String does not tangle
A number of other reviewers said that the string came tangled. The kite I received did not have this problem and the string that came with the kite appears to be a type (perhaps spectra) that does not tangle easily. I also wanted to say that this kite is super-easy to fly under the right conditions. My wife had never flown a 2-string kite before and was able to control this after only 2 tries. I also found it very responsive and fun (though I have had a little experience with one other 2-string kite). The kite material appears durable though I've only flown the kite once so far. Last, but not least, it flies well in a very light rain with 10-15 mph variable winds.

Great kite.
This kite is a lot of fun. It’s a great kite to learn with, because you don’t have to worry about breaking its spine if you crash it. I recommend the larger version, it has more pull and is more exciting to fly. They can be a little bit of a pain in the arse to get in the air by yourself though. I usually wear leather gloves and start close to the kite and let the string go thru my hands. Otherwise, I still need a second person to get this into the air, whereas with a normal stunt kite, i can do it myself.

Great Starter Kite
I got this kite for my 10 year old son for him to try out kiting. The shipping only took 3 days. And was packed well. I love the carry bag that comes with it. Attached to it is a little carabiner. The guide is very informative and handy. The tail hook is located at the back side. The only downside of this kite is the back. It is just plain white with a safety label. This kite has equalizer straps which means you can adjust the lines to be equal. So far this is a great starter kite for my son. I would recommend this for beginners at kiting.

So much fun!
Had never flown a sport kit before, so I picked up the smaller kite to fly in the greenbelt behind my house. On a windy day, my 45lb daughter needed someone to hold her but she absolutely LOVED it. I weigh in at 250, but I could definitely feel the pull. I am pretty much on the verge of picking up the larger kite, and I DID order the tail for it. Amazing how well it holds up to some of the brutal landings it made while we tried to learn how to use it. Way more fun than any normal kite.

Stitching pulled out first flight!
Kite is great, but seam tore out during my first flight! Wind was 10-15 mph and I have experience flying, so I wasn't being rough on it. I assume it may be a defective unit. I contacted Prism, and within 3 days, they sent me a new kite. I am amazed how agile this kite is and how hard it can pull in high winds considering it isn't that big of a kite. I am 160 lbs, and under strong gusts, will make me take a few steps forward.

A fun and relaxing way to enjoy a windy day
I’ve flown two string delta kites before, and single string parafoil kites. I wanted a stunt kite that would pack up small for our trip to Puerto Rico. After reading reviews on here and goingneirh my gut, I ordered the smallest version of this kite - the “cilantro” or 140 size kite. It packs up really small - smaller than our single string parafoil. Pure and simple - I love this kite. It flies really well. It does need a good breeze - flying it at the beach was perfect. It’s a lot of fun doing spins, figure 8s, dives and cutting a horizontal line just above the ground. It also recovers well - once in a while it would catch a cross breeze and collapse on one side, but it would turn a little, inflate again and fly off. And even if you crash it, if you’re at the beach anyhow, just flip it so the bridle is facing up, put some sand along the bottom edge, pick up the handles and give it a strong tug as you step backwards and it will launch right into the air. My only complaint is that the line on one side was considerably longer than the other, causing it to turn right unless I held one handle back a lot. The instructions explain how to adjust the lines though and it’s an easy fix.

High quality, durable, and FUN!
This is a great kite. A+ 1. PRISM - This is our second Prism kite. They offer high quality manufacturing at a fair price. I am very happy with both. 2. DURABLE - If you want to learn how to fly a two handed kite, the parafoil is the way to go. I taught both myself and my son with this kite. We crashed it. Hard. About 50 times. No problem. We just got it a little sandy at the beach. 3. FUN - Most importantly, it is so much fun! In a stiff breeze, you will feel the pull, but it is still OK for my 10 year old son without pulling him down the beach. Enjoy!

Great kite!
I purchased this kite after flying a flexifoil 6 ft for 25 years and I needed something lighter and easier to carry around when traveling and mostly backpacking the coast. It's small and it's not a fan of light winds. Well worth the money it was a blast to fly. My 12yr old crashed it quite a few times while learning to fly it and it held up really well. Looks new still. Happy with my purchase. Great kite!

I had a blast with this kite
I have had a couple of duel line kites as a kid. They all sucked. They were overly complex to set up or when I did get them up I would end up crashing them breaking the spines or any number of things that broke. I took this kite out many time so. I love that everything is already attached and ready to go right out of the bag. The first was at a park that did not have enough wind to fly. The next was at a beach that had some nice 10-15 mph winds and I actually got it up in the air. I have only flown single line kites without destroying them. You hold the string and the kite goes up. Strait forward if there is enough wind so, before I flew this kite I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to control and handle a duel line kite. Using what I learned from YouTube so I don’t drag it on the ground and wear everything faster then needed. I practiced doing some simple tricks like figure eights and exploring the wind envelope. I crashed it a couple of times but since it does not have any spines nothing happened and I just reset and sent it back up. Once I went a few minutes of not crashing I started doing some spins and dive bombs and again crashed it a few more times. I spent like two hours that first day having fun with my new kite and I loved every moment of it. Flying this kite made me want to get all the sizes of Synapse kites and try some other kites as well. This kite is definitely fun to play with and can’t really break if you crash it. I’ve been having so much fun I even got there 20 foot tube tail to add some flair to my kite. So if you want something to begin with check this kite out.
