I love this outdoor gas fire pit
I love this outdoor gas fire pit. It does not provide much heat, but for hot summer days it is perfect. Everyone is drawn to it. We have already enjoyed many summer nights using this fire pit. It is beautiful. I replaced the rocks with white glass beads for my own personal touch. I purchased this for about $200. Awesome for the price I hope it holds up. We are taking very good care of it so it lasts. We did not have any problems with installing this product. Being able to flip a switch and have an instant evening ambiance is sweet!

So much for such a reasonable price!!
Read everyone's reviews and tips so assembly and initial ignition were easy. Tip to depress the ignition button for 30 or so seconds before igniting was especially helpful and did not cause panic! Added fire glass and just love the look and ambiance without the fuss!! So many compliments already as we sit out by the pool and pond. And now looking forward to s'mores with the little ones! Will be putting on wheels as one reviewer did to help move it wherever the party is in our backyard! Just love it after putting it together the afternoon it arrived and then sitting out each evening with a glass of wine! ❤❤❤

Beautiful! We get loads of compliments
Beautiful! We get loads of compliments! It was a bit challenging to assemble in that there are many little screws and we couldn't use an electric drill because of the angles. Took about an hour to assemble... but you only have to do that once and then you get to enjoy it! The top is nice looking thick tile. The size of the flame is easily controlled and really puts out some warmth. For that it's not ideal to place cold drinks on the table portion. Perfect height as a centerpiece to our outdoor sofa set. It looks more expensive than it was which is always a nice plus! Would definitely recommend!

Great fire feature!
I love this fire table! I would estimate running time to be 15-20 hours on a standard grill-size propane tank. Assembly was easy - took 45 minutes and I did it by myself. Pay attention to where the door goes in relation to the gas controls or you'll have to take it apart and start over. And if you're getting fire glass, get 20#, ten isn't enough.

Beautiful, just as pictured - pay attention to assembly
My 17 year old daughter put it together and noticed something missing from the assembly instructions. When placing the legs on the table, pay close attention to the two legs the door attaches to- the instructions don’t mention them and she put them in the wrong spot the first time. Easy fix, just aggravating. Other than that... delivered in perfect condition. Easy to assemble. Heavy/sturdy construction. Looks great. Works great! Looks exactly as pictured and is a good size. I am now enjoying my evening glass (bottle) of wine by my beautiful fire table.

This is really a great fire pit, especially for the price.
I have had firepits before. Yes, we all had the huge octagonal one from costco. This one is not as large (it's a bit over 30, but that is still a great size to gather and sit drinks or small plates on) but it is nice, solid, and looks great. It came with instructions and I set it up all by myself. One tip though, they tell you to attach the legs but don't tell you two are different. As the Slate top is UPSIDE DOWN on a soft carpet spin it so the lighting switch is facing you. On the corner to your right attach the leg that has the magnet and on your corner to the left attach the leg that has two small welded 'holes' jutting out. Not a big deal but that tidbit would have saved me about 15 minutes. I built it, put in my propane tank, and lit it. I read the comments here about not staying lit. Here is something I learned a long time ago with propane circles. IF the circle is not warm, it doesn't "draw" the propane into it as easily...so just hold the switch in on high and count to sixty. That is enough time to warm the circle and you shouldn't have any problems after that. I am really pleased about this product.

Love it for some evening patio time
We've used ours a number of times and love it. It's not a source of heat as it doesn't really put out that many BTUs. Picked up some other glass colors for it and my wife loves it. Pros: - Looks really nice and well made - Not too big so nice to gather chairs around Cons: - Igniter doesn't work very well, just use a long lighter to do it NOTE: One trick on lighting is that you need to make sure you turn the dial just to the start spot and hold the dial in

Have to have this
After doing some shopping and looking at reviews, decided on this unit. So far well pleased. It did take about an hour to set up. Heck took 15 minutes to unpack, very nicely boxed. Took some of the tips of other reviewers to set up. Did not use a screw driver,, medium size long shaft phillips. When you do the legs look at them and make sure you put the ones that hold the door in the correct spots. I put all the parts on as suggested, then went back and tightened all the screws. I took a collander and shook out the lava rock.. Not to much dust, and less than 5 little pieces fell through. When I put the rock in the center very few small pieces. The ignitor did light the fire. Second time I used it just took a long handle lighter and lit it. Held the gas down and them put the flame on low. After being on for 30 minutes felt below the firebox and nothing seemed to be getting to hot. So should not be a problem I had read about other pits in which the heat from the firebox actually melted some lines. I may switch over to fire glass later, righ now happy with the lave rock. I will take out one of the adjustable legs and replace it with casters next time I head to the hardware store.. Will post a pic later of that. Should be easy to take out the stand and take it with me. Very please with this purchase.. ADDED LATER,, went to the local Home Depot no luck on the casters,, went back to the page for the pit found someone who posted casters they had purchased..https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074M64TWP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 copied and pasted found them... very nice UPDATE 12/10 received the caster wheels, took out the level feet, no problem, the new wheels do go in counter clock. Comes with a small wrench, used my own 1/2 wrench, worked better. No problem putting them on. After putting all the wheels on moved the pit around with no problem.. My patio is shale so is not smooth. Do not plan on moving it that much anyway, but to get it out of the way works great. Will also move it very slow as not to strees the wheels, since they are plastic. Very pleased.

Great addition to our deck.
This went together very easily it just took a little time. I used the star fire glass in Caribbean Blue that I bought on this site. The starter works very easily and the unit is sturdy and works beautifully !! We love it !! Would highly recommend this reasonable quality unit!!

Easy to assemble and aesthetically pleasing!
My wife had been wanting a gas fire pit for a while, so when I saw this as deal of the day I knew I had to get it for her. Assembly was quite easy actually. The only tool you need is a screwdriver. If you have another person to help hold things in place, it will make assembly go faster. Mine arrived in great condition with no blemishes, cracks, etc. The only difficulty I had was in getting it to light for the first time. It took a good minute of holding the knob in on HIGH for there to finally be a flame. One thing to note. With my barbecue grill I like to "bleed the line" of any gas before shutting it down and covering. In other words, I'll turn the burners off and then the propane off, then restart the grill with propane turned off. This gets rid of any residual gas in the line. I did the same here and it caused the flames to flash out. Perhaps this is because it's new, but I may just have to live with some gas left in the line. Be careful. Overall it's a great fire pit and if you get it on sale it's fantastic!
