Though I have not used them in a real life situation (and I hope I never have to) I did play with them to make sure everything was good. Upon opening, one of the "legs" wouldn't open and it took me a few seconds to figure out why - when opening there was a little play in it so it was hitting on the middle "leg" you have to apply a little bit of pressure to the top of the "leg" as you open so it clears it.. After I figured that out it was a breeze to open it and discovered it seems to need the little bit of play to snap everything together. They are very bright and seem to be very stable when fully deployed- make sure you turn the reflectors so you're making a cross pattern for stability.. They come in a bright red case with a handle which is real nice to be able to tote around and grab from where ever your store them in the vehicle. Overall feels like a quality product. When you get them, please be sure to open them up BEFORE you actually need them so you're not fumbling with them on the side of the road.

Did a great job when we needed them. Alone A busy 70mph interstate. UPDATE : We literally forgot, and left these sitting open outside next to the trailer for 10 months. A water bottle, and soda can laying next to then we're faded and deteriorated. These were unfaded and still flexible. After a quick rinse to remove the algea and leaf sludge the box and reflectors looked almost new again.

Something you hope you'll never need, but if/when you do, you'll be glad you had such a competent road safety measure. Not too long ago, I was driving along a major interstate in the mountains at night and suddenly, directly in front me, a travel trailer with a flat tire was stopped at the entrance to a bridge - sticking out into the traffic lane. No advance warning of any kind. Just a dim parking light from the tow vehicle. I was astonished that the driver didn't have road flares out or something to warn the oncoming 70 MPH vehicles that he was partially blocking the right lane. This was just ridiculously unsafe. The driver should have had these reflective triangles and deployed them properly. These reflectors are well made and are of rugged duty quality. If you tow a trailer or operate a commercial vehicle (or just want to be prepared), this is this is a must have for your rig.

I like: 1) Arrived as described. 2) Very reflective. 3) Weighted bottom so it doesn’t blow over easily. 4) Folds to a compact shape. 5) The plastic case can protect from product flying out during a car accident or can be used for other storage. 6) Thank you card with contact information. 7) Warning Triangles are helpful during personal use while changing tires, business and commercial use vehicles, Church and other events to designate parking spots. I did not like: No directions on how to fold the triangle. My Better half has cataracts and became frustrated trying to fold the triangle into shape. Simple step-by step directions would have been helpful. As for myself, I easily unfolded the triangle and will set up the Warning Triangles faster the next time I need to use them. During car camping, these Warning Triangles will create a barrier to hopefully prevent people from driving so close to my vehicle in certain car camping locations. I purchased two cases of these Warning Triangles making sure each family member has at least one Warning Triangle that are stored where they don’t become a projectile in case of a crash or sudden stop. Thank you for reading this review. I hope you found the review and photos helpful.

Bought this for my son who goes to college out of state and has a long drive home. Sadly, this purchase was prompted by recent death of a neighbor whose car was stopped on highway, and then struck by another car while waiting for help. These may not save your life, but I am hoping they give you a better chance. They are very heavy, which is good...they should stand up on their own under most conditions. Easy to put up. Will be buying another set for each of our vehicles.

My wife's car broke down on an overpass, and while the policeman was kind enough to use two flairs, it took ninety ####ing minutes for AAA to get a tow truck out to us. I checked out LED lights, but it seems all of them in this generation have their problems, battery life, but the greatest problem being a lack of visibility during a sunny day. Receiving our first order, I was SURPRISED at how HEAVY this package is. Nice carrying case does the job. They are weighted by a black sand in the base. Take them out and get familiar with how they work as you don't want to learn under pressure. After my wife's car problem, I bought a set for her car, then seeing another person changing a tire on the road, I realized how much better I'd feel knowing I also had a set. YOU NEED ALL THREE. If on a highway, you should put one 10 feet behind you, and another farther back. If you're on a tight road, you'll need the third for warning the other side coming on, or... put the third on your roof. I consider these as important as a first aid kit in your trunk. I would have used these more often than I've used the first aid kit.

The 3 triangles in the case weigh 9.4 pounds. That's 3 pounds + per triangle. Unlike other lightweight products, these will stand up in the wind. The case is light but strong and the latches stay tight yet very easy to pull the case locking latches open. These unfold very very easily, even a weak child with arthritis could do it. It took me 3 minutes to figure it out. Look for the small metal round circular surfaces. These are the hinge pins. The opposite end of the arm is where you grasp to pull it up so that it pivots on that hinge pin. Once you know that even the klutziest invalid can open this with ease. With two fingers the force required is so small, it all is very smooth to and the two arms butt up on the ends to form a lock. Once you see how to do it, you won't forget how. There is nothing else to learn how to do, they replace in the box so fast and easy that anyone with the IQ of a grapefruit can figure out. Look before you first remove them from the case. See how the two outer triangles are faced up and center triangle faced down? Good, then you are not a grapefruit brain and will never have the slightest problem of stowing them back in the carrying case in under 10 seconds or less. That is 10 seconds after you refolded the arms and are ready to replace them. Lugging 9.4 pounds back to the trunk is the only thing that takes any effort. I would rate these six stars if Amazon let me. The only thing to realize is that 9.4 pounds is not very light. If you are crippled in the arms or injured moving and carrying the case full of 3 triangles may be difficult. This is one of the few products ever purchased that is fully satisfying, easy to use, will last forever.

These are one of those things you buy that you hope you never need. We got another set of these for our horse trailer. They come in a handy case. They are easy to pivot and pop up and stow away.

The reflectors as well as the case are made from the cheapest, thinnest plastic imaginable, so don't let them knock around in your trunk. But consider that they will typically be used only once or twice at most in many years --they should stand up to that. Cheap is good here because they are often forgotten on the highway after being set out. These have a weighted base for wind-resistance (per DOT requirement), unlike some other models. I bought two sets and I may purchase another. As others have mentioned, check them out for damage in shipment and practice unfolding and stowing; it should be done without breaking anything.

We decided it was a good idea to have some emergency cones AFTER our truck broke down hauling our travel trailer.... I’m hoping we never need them again, but these will be great. They are weighted well, they’re a little tricky to get together the first time, but once you see how they’re folded it’s a snap.they are very sturdy as well.
