I've used this fondue set twice for cheese fondue (worked great at keeping the cheese warm and melted) and more recently, I've been using it for aromatherapy by filling it with water and dropping a few drops of peppermint oil. Light a tea light underneath and voila! Your fondue set is now an essential oil diffuser! A great two-in-one product. I live in a small home, so it's wonderful when items can pull double duty.

I really like this item. The flame below give just enough heat to keep the food liquid (we used it for beer cheese). I've only used it a few times, but I'm happy with it. It's well made and sturdy. I do recommend this.

Love this little fondue set. It even looks good displayed on our kitchen shelf!

The ceramic pot looks small but it holds a little over 2 cups of liquid or a fondue recipe with 16oz of cheese. The instructions say that it should be immersed in water for 2 hours before use. I don't know if it's a one-time thing or it has to be done before EACH use. Since it's not a lot of work, I immerse it in water before each use just to be safe. There are holes at the base of the feet where water can get into the interior of the pot - which is probably what prevents the pot from cracking due to heat. I cook the fondue in a nonstick pot and transfer it in the ceramic fondue pot just before serving. The tea light does a good job of keeping the fondue hot and in the liquid state. Even with the traditional Swiss fondue pots, cheese tends to burn/form a ball close to the heat source, so I give the fondue a little swirl with my bread every now and then. In the end, my husband and I were able to eat only half of the fondue - so this size pot can definitely feed 4 people. I covered the leftover fondue (still in the ceramic pot) with a cling wrap and stored it in the fridge. To eat it again, I heated the entire thing in the microwave a minute at a time, 2 to 3 times, giving it a swirl with a spoon after each minute.

These little pots are great! Bought three for daughter’s birthday party. Read other reviews about the cracking...not a problem if you read the enclosed book & soak then in water prior to use as directed. After using for about an hour, bottom did slightly burn, but after using I soaked them in hot soapy water & they rinsed clean. Will definitely use these again for entertaining.

OUTSTANDING! I did lots of fondue hunting...how big of a pot do i want? electric or that fuel gel? stainless or cast iron or porcelain? What company? My god the list goes on and on...i ran into this one and thought what a novel idea it runs off of tea light candles. Love that idea...so simple. Light the candle and heat the porcelain and no worries it keeps the cheese great temperature, you could take this thing anywhere if you really wanted to do fondue outside your home, or over to a friends house and no cord to trip on or fuel gel to worry about just pop the candle under it and ready to go (I literally just got done with a fondue as I'm writing this). The pot is a great size for 2 people and could accommodate 4 but that would be tops. You do make the fondue in another pot on the stove top, however that is how you should do it then use the pot to keep it warm so the cheese and the wine can mix properly. The picture does this pot justice...it is elegant, beautiful and simple to clean. Tea light candles are so cheap ( I recommend the primelight ones - made in USA) i can't say enough about this little fondue set (yes, it comes with one tea light candle to get you started) I will definitely be going to Boska for all my cheese tools and other neat items they offer on their website.

Perfect for a fancy snack with my gf. It is on the small side, but works perfectly for 2. The candle keeps it warm, and actually burnt some fondue on the bottom the first time using it, so stirring the fondue is recommended.

This is great for at-home dates! Made chocolate fondue with some strawberries and graham crackers. The quality of everything is nice but I do have to say that the candle lasted only 3 uses. The wick was too short and failed to stay lit because it reached the surface of the wax.

I loved this! I got it for my partner as a Valentine's day present and it's perfect for having a chocolate fondue dessert or a small cheese appetizer. I wanted something small but functional and I found it!

I soaked them in water the day before using them as one of the reviews here said, despite not finding anything about "curing" them in the box or Boska website. These looked so nice at our party, and the candles melted the chocolate perfectly without having to use the microwave. This item is now a favorite of mine.
