Consistent Temperatures

Purchased this in July 2016 and has worked very well since. I was a bit nervous buying a wine fridge considering almost every fridge has really mixed reviews. Temperature consistently stays within 52-62 degrees F. Overall great purchase if you are looking for a 50 bottle cooler. As other reviews might have mentioned, and what is the same issues with most wine fridges this size is that some bottles are a bit too thick to fit within the shelves. You just have to fit those on the lowest shelf. Would highly recommend.

Very quiet - ample storage - consistent temperature - excellent value

I am amazed how quiet this cooler is. It keeps my red wines at perfect cellar temperature - you can edjust easily if you prefer cooler or warmer. It came sent free and was obviously packed with care. Excellent price...my previous cooler was 2x the price and sounded like a jet engine.

Time will tell, but thus far this is a great purchase!

Two weeks thus far, no issues. This unit replaced a previous compressor-less type, a design which has not had a stellar track record in this household. (thermo-electric) Delivered by FedEx to the front porch, the shipping carton looked a little beat up, but no damage to the refrigerator. It is packaged on a small wood pallet and protected with styrofoam inserts, wrapped in a rather flimsy cardboard 'box' and banded. After unpacking it on the porch, I successfully carried it into the house by myself after removing the glass door. (the door is rather heavy, and I wanted to avoid potentially breaking the glass... and removing it also made the rest of the refrigerator much lighter and easier to handle by just one person.) Followed the instructions to let it sit a couple of hours, to ensure the coolant resettled properly. Leveled, reattached the door, installed the handle, plugged it in. Very quiet compressor, can barely hear it while sitting only about 10 feet away. Husband quite pleased with the operation and storage capacity. We stored large (Costco-size jumbo bottles of Kirkland cabernet) bottles on the inside bottom, parallel to the door. Since he drinks most cabernet, the majority of his bottles fit the storage racks without issue. Alternate the direction of your bottles ('head' first/'feet' first) for maximum use of space. Have owned this just a few weeks now, hopefully it will last a long time. Also purchased the extended warranty available from Amazon. Will followup this review if/when problems arise. After extensive research, this was the best-reviewed, lowest-price unit I could find, after spending many hours over multiple days scouring dozens of websites and review pages. Doesn't take up a lot of room in the small space we have devoted to wine storage, attractively designed, easily leveled with the adjustable feet, and functions flawlessly. Highly recommend!

Well packaged and super quiet.

The wine cooler showed up with some of the most protective packaging I have seen. It is virtually silent and keeps the wine at a perfect temperature. The shelves will accommodate bottles of a range of sizes. Most of the shelves stack 2 deep to get the capacity over 40 bottles. We also like the soft blue lighting.

Excellent Wine Cooler

After we plugged in our Kalamera Wine Cooler and filled it with wine, I had to put my ear up to it because it was so QUIET! Very pleased with the clean lines, attractive handle and front. Nice natural wood shelving. Got 40 bottles in and it is full. Checked the temp we set the wine cooler at with my refrigerator thermometer and it was right on. Well balanced. No vibration, no noise. Very very happy with this and would recommend to anyone.

Attractive and able to fit 42 bottles

Having read the reviews, I knew this refrigerator was unlikely to fit 50 bottles unless they were all small red wines. This seems to be an issue on all the reviews for all the wine refrigerators. I easily fit 42 bottles with at least 10 larger bottles in the mix. The refrig was easy to assemble and attractive to look at. It is not noisy and cooled quickly. I am excited to have a place I can keep all my nicer wine bottles.

I couldn't be happier with my 50 bottle Kalamera wine cooler

I couldn't be happier with my 50 bottle Kalamera wine cooler. I have a Viking wine cooler that costs 8x more and this one is every bit as good. The temperature stays perfect all the time. The only minor drawback is that the shelves are about 1/2" too close together.

Met my expectations

Shopping for a replacement wine refrigerator was nerve racking. This Kalamera 50 seemed to fit my needs but some of the negative reviews gave me second thoughts. Then I noticed that the majority of these seemed to be related to receiving a damaged product. I decided to take my chances (considering Amazon's return policies). Mine arrived here with the wooden pallet substantially destroyed in transit, but the box in good shape. The fridge itself was also fine and is working great.
