Momentary rocker switch for winch install. I installed a winch on my rzr and used this to put the switch in the cab and keep the factory look. You can wire this diffenent ways. The directions included have the switch LEDs off, unless the switch is operated. I wanted the blue LED constantly lit so I wired it differently. I attached pix of two different ways for each option. To get the blue LED constantly on, get your keyed 12 volts to posts 1,2,3&5. The small leads from the solinoid go to 4 and 6 and ground terminal 7. This will keep the switch illuminated anytime the key is powered on. If you only want the switch illuminated when pressed, I included a pic of that wiring as well. Overall, works well and gave me the look I wanted.

I was a little concerned about the reviews I saw after buying it. Instructions aren't that great, but if you want the switch to be lit wire 1 & 3 to your acc or ignition this will light the whole switch when key is on. 2&5 to + on battery, and 4&6 to your winch. 7 to ground and it is a momentary switch. I tested it off the vehicle and everything worked as expected.

I only use mic tuning switches. They are great, this one is no different. I am not sure why people have an issue with the lights not being on, or others that open it up and soder connections. It is very earsy to wire. You wire all the pins on the left together and the 3rd from the top, they all just go to a.n ignition wire. You can do it with the jumpers they supply. Very easy.

Works perfect. Fits perfect. Not the best directions, but easy to figure out. I won't say installation is easy because getting these things in and out of the dashboard takes a little patience. However, has nothing to do with the product... I would buy more if I needed them and so far there is no problems. I HIGHLY recommend.

Nice rocker switch that lights blue when switch is on. I used this to replace the handle bar switch that came with my winch kit. I wired it to a superwinch on a Polaris Ranger 570. The included instructions were not much help. My instructions were for wiring multiple sets of lights. Some reviewers say that this is not a momentary switch. The switch I got was. It only operates when you are pressing the button which is what you want on a winch. Some also said teh light do not work. If wired properly the lights on the switch will work. Below are the steps I did to get the switch to operate and light up. The pens/blades on the back of the switch are numbered 1 thru 7. * 1 & 3 should be wired to the ignition/acessary. There is an easily accessible wiring block under the hood of my ranger that is hot when the key is on. I used that. This allows the winch to operate when the Polaris key switch is on. Rocker switch lights also come on when the ignition is turned on. I used the pigtail included with the rocker switch so you only have to run one wire to the ignition/acc. * 2 & 5 can be wired directly to the battery if you want the winch to operate when the switch is off, I used the pigtail here too. * 4 and 6 should be wired to the winch solenoid. One of the blades is for winch in and the other for winch out. I did NOT use the pigtail here because each blade needs to wired to the solenoid separately. * 7 is the for ground. I grounded to the vehicle frame. Using this wiring the winch operates properly in and out, The blue lights come on when the key is on. Here is go

Wired it up so it would stay lit up all the time as long as the key was on. Will attach a picture I found online that shows wiring diagram that works! Matches the rest of my gauges on my rzr!

I used for a warn 3500-s pro advantage on a 2018 Polaris rzr XP 1000. I wanted my lights on when key was on so I jumped the pins together on side the doesn't have the ground and the middle on the side that does then hooked that up to accept. Then hooked wench up with the other side. Works great

So far this switch is working very good with my winch for my snowplow on my Polaris Ranger. The instructions are not the best but I e-mail the switch company and they were very good at helping me so I got it wired right.

Nice switch. Installed on 2014 Polaris Ranger XP 900 for Harbor Freight Badlands winch. Works great

Easy installation. Good instructions. This winch switch is just like the over priced oem from Polaris. Despite what other reviews say this is a momentary switch. It lights up only when in use. Installed in 2018 Polaris Ranger 900xp
