The monkey even says something like I'm a happy monkey and makes monkey sounds
Bought for 6-mo old grandson we babysit while Mama and Daddy at work. His Mama called him "Chunky Monkey" because he is a husky little guy. The monkey even says something like I'm a happy monkey and makes monkey sounds. Grandson loves this! I started to order the traditional ring stack but you can't go wrong with VTech because of the engaging sounds. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of putting the rings on (sometimes accidentally does it! ha) but the stacker is still entertaining with encouragement ("keep stacking", etc.), songs, and lots of interaction when just knocking it over or pulling a ring off (seems to be easier right now to pull ring off than putting it on). Grandson also likes to chew on the rings. He has quite a few VTech items now (Mama got him the remote control and Iphone a month or two ago and those are very entertaining as well.) 5 *****

Great simple toy.
We bought this for our daughter when she was about 6 months old. At first she didn't really understand but in the last few months (she just one) this has become one of her favorite toys. She loves holding the rings as well. All great for small motor skills. The opening on the rings are all the same size so they can be stacked in any order. The musical monkey (which lights up) on the top plays music as you stack and remove the rings and if you press the monkey's head the toy will play a melody. It's funny, just recently we started hearing new melodies. Maybe we just noticed or maybe it is a reward for the parents after the 1000 time!!

He has also figured out how to put the rings on other things like his feet
This is so cute, but sounds off randomly at times. The motion activated sound encouraged our grandson to use it and at 18 months he still loves it. He has also figured out how to put the rings on other things like his feet.

Stackable colorful rings with music (or not!)
You've seen these before, colorful stackable rings. They play annoying music that your kid will love, but hallelujah, there's a switch to silence it! So,baby can play with sound effects for a while, and you can switch the sound off to stay sane (until baby learns how to operate the switch). A good way to teach colors, sizes, and counting.

Our son's favorite toy!
Round and round, up and down....so we all love this toy. it plays several songs keeping our son interested. We have had it for a month now, and we sing the first song that comes on. We play it for others. The only negative I have is that when the rings are not on, it does look....kind of...phallic.

cute noisemaker
Looks much smaller than I envisioned and of course it is not yet Christmas so it has not yet been taken apart but I tested it just as it--amazingly it comes with battery! Thank you VTech!--so you can test without opening the package. It is really cute. I think my 8-months old granddaughter will love it.

Lights, songs and sounds will keep surely keep the little one coming back for more!
I bought this as a gift for a 1 year old's Birthday. I like how this ring toy is more interactive than Fisher Price's ring stacking toy. Lights, songs and sounds will keep surely keep the little one coming back for more!

Nonstop Play
Even at 16 months old they still love to play with these! My twins love these stacking rings! They stack and stack all day and they love to wear the rings as bracelets. They are durable and withstand the daily play of my twins which says a lot! They have been playing with these for months and haven't grown tired of them yet. Great toy!

I thought he'd get bored of it
My son loves these! He keeps coming back to them. Once he mastered stacking the rings, I thought he'd get bored of it. Nope! He still likes it months later. The songs are not loud and super annoying either. You don't have to turn them on if you don't want to.

Great fun for baby and grandma
So much fun for little ones to learn their colors and stack in order. With this set, you can teach your little one in steps by first letting them just stack the rings - it doesn't matter what order, when they get to be a little older you can show them how to put them in the correct order... baby steps. Wonderful for teaching colors, sequence, and counting.
