Oh my! I was so happy to find this candy online - many years ago I discovered this and I hoped to find it once again! I love 'sesame seeds' and of course, I love honey! Together they are so delicious! I love the consistency as well :) I have to hide some because my husband keeps emptying the candy dish every time I refill! :) I love that they are individually wrapped - no stickiness! Oh my!

Beware

You need to have a sheriff with a six gun ready to use and a two ton safe to store these in. Otherwise, there is no way you can eat just one or two or ten. Maybe you can stop at twenty or thirty. But I cant.

Tasty treat for little calories.

Love these! Working perfectly for satisfying my sweet tooth with a couple pieces without the guilt of a lot of sugar or calories. Note: Candy should be stored in bag and bag does need to be kept sealed as the wrappers on the individual pieces is not super tight and the candy does get a little soft if left out in a bowl.

I got this for a training at work that I'd organized - chocolate plus this vegan "healthier" option was the ideal mix :) Crunchy and sweet, what's not to love?!

Reminds me of a childhood favorite though I can't remember the brand but these are good. I wish they were a bit softer more brittle-like.

I will always give this candy 5 stars as it is one of my favorite candies in the world. So yummy and scrumptious every time.

Yummm! These were my husband's favorite candy growing up and we couldn't find them anywhere locally. I ordered the large bag here and surprised my husband with them. The whole family has enjoyed them. Will definitely be repurchasing these!

This brought me back to when I was little kid running to the bodega to buy these.

Delightfully Evoking Precious, Delicious Memories

These candies instantaneously took me back to my childhood, with warm, loving memories of family: specifically of my Sicilian grandmother. My Grandma used to make these (she called them "giugiuline": no clue what that actually means in English; even Google Translate doesn't recognize it). The toasted taste of the savory sesame seeds with the crunchy sweetness of the sugars and honey: it's the perfect candy! These are so fresh, and I'm extremely happy that I purchased these, in spite of the few tears that I shed remembering "the good old days". This is one of my few food memories for which I never got the recipe, so thank you for making these wonderful candies available!! UPDATE: I decided to look up sesame seeds on Wikipedia, and I can't believe what I found!! "Giurgiuleni" or "giuggiuleni" are interchangeable words used in Sicily only, to describe sesame seed treats! I speak Italian, so my spelling of the word was based solely on Italian phonetics: I'm thrilled to know that my grandparents and my dad didn't make that word up!!

My dad used to get these from the gas station for me, it was so nice to have some again! None of them were unwrapped or broken, and the package came unopened. The sesame bars were very yummy, and I'll be getting more of these soon!
