Good deal so far

Took a chance on these flashlights. I like to have lights like these laying around the house in case of power outages. I tested all four and they work fine. The light seems brighter than I get from other similar lights I purchased locally a couple of years ago. One suggestion from experience: a dab of grease or anti-seize compound will keep the end cap threads from sticking and improve the life of the O-ring seal. Bottom line initial impression: I am satisfied with these lights.

Oooo-yeah... no disappointment with these!

Amazing brightness! I've owned gobs of small flashlights. This one's output is "light" years past ANY of them. It is not as small (1 for the purse) as preferred, but the sharp and large lit area make up for that tiny personal issue. Recently black cat escaped into the night... no squinting as with other lights trying to see under bushes, this small powerhouse made illuminating easier (cat disappointed). I cannot recall larger flashlights having such a brilliant white light without those silly gradations from center where there is a small yellow middle light that gradually weakens as the focus dims to the outer edge. This light is not like that. The lit area is covered edge to edge. I was going to give 3 as Xmas gifts, but those folks will have to wait for theirs. These 4 are for me... had power outage recently and want these in more rooms... now for a battery-powered microwave... have TV battery-powered. So, those outages won't be such a pain. (Not to mention, they look from 'nice color' to 'yeah, that's a pretty color', as if that matters, right?)

Small and Light

I wanted small lights for my kids to carry while walking home from school. It gets so dark now in the winter! They're small and light and perfect for little hands. The only thing to be careful is that they are very bright so they need to be careful about flashing others' eyes.

i bought more expensive flashlights (not smart to go to the dog park at night without a flashlight), but kept losing them...this one has a wrist-strap to you have both hands free while opening and closing bags helps a lot!) I can keep one in the car one by my office desk, one upstairs and one by the back door when i forget to leave a light on. The button on the end makes it easy to locate the switch too. Not fancy, but very well designed...just barely longer than a triple aaa battery with room for the switch and bulb.

Great for the Price, but not Totally Reliable ! - Read Update

I've had the pack of 4 LED flashlights now for over a month now. Worked great when I got them, however with light use one flashlight has completely died. The others are working, however on one of them 3 of the LED lights are out. Is this a good product ? Yes, for the price. Would I buy them again ? Probably not. When working they are a good flashlight, and fairly bright. However, I would want something more reliable. Looks like they were made in China, the fit and finish are okay for the price, but be aware that in the pack of 4, your odds of the mall working, and long time working are slim. Just my opinion, that's all. Hope this helps someone. I must say ByLight does read the reviews. I was contacted by their customer service department, and offered a replacement set for 0.10, yes, TEN cents ! I have received the new set, and all 4 of the flashlights are working as described. Seems this company really cares, and has outstanding customer service. I can only tell you my story, and I am completely satisfied. I have upgraded my review from 3 stars to 5 stars, simply for the outstanding customer service. ByLight didn't have to do this, but they did.

Let the light shine

The BYB Super Bright LED mini-flashlight is a very well designed and constructed product. I received my order yesterday and put it to use. The lights come individually fit inside padded sleeves inside a thick paper box and each light has a fabric loop attached so you can affix it to a keychain or hang from a hook. Unlike several other brands I have tried the sleeve for the batteries is designed to allow the unit to easily slide in and out. Other brands I have are more of a pack and pound where the sleeve and batteries have to be forced into the housing. The threading on the end caps and inside of the light housing are exact and easily screw in and out without any cross treading mishaps. The light is very bright and really lightens up a space instantly. I am very pleased with these mini flashlights and will order more today for stocking stuffers for the family.

Great little LED flashlights

Love these little LED flashlights. I have had them a month now and they all seem to work fine. They are nice and bright. They run off 3 - AAA batteries and you cant beat a 4 pk for a great price. You cannot expect to light up your entire back yard with these, but you can light up a room at night if the power goes out. Switches on the lights seem to be sturdy and cases are aluminum. I would buy these again if/when I need more lights

Great costumer service- good flashlight

All colors arrived, although one flashlight did not work. The three working flashlights were very bright, although the actual flashlight are the size of the palm of ones' hand. The package came with clear information to contact seller if product did not meet expectations. I simply email BYBlight and they sent two replacement flashlights for the one that was not working. Great, easy customer service and must appreciated replacement. I would definitely recommend the product and the company.

Great lights, and great service!

These lights are great! VERY bright, easy to hold (even in your mouth if you're in a very tight spot), and small enough to stash around the house or car where they're close at hand for finding what's under the bed, behind the furnace, or deep in the depths of that dark closet! Our daughter had this flashlight set and my husband asked for the same thing for his birthday. He loved them so much I ordered another set for our grandchildren for Christmas. Sadly, on this third set one light was defective. When I contacted the company they responded within hours, and the entire matter was very satisfactorily resolved by the next morning. Win Win!

This little light of mine...

They seem well made. They are light aluminum, and you must be careful not to cross thread the caps when screwing them on. They are very bright, and small enough to fit nicely in a pocket, purse, or sporran. For sporran wearers, they fit into the piper's pouch on the belt, as well. Many reviewers tell us that some of their lights didn't work. That was my experience, too: I checked all batteries before I installed them, then I installed them, then three of the four flashlights didn't work. So, I removed the batteries in the inoperative units, reseated the batteries in the holder, and reinstalled the battery holder. All of the units now work. It is easy to get those little springs and the nubs on the batteries to be just off enough to cause the flashlight to fail. That is true with any modern battery powered device. So, if they don't work, start over, and make sure all the little contacts are as they should be. I am happy with these little lights. I will edit this review if anything changes.
