Great birthday gift..

Purchased this for my sister's birthday. She was delighted and said they tasted great. My only wish from Amazon is that you can bundle gifts like these along with a giftcard so they arrive together. The giftcard I purchased arrived the day before.

According to my relative who received the chocolates, Godiva proved to be the ultimate in chocolate. I ordered a second by mistake, and she refused to give it up.

Came in a Godiva box

I ordered these for my husband’s birthday, and they were wonderful. However, in the event any of you are ordering these for someone in your own home, and want them to be a surprise, be advised that it arrives in a Godiva branded box. Since it shipped from amazon, I assumed it would show up in the standard amazon box and he wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between that and other prime packages. I came home to an excited ‘You got me Godiva?!’. I believe the description should be updated to state that it comes in a branded box, just so no one else is surprised. Otherwise, this was packaged beautifully and he enjoyed them very much. 😊

Great gift, requires some lead time though

My wife loved these for her birthday! Came well packaged in ice bags. Great quality chocolates and unique product. Keep in mind though that the processing time takes a while so give yourself plenty of lead time if you're getting these for a gift or occasion. Required 4 days of processing and 2 days shipping in my case.

Well insulated against the heat!

I ordered this as a test, sending it to myself before I later try to send it as a gift. It's August, so ordering chocolate is usually a no-no but I decided to test their Warm Weather Guarantee. I can report complete success! Temps reached 89 degrees today, but the chocolate was not melted. The shipped package comes with an insulating pack containing frozen ice packs - the ice packs were half-melted but obviously they did the trick, and I think the package would have been fine sitting on my front porch for the entire afternoon and into the evening (based on the melting at 4:00 when I opened the package - I think it would have been fine until after 7:00, perhaps later ). The chocolate itself is good - it's Godiva, so if you've had it before, you know the quality. The flavors are as described on the product page, and while not all those flavors were to my personal tastes, that is immaterial - the gift chocolate is fun, colorful, original - and since it passed the shipping test, I have to say it's an all-around winner!

They arrived intact and didn't melt!

I was afraid that they would arrive melted after reading some of the previous reviews. I was impressed with the care taken to insulate and package the truffles with ice packs. Not a single one melted or broken! They were delicious and better chilled than at room temp. I wasn't always sure which one i was eating but i had fun guessing the flavour. A little pricey, but IMO well worth it!

Wow, what a wonderful surprise this was. It was a lovely surprise for my cousin, the recipient, but also for myself! I ordered these chocolates for her because I had no idea what to get her and figured, who doesn't love Godiva?! I ordered them three days before her party and two days before a massive heat wave here in Northern California! I was SO stressed out about their delivery, not knowing exactly when they would arrive. I knew I wouldn't be home all day and didn't want them to be left outside in the heat but just didn't know what to do! I checked with neighbors, could they receive the package for me and the refrigerate it for me? - Nope, no one was home during that time! I put out a cooler with ice and a note to the driver to please put the package in there. Well, I need not worry at all. Godiva is a class act and had it all covered! The chocolates arrived beautifully boxed and protected with ice packs labeled, Godiva. I was so relieved and impressed and of course, the gift was a huge hit! Thanks, Godiva!

Delicious and packaged extremely well

This is the second time I have purchased the Happy Birthday truffle set from Godiva for someone's birthday. Both times, the packages arrived safely and securely with a cold pack inside the box. Both recipients absolutely loved the truffles. I got to try a couple of them and they were awesome! I am thinking of ordering some for MY birthday!

Birthday Gift for Sister-in-Law: Shipped Directly to Her

There wasn't a gift option, which seems quite silly considering it is a clearly marketed as a way to gift Godiva chocolates to someone for her/his birthday. (Minus half-of a star for this). My concerns were: would be stale (as other reviews have stated) and would arrive melted (as many reviewers with images have shown). There is a promise to control the temperature of the package and another reviewer stated that their truffles arrived wrapped in ice to ensure the chocolates did not melt. If the proper care is taken to ensure beautiful, fresh truffles that are presented nicely with the care taken to ensure they do not melt, then the price is justified. This was the case for me as these arrived in one day in perfect condition and the intended recipient found them lovely and delicious. This has made me have a pleasant experience ordering these Godiva Birthday truffles and I plan to make this order again for future occasions.
