Accusize cuts it!

This was purchased as a gift. My fiancé is a hobby machinist, he uses this on his smaller mill and has commented regularly on the quality and durability. I’ve asked him for details and he said on his smaller mill, 1 inch is the max it can handle, it’s great at roughing. He’s used it on stainless, cast iron and regular steel and it shows no signs of wear. He said it required no oil/lube to make clean cuts. Very satisfied with the purchase and we have since ordered several other Accusize end mills in additional sizes.

Excellent, both the cobalt material and the grooved surface it leaves. My favorite milling bit.

This is my favorite milling bit. It is cobalt not carbide so it does not chip easily, but is tougher than HSS. Of course it does not make a smooth finish when used for side cutting (can also be used for end facing), but I like the ridged surface, it makes pretty parts. The grooved surface is a lot smoother than the grooves on the cutter because the cutter grooves are alternately aligned so one edge cuts off what the other leaves, to a large extent.

Had a lot of doubts getting this since the price was so good for an end mill for my mini mill. This thing cuts aluminum and steel with no problem, it's like a 1000C° knife vs butter youtube video. This is awesome for hoggin out material.

Cuts steel like a hot tank through butter with the ease and precision of my ex-wife's plastic surgeon and the subtlety of my humor. But really good end mill super stoked, top notch performance just like my ex-wife, may she burn in h... Jk 😉

Porn for mini-mill!

Aluminum cutting on mini-mill. Awesomeness, really hogs out the material without putting a load on the machine. Cut my work time in half. Will be getting a complete set.

Excellent

This end mill is worth its weight in gold. Takes a lot of material in each pass yet leaves an acceptable surface for most things. End milling is just plain nice and side milling leaves parallel grooves which may not be a problem but can always be cleaned up with a finish pass using another end mill. Plenty tough too.
