I needed something to remove the goo left over from a decal removal on my truck. I used a number of chemicals, and a magic eraser. Nothing touched it. I wound up ordering the eraser wheel based on a Tacomaworld forum suggestion. It's made out of a similar material to a kids gummy art eraser, which made me wonder if one of those wouldn't work for a smaller project. While the wheel's learning curve is short, it is pronounced. I managed to cook off a 1/3" circle of paint before I got the technique down. The passenger side of the truck was completed in a few minutes, once I knew what to do. For my application, which was purely goo removal, and not decal, I would suggest the following: · I used it on the #2 setting on a Dewalt cordless to prevent cooking, and wheel explosion · Keep it moving. If it sits in one spot too long it gets hot, and it is good-bye paint · Do not push too hard, or it is good-bye paint · Have a soft cloth handy to wipe eraser dust away to gauge progress · Keep the wheel square to the body of the vehicle · Wear eye protection. Amazon reviews show a number of exploded wheel pictures · The sticky goo that was dirty was easier to remove because I could see it better. One side of the truck was clean of dirt due to my attempts to remove the goo with cleaners. I wound up doing it at night with a flashlight and found the mess easier to see. In closing, take your time, don’t be an a$$hole like me, and you should be fine.

I have a 2007 Jeep Liberty that I bought used a few years ago. It came with factory pinstripes that, at the time, were in good shape. Over the years the pinstripes started to flake off, leaving bare spots of adhesive behind. It looked AWFUL. After lots of research, my jeep friends highly recommended to use an eraser wheel. I purchased it Friday night and received it Sunday morning to start my project. I used my dad's electric drill, started sanding and it was amazing how easily the pinstripes came off! Between sections I would wipe the shavings away and remove anything leftover with my Turtle Wax brand label and sticker remover. The job itself took about an hour and a half, but that is including cleanup which I spent a lot of time on. Once it was completed, everyone couldn't believe how nice my Jeep looked and how easy the job was. I could still use my wheel for additional jobs if needed! I am so so happy with this wheel.... literally one of the best purchases I've ever made. No need to buy the 3M brand wheel for almost $50. This one is phenomenal. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making my Jeep look new again.

I had 15 year-old ugly, deteriorated pinstriping to remove from the length of a Jeep Cherokee...four double-lines of fossilized adhesive that actually protruded from the surface 1/16" or more along their entire run. I had experts suggest a heat gun, razoring, etc -- which in retrospect seems comical; that's how impossible this task seemed at the outset.. This little wheel did the job -- just the right size, too, for attacking 1/4" & 1/2" striping positioned near a vehicle's body contours. And it was an attack -- the remnants of these stripes had hardened like cement -- there would have been no other (layman's) method to get back down to clean surface. Your pinstripes may be younger and your process a little easier -- mine were like granite -- now, remarkably, I have fresh, clean, unmarred metal ready to be re-striped. In my case, a very slight shadow does remain -- but I could get away with leaving just the paint exposed. Wear a dust mask & expect to make a fair mess, but once you have technique, this drill attachment tool delivers.

It was a little touch and go at first. The wheels griped the adhesive and jerked the drill in in my hands. I was removing 3M double sided adhesive tape left after removal of a trunk spoiler on my white mercedes. Having a white trunk lid with burn marks was not what I wanted. The product worked just as the people using it on YouTube showed. After the foam and adhesive is removed use a little of that orange adhesive remover and all is well. I've removed items like this in the past and this took the job from 2 hours to 30 minutes.

