No Fan Noise, Silent Running.
My new truck has no cd player, too much trouble and expense to put one in so I bought a Sony boombox. My old inverter has a LOUD fan so after reading feedback on this Energizer inverter and going to their site I learned that it has no fan but a sophisticated heat sink and produces no noise at all so I ordered one and am very happy! No noise, It is completely silent and heavily built and was very inexpensive. Highly recommended by me!

Still works great though. It has had the ability to power ...
It stands straight up or rotates down, I drive a semi, it takes a beating some. The rotating part is getting worn very quickly from all the bouncing on our nations FABULOUS roads.........it slowly works it way to the down position if the jolts and bounces are hard enough. Still works great though. It has had the ability to power a household fan, 14" size which surprised me, on the high setting! Liked it so much, bought a second one of these inverters!

Well built inverter with 2+ year warranty from well know brand
Looks very well build and high quality product. Will write more soon once I install in in my semi-truck. **** Update 1 **** It worked good for about a month under a very low (under 100 Watt) load. I used it couple of times for a few minutes with some 600-800 W load. No problems. I really liked how quiet a cooling fan on this unit is. It is really quiet. Last week something happened, and this inverter started shutting down under 60-70 W load. I mean it just shuts down as if there was no power connected to it. Turning power switch off and on makes it work again, but after 10-15 minutes the same thing happened again. Sometimes it works fine again for a half day... It happened very randomly. Finally, few days ago it started beeping under the same 60-70W load, and displayed "9999 W Overload". After restarting it, it works for 10-15 seconds and it starts beeping again with the same overload message, even thought it still produces enough power to keep my equipment running. After few minutes it started giving a burning smell, and overheated pretty badly. I turned it off and tried it again with no load at all, but it did it again. I hope it is just a defective unit, because I really liked this inverter. Hopefully they will replace it with good one that will last. *** Update 2 *** Received a replacement. Installed, and tested it with a ceramic heater from 800W to 1.5KW load. No problems. Works great. I love it. I really hope this one will last. I will rate it at 5 stars, even though it failed me once...

I love this inverter
I love this inverter, I can power on my window air conditioner and others appliance of my room. Hurricane Maria was horrible, Puerto Rico without power but my inverter just solve my problems of blackouts.

Small and quiet; it does the job.
I bought this inverter to run a very small LCD TV in my RV. For some reason, they gave me a TV with the standard AC plug. This inverter makes it possible to watch TV using the DC power outlet in my camper. The television has a very small power draw. This is quiet and it does the job. Remember: check the wattage of the devices you plan to use with an inverter before choosing an inverter. Although this one runs my little television, it might not run yours.

Buy this over the Duracell inverters
I bought a Duracell inverter similar to this one at Costco originally, and the first time I tried to use it on a camping trip it wouldn't work. I took it back and ordered this Energizer one on Amazon (got a used one from Amazon Warehouse Deals to save a few dollars), and it's worked extremely well so far. I often combine it with my Stanley Fat Max to have portable AC power. I was able to power about 10 strands of Christmas lights for several hours with the Fat Max and this inverter.

Great gadget to have on hand.
I have only plugged the adapter into my cigarette lighter socket for a short while to make sure the electrical outlet and USB ports were working properly. Everything worked just fine. I connected my cell phone to the electrical outlet, and I connected my tablet to the USB port. There were no loud fan noises. I will say the the fit into the cigarette lighter socket was a little snug, and it took a little effort to pull the adapter out, but overall I am pleased with my purchase. I am happy to have a gadget like this one hand. You never know when you will need something like this. I am sure it will be well worth the purchase price whenever it is needed and/or used.

Worked fine right out of the box!
I understand that some products purchased end up DOA.. I hooked my inverter up to a deep cell AGM battery and fired up my freezer - everything worked as expected or as it should have. My chest freezer is in the bed of my truck and it ran about 30 minutes 4 or 5 times without incident. Fans never came on (no way to test until summer when the load will be higher). The voltage on the inverter was around 13.3 DC and 117 AC output with a 300 watt load. No clicking or popping noise and no circuit nannies were tripped. The highest wattage came on a 50 degree day when the compressor first started and hit 580 watts - the real test will be when the temp is 90 degrees in the box and outside. The draw at that time should be much higher. I hooked my meter into the inverter outlet and plugged the freezer into the meter to check total draw; light at the control panel about .5 watts, lifting lid - interior light is 5 watts and everything else is cooling. Amperage draw was typical for a freezer and shouldn't pose any problems. Voltage AC at 117 from inverter was lower than typical household plug's 122, but no noticeable difference in operation was seen. I have some large LED work lights that put a strain on my previous inverter after about an hour of runtime. Will update this review in 6 months. OH!! FYI I did not see a way to discharge this inverter!! So if you disconnect the battery cables at the battery after use ***DO NOT let the + & - cables (connected to inverter) touch each other! Most inverters have capacitors that store power. I have to confess I didn't read the book, so there maybe a grounded connection that solves this ..

Works fine, zero issues
So far zero issues, I'm a trucker so I just use this to power my mini fridge and electric razor. Will update if I have an issues. Also would be able to power my microwave but I don't feel the need to move it to my new truck. Just check your microwave watt usage and don't expect a 1500w inverter to to power a 1,500w microwave plus a fridge and tv and whatever else.

Great for Motorcycle touring!
Fast shipping with Amazon! I bought to plug in my phone in my tour pack on my 2014 HD! It works awesome! My wife keeps her battery packs charged for her heat gear as well! It is a must have for motorcycle touring!
