This is my #1 lens!

I am a semi-pro photographer who takes car show photos as well as some feature pictures for car magazines. I have one other Sigma lens (a wide angle) and after I read professional reviews on this one, I decided to rent one before I purchased. I loved the lens after using it for a weekend. Being at car shows where cars are tightly packed, the 1.8 really drew my attention and didn't disappoint. The bokeh that I was able to get to fuzz out the background really made the cars pop in my photos. You can feel the quality in this new line from Sigma - metal and glass - they aren't messing around. I rented the 50/100mm f/1.8 for a feature shoot, and I was equally amazed. That will be my next purchase! If you are a portrait photogrpaher, I think you will be more than happy with how this lens performs. Additionally, I was really surprised how well the other accesories performed. I didn't plan on using them, but have found the flash and filters to come in quite handy!
