As an adult in their early 30s with braces for the first time you realize just how quickly flossing S-U-C-K-S! I used to work in an orthodontist's office and know, first hand, how important dental hygiene is ESPECIALLY with braces. Good deal

Searched high and low for flossers that would work for my braces—this brand on Amazon was by far the best deal considering I have a prime membership so product was received in a few days. The work as expected.

A must for braces wearers!

My kids use these because the ortho floss they are instructed to use takes too long. These were recommended to me by a friend, and we LOVE them. If you have braces, skip the ortho floss and use these platypus flossers; they are faster, do just as good of a job, and are all-around more convenient. Why our ortho office doesn't sell them or promote them, I do not know!

A miracle for kids with braces

Picked these up before my daughter got braces. She forgot about them the day she got them and was trying to use a regular floss pick and having a ton of issues. She was extremely frustrated and then we reminded her. This was easy, did everything she needed it to do and calmed her down. She can get a variety of things stuck in there and this gets it out no problem.

These Platypus flossers work great! He can get them in under his braces ...

My twelve year old son recently got braces, and he found the floss that you thread through your teeth way too hard to use. He used other flossers in the past, and they worked OK, but obviously not now that he has braces. These Platypus flossers work great! He can get them in under his braces just fine, they don't wear out before he's done with the job (like some others have), and, when bought in bulk, are actually cheaper than the generic ones we used to use.

Makes a hard thing so easy

IF YOU HAVE BRACES YOU NEED THIS!!! Before this, my only option for a clean mouth was an expensive water flosser. I would run my water flosser 2-3 times because I just wasn't sure of how clean it was getting my teeth. Being able to feel the floss against the teeth makes me feel more certain that things are getting cleaned. I still use my water flosser, but if I had to chose one over the other I'd cheese these.

Absolute must for braces!

Love the platypus orthodontic flossers! This is the only way to floss with braces! I tried to floss with the threading floss method, and took way too long. These platypus flossers go right underneath the wire and work perfectly! It's the only way to floss if you have braces. My routine is to use a waterpik water flosser first, then I brush my teeth with a Sonicare toothbrush, then I use the platypus orthodontic flosser and finally the Act mouthwash. Works perfect! I would highly recommend the platypus flosser to anyone with orthodontic work.

No more threading floss around the wires and brackets!!

These things are wonderful!! I'm a dentist and I'll tell you we have ALWAYS had a difficulty with patients cleaning between their teeth when they have braces. UNTIL NOW!! This makes it sooo easy to floss with braces! I recommend them to all my orthodontic patients. AND I started back into braces (not the clear aligners) last September. These have been something that I carry with me at all times and they work great!! No more trying to thread the floss around the wires and bracket!! This is one of those products that I say "Why didn't I think of that!!??"

Love these things

Love these things! Have braces and my dentist recommended these when I complained about using the threading floss and how long it takes. I placed an initial order to try and loved them so much I passed some on to my niece and nephew and ordered a second batch. I keep some handy in the car and have found these so easy to use and they work great (better than threading floss in my opinion). They are sturdy and have done a great job.

Easy to use

I wish I had this when I had braces. I may have been more compliant with flossing. I have 2 teen girls who swear by these and use them every night. It makes it easy for them to be compliant with hygiene and their dentist approves.
