I never knew I needed a squid hat in my life, but it has provided a lot of good entertainment value. Definitely worth the purchase. I wore it to NaNoWriMo write-ins to inspire other writers to take themselves less seriously, and on another occasion my brother wore it to cheer me up when I was feeling down. It fits all adult head sizes pretty well.

this is fabulous!!!

we ordered the aqua color and it is lovely in its iridescence. it is a show-stopper. my son has a weird hat collection and this is one of his new favorites. (also the angler fish hat purchased from amazon.) this is comfortable and fits a variety of head sizes. know that because of the sheer size of this hat and the tendrils hanging down of fabric, this hat is pretty warm to wear for an extended period of time. if, however, you live in a cold climate and are wont to wear this outside to stay warm, I say good for you! you will certainly start many a lively conversation and perhaps meet others with similar goals in life. buy this and enjoy!!

Great fit and got some chuckles

I bought this hat for a festival and it was worn by two different people with different sized heads. It fit both the larger head and the more "regular" sized head without issues. Both people got funny looks and compliments on this hat. Glad I bought it. It was worn for several hours by both people for two nights and still has many more wears left to go.

Funny and fits adult with big head.

Fully and big. It is actually very big. It is pretty high on the head and certainly fits a big adult head.

Fun hat to wear in crowds.

This hat worked out great for me. My daughter and I have gone to a convention almost every year it's a tradition for us. This year she and her boyfriend dressed up for cosplay I wanted something simple just to have fun. I found this and ordered it just to be goofy as a plus it was very reconize able for them if we separated they could spot me in a huge crowd. People loved the hat and it was talked about a lot I got autographs on the hat now. It will be back with me again next year.

Good quality

Buying costume props online is a real gamble because you can't tell which ones are junk and which ones aren't. I am therefore thankful for the people who take the time to write reviews to assist others. I will now do the same. I needed some props for a photo booth and want some that will last. This fun little "hat" should do what I want. Quality seems good. I'll revise this review after a few uses

Well made. Light weight. Vibrant colors! Worth it!

Bought this hat for my daughters crazy hat day. It was the hit of the day! Everyone loved it! Her principal said she won crazy hat day hands down! Its light weight so it's not annoying to wear all day. The colors are vibrant and fun. Other reviews mentioned that the eyeballs came loose but ours was sewn on and I thought well constructed. She was ecstatic with her hat and all the fun comments from friends! SO worth the buy!
