A Tad Greasy, But Very Tasty, And A True Bargain As Beef Snacks Go..

These are not the best beef snack you can buy, but it sure is a bargain. I actually like good beef jerky better. But a look around Amazon tells me that somewhere along the line they must have begun including a chunk of uranium in every package. For it sure has gotten expensive. The sticks are like slim jims, only fatter around and a little greasier. But not so much that they should upset ones stomach, or stain your hands like pepperoni. The taste of them is very good, no smokiness, but just the right amount of salt and pepper added. For someone who loves beef, and or all manner of beef snacks, these really satisfy a craving without breaking your wallet. They really are a bargain compared to many beef snacks on Amazon. Also, though some other reviewers have spoken of boiling them, baking them to get rid of some of the grease, etc, there is no such doings going on here. These may be greasier than jerky, but far from needing any tending too that way in my opinion. Right out of the container and enjoy is the way it is around here... In conclusion, there has been some talk about the way these are packaged. Each container comes with two packs with about 14 sticks each. once opened they can't be resealed. But that is no concern of mine. One being that unless you are going to have these hanging around for a week or more, the container itself is tight enough for me to keep them fresh. (And trust me, one container never makes it a week here). Also, it would be a real pain to have to tear open one of those tight sleeves that sticks like this in the stores come in every time you want one. I prefer them being loose. All in all a darn good and tasty stick of beef that may be a little greasier than most, but well worth the price they are asking...Recommended.. : )

Refrigeration required!

Tasty and delicious, Must be refrigerated!!! Only complaint. Was expecting something for on the go. And this had to stay home on my drive from Oregon to Illinois.

Tasty

These are so tasty! My husband and I love having meat snacks around the house, and these are great! They’re not overly dry, and they have good flavor. I will definitely purchase these again! We have purchased several Old Wisconsin products, and are never disappointed.

Not a fan

I bought these to be shared office snacks. They're not individually wrapped so that didn't work. I took them home and ate them instead. They're super greasy and make the inside of my mouth slick. Also they don't taste good.

Great tasting and great price

These are delicious. I like Jacks Links and Slim Jims but these are better. They do NOT taste greasy as one person said. The sugar is almost non-existent or I wouldn't buy it. No MSG or gluten but does contain Nitrites as a preservative. It's not health food, just don't make them the mainstay of your diet. The plastic can they come in has an airtight lid. My can had a hole punctured in it. I put a little tape over it. They come in 2 paks not resealable. The easy solution is put them in a Glad resealable zip lock bag or if you have a vacuum sealer, use it. I think you can freeze but have not tried it. Seems like they last for months in the fridge where you have to store them. I am ordering more.

Same great Old Wisconsin flavor

We would have much preferred individually packaged sticks, especially considering they're more expensive than the regular packages. The flavor was on par with what we're used to and it was nice to not have to find space in a cooler for a larger open bag.

Tremendous flavor

Everybody’s tastes are different. You may like broccoli, I do not! In my opinion, these are the best tasting meat sticks on the market! Tremendous flavor without heat or spicyness. Arrived fresh! Can’t keep these in the house. Comes with convenient container to store an open package.

Yum!

These a really good! Not badly priced. I wanted these to take with me to work to snack on since I'm trying to cut down on calories and this does the trick on my lunch break! Once opened it says you do have to refrigerate since they are packed together not individually.

Love These Meat Sticks!

These disappeared as soon as I put them in the kitchen pantry. None of the kids admit to eating them. The investigation is still pending...
