Very Durable and Easy to Clean!

I love this scale. I needed to have one with a bowl that fits, as I'm primarily using it to measure my dogs' raw food that I feed. Because it's raw meat, I needed to have the bowl, and also one that was easy to clean/sanitize. Because this one is stainless steel- it's already gone through almost 3 months of washing twice daily- and doesn't even have a scratch or dent to show for all the use (even though the bowl itself is thin and lightweight, where it seems like it's not so durable). I can also fit pretty much anything on this scale- I've used other bowls/cups/etc to measure my own food when necessary. This should hold up a long time- and can clearly go through lots of regular use without issue- I'd definitely buy this brand again.

Sooo very accurate!!!

I just received my scale and had to see for myself how accurate it really is. Well let me tell you...I searched my pantry to weigh something. First a package of Jello which didn't work because the brown wrapper threw off the actual jello weight (that's how accurate the scale is). Then I found my husband's waffle cones which I could weigh individually. The nutrition facts stated 1 cone was 21g. I put the cone on the scale (no bowl) and at first it read 22g. I waited maybe ten seconds and it then read 21g. I was totally impressed, I can now measure my food accurately instead of guessing. I am on a diet! Thank you soooo much Etekcity for this precision scale. I would highly recommend it! I am so happy...yeah!

Love This Scale and Bowl!

Works great! Digital display eventually shuts off, but it stays on long enough for this healthful eater to weigh something and add bits to reach the weight required for a recipe. The bowl is large, and I really love that! I can weigh meat for a family meal recipe, for instance. I can also use any other container in my kitchen. The scale still calibrates to zero to give me accurate weights. It weighs to the tenth of an ounce as well. I can weigh sugar-free pudding mix to get three tenths of an ounce for flavoring yogurt or whatever. In short, this scale serves my every need, and it's easy to keep clean.

Great quality, practical design

I absolutely love this thing--and I've never been great at using a kitchen scale! This makes it so easy, and you can put your own bowl also, if you want. It's great quality too, and looks nice sitting on the counter. Gets used every day to weigh my protein for salad, and to toss it in. I did shop in the stores but couldn't find anything this nice, especially at this price. Would definitely recommend!

Love it!!

Love it!! Great price, very accurate and looks very professional. The fitted bowl works well for a litter of squirming puppies we just had - making sure they are gaining weight properly. I just started a new diet and I can place a cup or any container on it, turn on the scale and it zeros out so I can add ingredients by weight. My husband is using it to with our boys to weigh the Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby cars they are crafting. It's very accurate.

Nice quality, I use it every day!

I bought this to replace an ailing scale I got from Target and I must say I am very impressed with it. I love the fact that you can measure and mix in the same bowl and it cleans up really easy (my old scale had no bowl so needed to be calibrated on every use to allow for the container) The display is large and crisp and it runs off traditional batteries (AAA) instead if a "watch style" battery like my old scale. The built in kitchen timer may also be useful for some (not needed for me as I use Alexa with my echo dot). The room temperature display comes in very handy when preparing certain foods. This is well worth the money especially if you need to weigh you food for dieting

Excellent Scale

I bought this scale over the Oxo scale because it came with a bowl and the display was easy to read. I bake a lot of bread and weighing ingredients works better than measuring them. Weights are the same every time. This scale is wonderful. I have used the bowl that comes with it, I have used a glass Anchor Hocking mixing bowl, and I have used stainless steel bowls. I can read the scale with no problem. The weights are accurate and that's what matters most to me. The price didn't hurt either.

Accurate for lighter weight

I bought this scale based on positive reviews, and the reviews were just as accurate as the scale is. I needed something that could measure lighter weights for cooking while still being accurate. For example, I use this scale to measure out coffee beans to grind for a French press pot of coffee, and it needs to be extremely accurate, so I use the "gram" scale because there is 28.3495 grams in a single ounce -- very accurate measure if you're serious about good coffee. I've had other scales that were not nearly accurate enough to be useful, so when the last one broke I bought this one. I have no idea how long it will last, although it seems to be well made; it's mostly metal and the bowl is metal, and the parts appear to be durable, so hopefully it will last a while. This particular scale is said to measure up to eleven pounds (4,989 grams, give or take half a gram), and the gram scale is the most accurate measure, and it will measure fractions of a gram. Easy to use, appears to be durable, accurate, and I even got a pair of AAA batteries that still had some life -- can't ask for anything more. 5 stars for functionality; no idea about durability or battery life, but if the scale works for a year or two I'll feel like I've gotten my money's worth. Recommended. No affiliation with Etek. Oh, the scale was boxed really well and it arrived promptly, too.

The beep isn't that loud lol

The little beep when you turn it on is NOT that bad, folks. Some people had me worried it was going to wake the neighbors or something, but it's really not that loud. I love this scale, and I use it almost every day. The bowl is perfect, but it's easy to use the scale without it. Intuitive button controls, too. Sleek little scale!

Perfect!!!

Purchased this scale to make homemade pet food for one week daily batches. It is stainless steel and easy to wash. The bowl is very large and can handle a lot of food or liquid. You can change from grams to ounces very easily, I prefer the grams, easier to measure. If you put too little in, just add more. If you put too much just take some out, the scale will continue to measure until you are done with that ingredient or ingredients. It shuts itself off if it does not detect activity after a few minutes if you get side tracked. Not a problem just turn it back on. Has a nice look and can be left on the counter, it is not an eye sore to look at. Works perfect for me, I start with the chicken or beef, rinse the bowl quickly and on to the next ingredient, you do not have to rinse, as once you remove the ingredients and replace the bowl it goes to zero even if there is trace food left. I got the on button dirty with my fingers, it wiped off clean.. Easy to clean, easy to use, precise and looks expensive. I am very pleased with this purchase, so glad I did not buy the plastic one.
