Purchased this 5-in-1 reflector set (32 inch round version) for a kindergarten class photo shoot that I did last week. This is the first time for me using reflectors and boy, I wish I would have purchased these sooner. I love photographing outdoors but there are definitely times where you are not able to control the lighting...it's Mother Nature! With this, you now have the ability to direct or filter the sunlight as needed. Living the the Pacific Northwest, the weather/sunlight is unpredictable to say the least. The photoshoot was right around lunchtime, so the sun was out in full force. My assistant was able to hold up the white filter and disperse/soften the harsh sunlight over the subject's face. This made a world of difference. We also used some of the reflective sides as the sun was beginning to angle behind the subject. To summarize: This is a great purchase for any photographer shooting outdoors. It's easy to use and provides 5 different reflectors (one of which is a filter). I had no issues with folding it back up into the zippered case. Also, the handles are nice to have.

Must have handles!!

You don't realize you need the handles until you don't have them. As a photographer, I have a few reflectors in different sizes/brands depending on the price they were, but this one I use the most. Your hands don't get as fatigued holding this as they do holding one without the handles, if that makes sense. If I'm working alone, it's much easier to hold the reflector and camera at the same time too. Good quality zippers, grips and material.

Good Quality Construction for the Price.

A nice inexpensive reflector that appears to be of reasonable construction for the price. The basic "hoop" is a translucent diffusion material, great for softening a point-source light (just watch the temperature on incandescent lamps, it could catch fire!), with a zippered cover that has 4 bounce colors that can be brought to bear on the subject by reversing the cover and placing it back on the hoop. I bought one to try it out and will be buying more in the near future. Very handy for remote locations where the Sun is the only light source. I really like the molded plastic handles on the reflector; makes it much easier to control and fold. While the zippered pouch that holds the unit probably won't last long, it still is a good value for the price.

We use this in so many way. Versatile! Fold s up great every time. Not only would I recommend but I'f ask you. . .why are you debating. None better at this price range. The scrim/defuser is a life saver for doing outside work on portraits. I'd recommend. We've had our for over a year. Never fails to get used. We've worn out the carrying case we've used the product so much. I'd recommend. Are you still debating on buying?!?! Never regretted our purchase.

A Must-Have Item

An easy five-star rating from me for quality vs price, ease of use, and practicality. Every photographer should have several reflectors in various sizes to cover every situation. This particular size is very practical, but a larger rectangular is, for me, a must also. This 32" round is easy to use, and a quick twist folds it back down so it can be returned to its accompanying carrier. There's a reflector color for every photography situation plus a filter to soften the harsh midday sunlight, which actually rescued me on a recent shoot. The handles are a bit of a bonus; they just make it a bit easier to manage. This is really a must-have item. I always take a couple of reflectors with me on a shoot. BOTTOM LINE: Buy it!

Perfect

These reflectors are perfect for the price and I love the versatility that it comes with. I used these reflectors for my short film "Man of my Word" on youtube which you can find by searching RodneyMac12. I love the fact they have handles on them and they handle light really well. They also come with a zip up bag. I will probably get a bigger size next time.

Oh how I love these reflectors

Oh how I love these reflectors! I know, it's unnatural to say you LOVE a big round thing that has silver, black, white, or gold panels that reflect light...but they are awesome. They come in a sturdy little bag, and are so easy to "pop" out and to put back into shape when it's time to store them. They are a great size and the handles make all the difference to me. If I'm out in the wind they are easy to hold on to. If I'm inside those handles are GREAT for hanging the reflectors on something nearby if I don't have enough hands to hold them myself. The whole thing is well made and even after being accidentally stepped on, kicked, and bent a bit too far, it keeps bouncing right back. I plan to buy other sizes and shapes as I learn more about lighting.

I'm impressed with the quality!

Great quality reflectors for a great price! These reflectors feel really solid, and I love the fact that it comes in all kinds of different colors you could ever wish for! They pack away nicely in the little cloth case shown in the description, and they feel sturdy. You can definitely get cheaper reflectors, but you won't get the same quality and feel of these reflectors. Plus, the built in handles are very convenient, and it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart on you. I use this with their M11-086 Studio Reflector Holder, and it works fantastically! You won't be disappointed by this product.

Lightweight and easy to use

Nice product. Comes in a nice carrying pouch and is easy to fold and unfold. My only "issue" is incredibly minor, but I really wish the white reflector and silver reflectors were on the same side. Those are probably the two most used colors, but you have to unzip the reflector and reverse it to go between white and silver. Otherwise I love it.

Big reflector 5 in 1

This is a huge reflector sont get fooled by the picture they are big at 43 inches they are big they work pretty good remember it's a 5 in one so that means it comes with two sleeves one with gold and black and another with silver and white and the diffuser the only thing with this is that it can be a bit to big to hold from the handles and it can be a bit hard to fold but it could just be me I always have a hard time forlding things like this but over all its is really good and comes with a carrying pouch
