* The yarn balls are small - so be sure to buy at least two packs if you're working on a larger project! I am currently working on a charity crochet project - I'm making cat blankets in a granny square pattern. The yarn is soft and fairly easy to work with. I've found I need four rolls of yarn for one blanket (I'm ordering two more packs so I can make the amount of blankets I agreed to). I appreciate the bonus crochet hooks - as I've been making multiple blankets at a time - it helps having extra hooks to be able to start blankets on multiple hooks. I will post photos at a later time - as I need to get back to work on the project!

Great value for the price!

I purchased this as a gift for a children's toy drive. I am hoping that some kid would like to learn to knit/crochet instead of getting some new tech-y toy :) The set is nicely put together and ready for gift giving. The yarn quality seems fine; definitely good for a starter set. Great value for the price.

Old Friend Needed Yarn

Actually sent to my 93 year old friend who still knits. When I visited her, she told me she was out of yarn but was unable to leave her house any more. So I sent Mira yarn to her & she called me when she received it and was so happy with all the colors and quality of the yarn.She lives where I used to live and I don't travel back very often. That's why Amazon is so great to ship for you.

Ideal for a young granddaughter. Beautiful yarn and packaging.

I ordered this because my 8 year old, soon to be 9, granddaughter has asked me to teach her how to knit. She loves bright colors and was thrilled to see the packaging of such vibrant yarn and I ordered bamboo knitting needles to go with it. It does come with instruction downloads and crochet hooks, but knitting was what she was interested in now. I am very happy with this purchase, but it would have been very nice to have knitting needles included also.

Great deal! Pretty yarn

Very good product. Yarn is soft, colors are vibrant and true to what is pictured. You get a decent amount of each color for the price. I'm working on a Rainbow hat and it would have cost a ton more to buy full sized skeins of each color, but the tiny Bon Bon skeins were not enough. Two crochet hooks and two metal yarn needles came with the yarn as a "free gift" which is amazing considering the price. Very happy with my purchase!

Learning to Crochet

So far one of the yarn bonbons had been tied where the yarn had broken or been cut glad I'm just using this product to learn as a beginner to crotchet.

This yarn and crochet hook set was a great buy. I haven't crochet' in a long time so I didn't know where my hooks were so it was very convenient that this package had two hooks, and yarn needles (which I've never had before) come with the yarn! I've already completed a pretty yellow scarf using the entire yellow yarn ball which will be a gift for my mother. I think the vibrant color will compliment her black and white houndstooth peacoat very nicely this fall. Also I've started working on some amigurumi type projects with the other colors but I used up all of my white yarn so I need to buy some more!