This is an amazing product. It truly is a miracle! Wish I knew about it years ago. Can't say how many times I struggled to remove adhesive from a car and ended up scratching the paint. Don't waste your time using razor blades and scratching your paint; your fingers and getting blisters, your finger nails and breaking a nail; a heat gun and burning yourself; or Goo Gone and making a mess! What would have taken me hours to do in the past using the above mentioned methods, I was able to get the work done in 5 minutes! And the results were amazing. No double sided tape adhesive remaining and not a scratch! Buy this right now if you ever plan on removing vinyl decals or 3M double sided adhesive. You will thank yourself later. This eraser wheel basically works by creating friction and generating heat. It is no different then if you took a heat gun to the adhesive and tried to rub it off with your finger. This is just WAY more effective and effortless. Attach the wheel to your drill, put it on high speed, and apply medium to light pressure to the adhesive you want to remove. You will witness the adhesive being removed with ease! I am sure this is comparable to the 3M eraser/stripe off wheel but it was half the price. Glad I went with this. Saved me money and a lot of work. Take a look at the pictures of the Whizzy Wheel's work! Also, after removing the adhesive with the Eraser Wheel, I went over the area with Goo Gone to give it a good final clean.

I saw this product used on a skoolie conversion video on YouTube. They were using it to remove the old reflective tape around the emergency exit on the roof of the bus. At first I did not fully appreciate the degree of success they enjoyed. However, after I got my Wonder Wheel and used it to also remove the old reflective tape around the roof emergency exit on my bus, I'm a believer. This wheel is great!!! It is perfect for this application and I ordered another one. This wheel is pretty much functions like a pencil eraser. The wheel erases the old tape and tape residue but it is consumed in the process. Just like a pencil eraser when you erase marking on a paper it creates erasure shavings. GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2018 Jeep Grand Jerokee Limited. Wanted to take off Grand Jerokee emblems to put side moldings on. Molding came off easy with fishing line but left most of the adhesive, tried everything goo gone, plastic scraper, hair dryer and scraper, razor with windex, even tried tar and wax remover. After a hour or so I gave up and went to a auto body shop they told about a wheel that worked great but cost 50 dollars. Well went on Amazon bought this wheel for 11 dollars and in within 5 minutes it was all gone with no paint damage. Stay away from razor...... It was like a miracle remover fast but a little messy. Used drill, you need to play with speeds start slow and work up and make sure you dont stay in one spot very long....

I'm an avid review reader and trusted what I read. Not disappointed. Ordered two knowing that wouldn't be enough to remove all the decals off a '92 RV but have every intention of ordering more as needed. As others have stated, the hardest part is holding the drill for long periods of time. Prior to trying the Wonder Wheel, I bought a heat gun, plastic razor blades and acetone. They're now sitting on the shelf in the garage and I'll be using this product until the job is finished. In the attached photo, there was a giant "Jamboree Rallye" sticker over 2' long. Now it's gone. Very happy I found this item and highly recommend it.

Here are pics of before and after using the whizzy wheel on my 34' RV with fiberglass sides. I used a standard 3/8" drill to accomplish the job...again, works amazing, but to avoid fatigue I recommend using a buffer to do the job. Also, try to play with the rotation speed. I found that a lower speed with a little more pressure was more affective. The higher the speed the more likely the "smear" of the decal. Either way, there was no damage to the surface of the vehicle. Hope this info helps you finish your job....

This thing is literally AMAZING! I purchased a 1996 Toyota Tacoma with the factory sticker on both sides. I researched many ways to remove this factory sticker that was peeling and flaking. Along comes the Whizzy Wheel! It completely removed both stickers from the sides of my vehicle and after a quick wipe with a bit of Orange Cleaner, it looked as good as new. Make sure you use an ELECTRIC drill and not a cordless. You need the extra RPM's for the wheel to work properly. The video with this purchase is invaluable to the correct usage. My stickers had been on for over 20 years and did require a bit of patience to remove. But slow and steady wins the race! Also, wear a dust mask! This thing puts out quite a bit of tiny rubber bits almost like a pencil eraser. Just like a pencil eraser, the Wizzy Wheel has a limited life space. This is indicated by a line on the wheel that suggests it's about time to replace. Needless to say, I removed both stickers down the length of my truck and I still have well over 30% of the rubber left! I also bared down fairly hard in spots and the paint was no more worse for the wear! I also used the Wizzy Wheel to remove the left over sticky mess left after removing the rain window guards from the truck.
