I bought an Elna press and have been using it about a month but I was not as comfortable with it because it dosent have a stand. As I looked at what is available online I thought the 5 pronged foot base on this model offered more security than the foldable easel type stands that have a tendency to be iffy with the weight of the press and overhanging garment material. It also offers height adjustment; so that's a nice feature! It arrived today and it's much sturdier than it looks in the listing. It will not tilt over on any side at all weather I try it on carpet or flooring. It went together in 3 minutes with no need for tools. Honestly it took longer to open the box than to assemble. This stand is specific to the Reliable Aria press, and comes with a key-like bolt that secures the press to the stand. My Elna does not have a fitting for the bolt, and I've been using it without. The press is not trying to slip around on the surface, but if you are thinking about using this stand with a press it's not specifically built for you may need to consider that. I'm glad I made the purchase and feel it gives me more manuverability than a table does, and with height adjustment I can choose any position to make the job more comfortable.

Such a great stand for pressor. Would definitely would buy again.

Does not fit my Singer ESP-2. Not sure why this comes up as fitting when i search amazon. $15 mistake. This is, however, a very well built stand even though it is being retured.

This is a great press stand. I had a Singer press that I have had for years and the steam feature quit working. While in the market for a new one, I decided to buy this stand because I was pretty sure I was going to buy the Aria steam press. I received the stand and used it for my Singer. The stand is wonderful. It is height adjustable by a gas strut, similar to what you have on an office chair. The chrome base is better construction than it looks. Very well made and high quality chrome plating and it's a welded, single piece. You basically sit the base on the floor, sit the cylinder into the hole in the stand and then the top part on the top of the cylinder. There is a huge range of travel on this thing. You can lower it all the way down and sit in front it in a kitchen chair, or raise it all the way up and stand in front of it (I use a bar stool) The wire shelf on the front is not bad. It's a bit large, forcing you to be a bit back from the press but it's easily removed. It is nice to have is you're pressing sheets. Not sure I get the point of the other hanging basket, it falls off easy and it's out of hands reach. It raises and lowers easily with the lift of the lever on the right side and with the weight of the press on it, it's easy to lift up and push down to change the height. I did end up buying the Aria 200SP steam press which turned out to be a huge disappointment. You can see my review on the product here on Amazon. The stand I think you can probably use for just about any press. It's is designed to fit the Aria (even has a large bolt to attach the press with) but even with my old Singer, it worked well because the surface is large. After seeing other press stands, and people complaining about the height being wrong, this one might be the answer. Keep in mind though, it's pretty large and isn't designed to be taken apart every time you use it (although you can) I might pop a quick video on here later to demo how it works.
