This seems to be sturdy. It didn't break when a 90 lb. kid stepped on it. (Although I hope he doesn't repeat that) Excellent for a child looking to protect belongings from a marauding younger sibling.

Purchased these to move items from the shed and garage to our new home. Needed storage and these are working great for us. Sturdy and durable for our use. Very handy having the handle and wheels for when it became heavy. Pulled it right up the ramp of the moving truck and wheeled it off just as easy. We are volunteer missionaries and use these also for when we are moving supplies, tools, and donated items to various locations in the Dominican Republic. Zip ties or locks add additional security during transport. Included photos to gauge how much useable space is inside. ***If you find my review helpful, please hit the “YES” button in response to the question!!***

This is exactly what I was looking for. We needed a foot locker for our son who is a boy scout. Lightweight, durable, has wheels on one side, a place for a lock, and handles. *I was not given a discount or anything for this review, this is my honest opinion.

My boys went to Boy Scout summer camp and had to have a trunk for their junk! LOL This was a great trunk for their trip and held up well. It has holes in it to put the pad lock on to keep others out. It's sturdy and well made. They'll be able to use it for future Boy Scout camping trips.

I bought this product to ship lots of heavy and some breakable items cross country. It held much more than I imagined, closed easily, and was very very sturdy. It was easy to carry and arrived in perfect shape. I now use it to store winter clothes and coats and it fits well in the bottom of a standard sized coat closet. I believe it was very well made and would buy it again in a second if I needed another.

These were suggested by the school to help move into the dorms. Two boxes are far cheaper than luggage and hold way more, making for fewer total trips between the car and the room. These two boxes basically held everything needed for a freshmen and made us question anything else that did not fit, making them sort of self limiting too. In the end, my son managed to consolidate everything he needed into these two boxes plus a carry-on size rolling luggage for long weekends home and his computer backpack. BTW, make no mistake, these boxes are very large. We could only load one box in the back of the midsized SUV and one had to go outside on the hitch mounted luggage carrier. It fits width wise perfectly on the (length?) of the carrier and still allows (just) the hatch to open normally without obstructing the license plate or the rear lights and leaves room sideways for more stuff on the carrier, though they are too big to both fit side to side on one carrier. They nest together perfectly, but even then, they are still too big to leave in the dorm room, so plan on taking them back home with you unless the dorm has storage somewhere outside the room. Overall, a good call by the school and very happy with these. Will need to find space to store them for the rest of the school year until he comes home next summer, but then that's what his vacated bedroom is for right?

What caught my eye about this item was the color, black. Then I saw it had wheels which lead me to believe that this would be a heavy duty item that could handle storing many, if not all, of my tools, power tools etc. Since I was moving. The bonus for me was the the lids and box were made so that I could lock them up with padlocks for security. The handle and wheels will make it easier to load and unload from the moving truck. Highly recommended.

While I agree with some of the other reviews that these shouldn't be called heavy duty, they do a great job at 100 lbs or less. We used them for moving stuff from one house to another and then used them to store things after the move. The wheels are amazing and these things made moving a breeze. They are also stackable so take up very little room in the garage.

I'm moving out soon, so I needed to buy some plastic box or tote. I had bad experience with cheap tote before. This time I actually researched which product will be durable and last long. Because I wanted to use it after moving. It came up Rubbermaid or Sterilite. So I dig deeper, seems like Rubbermaid isn't durable and last long as Sterilite. At the same time, Rubbermaid is more expensive than Sterilite. I was looking at both Industrail Tote. Rubbermaid's tote is 35 gal or 48 gal (which too big for me) and more than $70 for one. Luckily I could look this products at local store, but it wasn't square, more like narrowed square. I only could check out small version of Sterilite's tote. I liked it better because the box is more square than Rubbermaid. So I order this Sterilite tote. I glad I did. This product is something that I was looking for. It seems really very good quality. What I really like is that it has handle and wheels, so I can easily moving around. On concern is I can’t buy just one. Where I live, most store does’t carry this products. Even Target doesn’t carry this 40 gal tote. I had to buy two of tote even I might not needed. Btw, don’t give me wrong, I believe that Rubbermaid and Sterilite are great products and pretty sure both totes are durable and last long. Most likely it’s about design and price. Overall, I recommend this product. It is about $25 or less for each. You won’t regret it. Rubbermaid tote that I was looking at. http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-1172-ActionPacker-Storage-Gallon/dp/B00002N6SQ/ref=sr_1_15?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1449078199&sr=1-15&keywords=rubbermaid

I bought this item to replace and upgrade a set of slightly smaller Rubbermaid bins. These are approximately the same wall thickness and overall strength. That is to say they are sturdy but flex slightly. (this is not a Pelican case with it attendant weight and cost). Its feature set is killer: - Great handle that limits bending over. - "c" shaped clamps that snap shut and hold the lid tightly - two small, wide recessed wheels are protected from impacts and ease mobility - four holes accept locks or bungee hook tiedown hooks - three pairs of recesses in the top retain straps. - relatively vertical sides are efficient with space (vs. Plano sportsmans' locker). - recessed lid accepts stacking Cons: - recessed lid will collect rainwater - somewhat thin walls make this less durable than, say, a Frontrunner crate or pelican case I believe that these could be roof mountable to a cage or slat rack if tied down well. This is great for organizing stuff for ease of moving . I'm using it for bulky car camping stuff like sleeping bags and pads. Will get more to organize other stuff that needs to be moved around. Its storage oriented but allows for efficient and secure transport.
