Woah nice pad!

I didn’t vote on the durability, but construction and materials are top notch. It’s not possible to determine durability one day out of the box. I put a layer of Minky (an ironing board pad fabric sold here on Amazon) on the ironing board first, only because I already owned it. This went on easily, you pull the bungee-type cord and cinch it up with a clip on the back. It was a little wrinkled when I put it on. Maybe I can just iron it out a little.

This is a gift for my daughter, I have never paid this much for a cover for myself. That being said I plan to get one for me! Less expensive than others I was looking at locally at stores although. I purchased an oversized board for her and had purchased a very flimsy cover to my disappointment so I wanted an additional one. 18x 49 was needed and Hard to find size locally. This cover stated it fit all sizes I was skeptical, sorry and indeed it did! Thick nice material, very padded all stitched together. But the most ingenious feature is the bungee corded fitting! Plenty of material for overlapping around sides even with oversized board. Pull cord fastener made it a perfect fit easy to install in seconds. Doesn’t need Velcro fasteners underneath which I thought it said it did after viewing multiple sites. So pleased with this product. One note, I saw many reviews while searching and a slight confusion: I steam iron everything with the burst of steam type iron, the 1st flimsy cover I bought allowed the steam to go through the board literally soaking my floor! I have never had this happen on my board of 40+ years no lie. This pad did allow moisture in the underside of this new board but minimal so I’m not sure if it is the newer boards not the covers that do this since others had commented on this being a problem. Otherwise this is a great product for a good price. I do love to iron when all my tools are working properly and this made ironing a new set of cotton sheets that came out of dryer like a set of prunes. I was really Im~pressed! And very happy now off to order myself one!

Simply Put... It Is Superb!

After purchasing a couple of covers that "claimed" they would fit our ironing board, and finding that they didn't, we finally found this one, and it actually fit as advertised! Simply put, it is bright and colorful, the ironing surface is superb, and if it ever needs to be replaced, I know where to get that as well!

I've been searching for over a year for an ironing board cover that will properly fit my over-sized board (54" x 18"), and offer top quality, as well. This is it and I highly recommend the purchase! Not only does it fit these oddly sized boards, but fits the standard ones, too. Well constructed, fits snugly, and is comprised of quality materials. Extremely happy with the purchase and will be looking for this product again, whenever a replacement is needed; just hope it will still be available!

New Pad for Antique Ironing Board

I needed a cover for my grandmother's wooden ironing board. It is from the early 1900s and finding a cover that fits well is always a challenge. The last one has been on it for about 10 years. I measured and decided that the dimensions given in the description would work nicely. It fits like it was made for it!!!! Kudos for the accurate description. I couldn't have designed a better fit myself. It is well padded and the cover seems to grip the item being ironed. I've only done one batch of ironing and it seems to leave creases from the cover shifting a bit but I expect that to go away once the pad has settled into place. The bright colored design adds a cheerfulness to a drab task!

PERFECT cover for 15 x 54 ironing board

PERFECT! I chose this after reading that some other covers do not actually fit 54 x 15 boards well. I have a vintage (50's) sturdy metal ironing board that measures 15 x 54. I took the Ezy Iron pad and cover out of the nice shipping box, stretched it over my ironing board and...winner! Fits perfectly with no need for any straps to hold it underneath. It is smooth and makes ironing a breeze. I was worried that the design with butterflies would be too bold, but do not find it so. It's cheerful. Great product and service from this seller.

size and workmanship

I had to send another brand back as the ironing board I have I received as a shower gift, believe it or not a few decades ago. Anyway, the point of the board is 1 inch longer which makes a difference....55 1/2 inches when most are 54. The width is OK since there was extra fabric accounted for. I pulled it over and it just made it to the end...I know if I get 'iron suspenders' it won't move. So I will. It is soft and padded so it should smooth it out if I do that.

No more little diamond pattern coming through from the metal board while ironing!

Working well for me and so reasonably priced for such a substantially padded cover. Went onto my 13" X 48" board extremely easy with a good fit. Can't say it's made ironing more enjoyable or cut the time down, but I don't miss that little diamond pattern that was showing up from my previous thin pad. Actually installed it over the old one and it works fine.

Wow! What a beautiful cover....a joy to see every day!

I was so pleased when it arrived! The color is a real sea blue and the prints in bright white show up very well. Quality of fabric, padding, and overall ease of use were excellent. It was remarkable to find such a high quality item for such a basic item as an ironing board cover. But this one is in the "hallway" between w/d and back door so easily seen. In addition the ironing board is a very old wooden one....a little larger than usual but this cover stretched easily to cover it smoothly and neatly. No clamps needed! You can be proud of the quality and style of this product!

Such an incredibly cool ironing board cover, it almost makes me want to iron! Meanwhile, it is making my little Pantry where it's stored really beautiful. The cover fit my old ironing board perfectly and the padding seems very thick and smooth. Super happy, highly recommend.
