Glass is heavy duty. Quite weighty. Depending on what you put on it... I question the included drywall anchors. I put one screw in a stud, and had some alternate slightly beefier anchors for the second. Plus used some permanent adhesive along the back. It has a nice decorative flare for the rear mounting points that has a huge surface area for an adhesive. I think it's going to work out perfect.

Fairly well priced item, with good quality

Good product, for the price. It is packaged really efficient. I was concerned that it will be flimsy, considering it's under $20. However, so far I am impressed with the quality of the product. The stainless steel part is nice and sturdy and the glass is the right thickness. Before you buy it, make sure you have (or you can borrow) the right tools to help you install the shelf properly: a drill, a hammer, long precision Phillips screwdriver and a slotted screwdriver. Not sure why they opted to use different types of screws for the wall and the glass holding part. Once installed properly the shelf looks really nice. I am considering purchasing a second one for our other bathroom.

Very nice shelf

I bought the 2 tier shelf. I followed the reviewers advice and bought sturdier and longer achors and screws, it did the job! Very pretty shelf, doesn’t look flimsy or cheap, the class panels are sturdy. It’s a bit tricky to put on. Assemble everything except the glass, make sure everything is leveled , then mark out the screw holes while placing shelf on the wall. Screw in the screws a little at a time, to give it a little space to manouver. Make sure the head of your screws don’t get stuck on the lip which supports the glass. Just needs a bit of patience, but end product is great.

Beautiful Shelves

I’ve been looking for some time now on these kind of styles of shelves. Saw the price was only $10.00, so why not give them a try. Glad that I did. The shelves look beautiful, and a perfect size overall. The only slight issue was the metal part. That seem a little cheap in quality. But it does the job.

Terrific and especially at this price!

We just put up two of these shelves in a tile wall in our master bath. They are solidly made and attractive. First I assembled the backing piece, clip, and the surround on both ends of the surround. Use the counter-sunk hole for this. Then I measured, drilled into the grout lines with a small and then larger carbide tip drill bit, and, we put up the brackets. I used my own really small plastic anchors but used their flat head screws. (I’ve had bad luck with the style anchor that’s included - but that’s my walls!). I imagine it would be even easier with wallboard. Secure the glass and you’re done.

Excellent product

I had no trouble installing this product and it is serving me well. -- I very much recommend you use robust screw anchors to hold this flatly and firmly to the wall! I generally use the following product to fasten items to my walls and recommend them. -- TOGGLER. Liked it so well, my husband asked for another one

I order this to replace a longer small shelf that I didn't have room for after our bathroom remodel. The glass was surprisingly heavy and the way that it is mounted, in my opinion, will make it more stable than many other shelves of this kind. Installation directions could be a little clearer but I am very happy with the purchase.

It looks very nice in my bathroom. I mounted the Aluminum Glass Shelf onto my vanity giving me more room which I badly needed.

Beautiful shelving, but challenging.

I'm giving this a 5 star rating because once I finally got it mounted on the wall it looks very nice. I'm a very good mechanic but this was a challenge because it's somewhat flexible, so once the frame is put together you have to place it against the wall and mark for your sheet rock screws and the flexibility becomes an issue---so be careful. You have to guess at the drill size because there is no drill. The backing plates are shown in the diagram as short pieces and should have wavy lines indicating the pieces are longer. But like it mentioned, once I got it mounted on the wall It's really nice.
