags I ordered were similar in texture and consistency for their bag. The kicker, for me, was that it doesn’t have beef as filler like most other “exotic” or out of the ordinary jerkies i’ve found. If you order Buffalo, you get buffalo and no other protein. Just salt and pepper and tastiness :) Jerky.com is the real deal for true jerky deliciousness without all the over processing or disingenuous fillers.

I haven't had jerky since I was a kid (before Kennedy was President) so I tried these for nostalgia. So far, just deer, but it is tasty, moist and fresh - a bit tangy with pepper flavor. At first I thought 'oops'..., but then I got the after taste and I ate the whole piece as an afternoon snack. I want more but am wary of it being too rich. It's good, nothing like the quick pick jerky sticks of yore, and it comes shrink wrapped for freshness. Keep going after you savor that first bite. You won 't regret. Yum!

Bought them for Father's Day. My hubby was really excited to get it. He has tried one so far and said it's really tasty. He gets really nauseous when eating anything greasy and it hasn't happened to him which makes me very happy! They're not greasy and well seasoned so we'll be sticking with these guys for future purchasing. Only problem is my kids keep trying to get a few bites from it and my hubby doesn't want to share.

This review will be broken down in three parts. First will be quality/flavor of meat. Second will be customer service. Third will be portion sizes. 1. The flavor and quality of this jerky is A+ its nice and peppery and just tasty! It isn't over seasoned so you can still taste the flavor of the meat. The Buffalo and Elk were my favorite they are just so full of flavor I couldn't decide which I liked more. I will say that the Elk is more tender than the Buffalo. The Wild Boar tasted just like regular beef but that is to be expected with this kind of meat. Wild Boar is a lot leaner than regular Pork for those who have never had it. The Venison is really chewy and pretty tough which I really liked since it helps it last longer. Flavor is on point with all 4 of the meats. 2. Customer service was really good they make sure and contact you to make sure you were satisfied. 3. Portions sizes leave much to be desired. They are not big at all but not so tiny that you sill feel ripped off. Just be advised you will fet a piece that is about 1/4" thick and the size of a small to medium adult hand. I understand these meats are pricey so that is why its a little expensive but if you have some cash to spend and enjoy trying good jerky then these should satisfy.

First I have to say i look for jerky with the lower sodium. These meet that requirement. They are not low sodium but much lower than most jerky's. They were all quite good though for my taste I would most prefer the elk followed by the venison. most seemed to be of the cross between the really hard old fashion to the new soft jerky. I shared them around work and everyone seemed to like them. I think the wild boar was the most tender of the 4. The company was also very prompt on inquiries that I made to them.

I love jerky. I ordered this and was so surprised when got to me faster than anticipated. I encourage both of my children (15 and 8) to try everything they are not allergic to. This jerky hands down, is a hot. We started with the Elk jerky which had a nice salt element from the soy sauce to help with the Earthy/gamey taste that this sort of meat can have. There is pepper, but not overpowering so that it blows out your palate. Great seasoning and nice texture all around.
