- Solution for "bulb out signal" / "OBC error message" after installing SMD LED light bulb. Solution for Fast Turn Signal Blinking response after installing LED light bulb.
- LED load resistor will not solve LED bulbs flashing issue, which mean the LED bulb is defective.
- Load Resistors heat up like light bulbs and get really HOT when working. Mount them on metal surface, NOT plastic.
- Installation is easy. Just connect the wires with the splice taps provided.
- 1 year warranty.

Very nicely made product
They work. I have an 07 shadow spirit (VT750DC) I put an led taillight on and had the dreaded fast flash. One of these on each taillight harness and problem solved. I wouldn't use the wire taps supplied , they work , but over time the wire will corrode. Take your time and solder with heat shrink. As my resistors were only for the turn signal feed , they don't have a chance to get hot. Very nicely made product , worth every penny.

No hyper flash
I got a set of these resistors along with LEDs for my turn signals, front and rear. These do indeed solve the "hyper flash" issue, but I suggest to anybody reading this that if your splices are exposed to weather in any way, I would suggest NOT using the "table splice" things that come with the resistors to make your connections. They will leave you vehicles wiring exposed and in the long term will likely end up costing you in repairs result of corroded wiring. A good, soldered and heat shrinked splice will not be vulnerable to water intrusion and is a much better way to connect these to your vehicles wiring. As somebody that works on cars professionally, I've seen literally too many cars to count have electrical issues because somebody used splices such as the ones that come with these resistors. All in all, the resistors work and I have no complaints. 5 stars

Product is fine but didn't work in my situation (2014 Ram 1500)
I bought these resistors to attempt to resolve a hyperflash issue while trying to convert my 2014 Ram to LED turn signals. They arrived decently packaged and (always with Amazon) on time. Being an electronics tech, I tested them and they indeed showed 5 ohms. I installed them properly, but was very disappointed to see my issue was NOT resolved. While I'm certain these resistors are a key part of converting to LED's in my particular truck, I need to continue to search for whatever else in the truck is preventing me from success. So far, it appears to me that the inner workings of the modules (schematics etc.) are not available anywhere I've looked nor have I found a connectivity flowchart which might offer me some clues about how it's designed. The local Ram dealer tells me my truck does NOT have CANBUS, but they also couldn't tell me where the flashers are located, so I question the veracity of their input. When/if I find answers, I will update this post. If anyone in "Amazonland" has resolved this, I would like to learn from you.

Does the job as an LED hyper flash fix.
Good price, works as expected, and fast shipping. I'm not a fan of the supplied vampire clamps but they will work in a pinch. Personally I went with bullet connectors instead. They will get hot enough I would not trust mounting to plastic or letting them dangle around it. It does take some time to get hot though. Hot enough to be uncomfortable in your hand but I don't think they will burn plastic but it may deform due to the heat over time. Should be mounted to metal as instructed for piece of mind and better heat dissipation.

Works Perfectly
I have a 2005 Trailblazer. I installed LED lights and this caused a hyper flash with the turn signals. I watched a YouTube video and 30mins later everything was installed. Don't listen about these things heating up. You would have to drive with your turn signal on for an hour to heat them up.

Good quality, long leads and rated value consistent
Accurate resistance and more importantly, all were equal in measure which is important lf your vehicle (mine 02’ Land Rover) BCM controls turn signals as many systems use resistance value of left and right circuits and compare them. If not within small margin of equal, one side will hyper flash..... thus, bulb brand and wattage should mirror opposite side of car And resistors obviously also must be adequate AND have like resistance.

Perfect Solution to the Rapid Blink Problem
So I bought LED bulbs for my truck and failed to remember the part that LED's have such a high resistance that the blink circuit thinks the bulb has failed, and it blinks fast. Found these resistors and installed them per the instructions, except mounting them onto metal. Instructions state the resistors get very hot and must be mounted on a metal surface, which they probably do get hot under periods of long use, but for a turn signal, they don't get hot. I hardly noticed any temperature rise.

Your German car CAN have LEDs...
Excellent quality and a great value. For Canbus systems typically found in German vehicles, these little things can allow you to have LEDs without headaches error codes amd other malfunctions. Please note: these resistors get extremely hot and may damage lightly insulated wires and even melt some types of plastics. There have mounting holes to keep them away from hazardous locations where problems may occur due to their extreme operating temperatures.

More uses than turn signal load - Current limiter for tape and turntable player demagnitizer
I also used them in conjunction to limit tweeter load, I recently bi-amped my Home speakers and tweeters where screaming and distorting. I changed the capacitor to 10 uf and put a 6 ohm resistor in series. Great sounding now. Sometimes trial and error with RC since the ohm's of the circuit change. The subwoofer was affecting the whole crossover circuit, so when removed the sub the amount of power the tweeters where getting changed, also frequency. Cheap Crossovers... I just bipassed them and just use midrange for the 4" speakers. Need to solder and button up speakers. Bi-Amping's pretty cool have 2 8" subs now. I also used same circuit with some Awia speakers that had seperate wires for the tweeters.

Works well
Worked well on 07 Tundra with led bulbs all the way around. Needed them on front and back. Front easy install only 2 wires. Rear has 3 wires. Just remove wire casing and determine which is hot and ground. YouTube videos explain.
