These were a perfect fit and easy to install on my '05 Subaru Outback 3.0 LL Bean Edition. If your headlights are burnt out or dim, this is a really quick and easy job that makes a huge difference. Not sure how long it had been, but one of my headlights was burnt out and so I replaced both, which is recommended. The light these put out is so much brighter and whiter than my last bulbs. I know these are only meant to match OEM quality (not an "upgrade" like brighter options or LED options on here), but they feel like an upgrade to me. Should be plenty bright enough for most people, and price is good from a trusted brand.

Best light bulb I ever bought. I always used Phillips in my bikes. However in the Auto Shops we only find the Sylvania. The Sylvania have a good light when new, but don't last for too long and also the light is not good in rain. But this one is amazing. Lasts longer than Sylvania and rocks at any weather. Is the only light that illuminates better on rain. Don't ask me why.

This is a very good choice for the price. I"m giving it 5 stars because it is exactly what it says. I'm sure you can spend more and get a better bulb, but at $18 a pair this is a steal. I had the basic set by Sylvania and when 1 of them went out, after about a year, i got this pair. These are much brighter that the basic Sylvania set ever was. I can see much more of the road than i ever did with the old basic pair. I can't speak to how long these will last, i'll have to update this review when 1 of the set goes out. But based on my experience with the old set, and now the difference in the new, i don't doubt the basic, +30%, +60%, +100% ratings. You get what you pay for and these are a great value.

Bought these to replace my burnt out headlight bulb on my 2012 Subaru Legacy and these work great! The installation process for the Legacy is insane and takes a while because you have to get to the bulb through the wheel well and a small hole. The passenger side low beam was the bulb that died so I went ahead and replaced both bulbs in a matter of about 45 minutes. There's a noticeable whiter color difference with the new bulbs compared to the OEM but they are only slightly brighter than OEM. Hopefully these last as long as the OEM one's did, at least 75k miles or so.

I was pretty hesitant to buy these for my 2006 Subaru Impreza based off the negative reviews but gave them a shot anyway. They definitely look whiter than the OEM ones and are brighter for sure. I figured these would do in place of LED lights that I plan on getting later. For those people leaving negative reviews please remember these are ONLY $20. Don't go expecting these will light up a forest and are on par with LEDs because they are not BUT are a good, cheap replacement for them if you want a whiter light in your headlights AND are definitely cheaper and better than the crappy overpriced ones they sell at Autozone or O'Reileys. Would buy again.

I have a 2006 Jetta TDI which burned out a low beam bulb. Looking at the dealer's price list I decided that this was a LOT cheaper than $110 per bulb installed, and I did the installation in about 2 minutes. I'd suggest that you buy the 2-bulb set since they tend to darken with age and the OTHER original bulb was not as bright as the new replacement. Definitely recommended.

I really like the upgrade these provided for my 2015 Golf Sportwsgen’s headlamps. I tried the Philips ones, one brightness less than these, and those were a little whiter and brighter than my OEMs. These are quite noticeably a lot whiter and brighter, and well worth the upgrade for me. Their life expectancy is quite a bit shorter than the dimmer ones. We’ll see how they fry and cloud my giant, expensive plastic headlamp assemblies. I’ve thought of upgrading to LEDs to avoid all of that, but alas, I hesitate to introduce outside weirdness to the electrical system of a German car. Ever bought a used one where someone “upgraded” the alarm, or audio system, etc...? You’re entering a world of pain my friend. A world of pain... These have been great since I installed them, and I really appreciate and highly recommend having better visibility.

Not the brightest or the whitest, but they put off a great clean light without annoying other drivers. I have these in my OEM Audi halogen projectors that I have run everything from aftermarket HIDs to higher end and lower end halogen bulbs. In projectors the light is bit muted. I have the same bulbs in my fogs and they are much whiter which is normal, so just realize that expectation. In non projector headlights these will look better. All around a great light. I hope they last a long while.

Love this! Went in like a charm, and really so notice a clear difference between my old one (yes, I too dont “replace in pairs”) and the newly installed one. Would highly recomend. **Update: included picture. The left is the new one and right is my old one. I love how more clear white it is. You may have to zoom to see it but theres a CLEAR distiction. Love these.**

I guess I love it. I learned how to change out the lightbulbs in my car--a Grand Vitara-- became tired of paying $35 a piece plus labor to have it done for me. Seems that the GVs over 2008 have a head lamp blowing issue with a coupler or a gasket or something that consumers have REPEATEDLY brought to the attention of Suzuki. Suzuki could care less as they no longer sell the vehicles in the US--and in any case, their engineers never found a problem as described by their consumers.
