Worth the 20 bucks. I'm a really good chopper so I didn't think this would be so useful. Read the instructions carefully. I can mince a can of garbanzo beans in here and make mock tuna salad. This thing makes salsa instantlly. Make sure the blades are parallel before pulling. There is a little gizmo that is optional that is for flicking up the food when you have a small amount. This works perfectly for many things but it won't chop everything. Good quality, a Swiss design, I believe.

I love to cook and chopping food is part of the fun experience. Being on the WFPB lifestyle I do a lot of chopping so this will just expedite the process. Please take care as the blades are like razors and removing the bottom booster arm in order to place the protective cover over the blades for storing was a challenge for 'me'. Very afraid of slicing my fingers. Maybe it will become easier after several uses. It is so easy to pull the cord to chop and the container is large than I expected which is great. The product is also well made. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who can take care with the blades. I will have to wear those dang bifocals!

I love this little processor. It's well made and great for making tuna, egg and chicken salad. I've also used it to make meatballs. Just throw vegetables and meat into this processor where you have more control as to the size and consistancy of your food. This is a perfect addition to any kitchen. I'm sure there are many more uses I haven't discovered yet. I've had it for over a year and it is still in great condition. If anything should happen to this little processor I would purchase another without any hesitation.

My eyes are extremely sensitive to the evil power that hides inside the deceivingly innocent onion. Every time I finely chop onions, my eyes tear up like gross little fountains. Chopping onions is the bane of my existence, but I still bear with it because who can cook without them? Usually, I will peel and cut and onion in half before wrapping it in plastic wrap and sticking it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes. Freezing the onion helps to inhibit the enzymes that irritate my eyes when I chop onions, so that I can cut them without tearing up. However, sometimes I forget to do that or simply don't have enough time. This little device is the perfect solution to that problem. I can cut an onion in half, or quarters depending on the size, plop it into the device and let the pull-chopper do all the dirty work. All the tear-inducing liquid inside the onion is contained without the device and I am left with nicely chopped onions. I highly recommend this pull-chopper to anyone who hates chopping food into uniform pieces. It's great at prepping ingredients for cooking like onion and garlic. You can make everything from homemade salsa to Chimichurri. The device is simple to put together and take apart. Cleaning is a breeze as well; just be careful when cleaning the blade. The pull-chopper is quite durable and the most vulnerable component, the cord, has a prolonged lifespan because it does not get exposed to water when you clean the device. This is because the bottom of the lid is the only part of the lid that makes contact with the ingredients and gets dirty. It doesn't take too many pulls to finely chop ingredients; even those as tough as fresh carrots. However, you can adjust how finely the ingredients get chopped by decreasing and increasing the number of pulls. When it comes time to put away the device, all the components assemble together into a tiny bundle that is easy to shove into any uninhabited space in a my kitchen cabinet.

My husband is a stage 4 cancer survivor (throat) and requires blended food. We are going on vacation and had difficulty finding electrical outlets to use when we brought the Ninja with. This blends food comparable to the Ninja when you add extra pulls. The consistency of food blended is related to how many times you pull the cord. We've taken it into restaurants and have not disturbed other customers. Kids are really interested in it and ask to try. The lid does NOT lock on and requires you holding it down while pulling. Convenient size at around 5 inches x 5 inches. Bought a shoulder pack to easily transport. Perfect for our needs. Capable of holding/chopping TWO burritos at one time. Just hope we hear back from TSA that this medically-necessary device will be able to go through security check when the blade cover is applied to it.

Obsessed. Used it to make pico de gallo, broccoli soup and even pie crust! Very versatile, durable, saves a lot of space and energy! The only downside is that you can only do small batches at a time so if you’re preparing a big quantity for more people it might take you awhile but that is not a problem for me and I absolutely love it!

I just love this chopper. It can chop up celery & onions so fine. It works great for apples even with the skin on. I use it all the time. I does a better job than my large food processer. I bought this so I could do just a little bit of onion or celery at a time. Now this is my favorite, I use it all the time. Also it is very easy to clean I basically just rinse it after each use. Love it, love it, love it!!!

I Just got this little beauty. It's a tremendous tool for preparing raw food meals. Just this morning I chopped up a head of Kale, a beet, cucumber, tomato, red pepper, garlic. WHat I see before me is a finely chopped raw food masterpiece. My knife and cutting board sit idly by - unused. I saved at least an hour of cutting and mincing by using this thing. Tremendous! And clean up is easy peasy. I just swish a little water around in the clear plastic bowl and drink it down. Done. It's well made, durable, and seems to have a personality. I am thinking of giving it a name. Love it.

I use my Zylisss chopper almost every day - mincing onions for chili, vegetables for salads, even mixing eggs for omelettes. It's the best thing ever. Incredibly easy to use, and with a little bit of experience, you know exactly how many pulls you need to get the size of pieces you want. Fantastic. FAST FORWARD: nearly 3 years later, the cord broke, probably from nearly daily use! I was about to order a new one when I noticed the 5 year guarantee. I contacted Zyliss with an email and a photo of the broken cord, and they responded immediately, sending me a brand new one. I probably did 5 years of use in my 3 years, but I thought it was great that they (in a very friendly manner) immediately responded. So - absolutely reliable. My favorite kitchen tool by far!
