I use this strap with my waterproof phone case when kayaking and it has been perfect! I've had my phone fall in the water several times and this has saved my phone by making recovery super easy. This strap is invaluable because it makes your phone float should it go overboard. Without this thing I would have 3 phones at the bottom of the Mississippi rather than just the 1 I lost before investing in this!

I attached this to my waterproof case on my action camera to ensure that my camera and case would not sink to the bottom of the ocean. The clasp that connects the wrist strap to the case seems very strong and I didn't have any concerns of it breaking. I tested the wrist strap to make sure it would keep my camera afloat and it did exactly that.

Needed to replace a strap I lost on my last tropical vacation, and thought I'd give this a try, despite the fact that the strap is only rated for 7oz (my camera weighs 8oz). Just got this in the mail, and immediately put it to the test, and it works fine with my camera. Actually seems buoyant enough to support at least 10oz. Size is great, feels good, all around good purchase.

Does exactly what it says. I added this strap to my Ricoh WG-20 for a recent set of snorkeling trips. The band provides enough flotation to keep both camera and carabiner afloat easily. That allowed me to clip it to my vest when I wasn't using it and easily grab it when I needed it. The strap is comfortable on your wrist and works for many different size wrists. I was comfortable loaning my camera to a friend's 9yo son and it fit him well. The band also cleans up easily. After diving in salt water, I simply wrung it out, and rinsed a couple of times in fresh water. Wring it out and it will dry very quickly.

Worked well! Didn’t lose my phone but was nervous too because it does only have the one size and it felt like it could easily come off my wrist. Challenge came with the case itself. I went snorkeling and you can only use the side button to take the pictures. Although my screen stayed dry I spent most of the time just trying to get it to work due to the pressure on the screen hitting what ever bottoms it wanted or locking me out.

I love that it's a wrist strap AND a floaty. I much prefer this over the handle type one that GoPro users usually have. However, my SJCAM seems to also float in water regardless of this floaty. Nonetheless, it's a second safeguard against potentially losing my camera and the bright yellow color helps in identifying it in the water.

Perfect for what I wanted it for. The wire and clip portion are great. Stitching is better than some others out there ... No real spots open for fraying. It is just cheap peanut style foam in the strap ... A single 1" rod of it. Also the neoprene is foam backed and extremely thin. It's not the rubber backed body glove style from an actual wetsuit. For the price though I can't hit them on that. It works great.

I tested this on our camera in the swimming pool. Floated just fine. A few years ago, I had the cheap crappy wrist strap that was attached to the camera by default. That that was just fine. However, a quick swing of the arms to snorkel down under the water for some pictures, and SNAP. I caught that camera thank goodness. But, wasn't going to have that happen again. So, I tried this. This snorkeling trip, I was a little worried how loose the wrist band actually was. But once it gets wet, it doesn't slide on your wrist anymore. Was plenty confident, that if it did indeed slip off, it would float. But, it didn't break, and it didn't slip off, so never actually got to see it in action. And that's just fine.

Used it on vacation in the ocean while snorkeling and it was great for keeping my camera from floating off into the depths of the ocean. I got some really great pictures and was able to toss my camera to my husband so he could also take pics because I trusted this floatation device and knew that even though he didn't catch it would float to him and not to the bottom of the ocean. It was a great buy for a great price for me.

I purchased this item for my Panasonic Lumix. My camera weighs 5.1 ounces. The Mudder float worked very well. It's camera strap is very thin and it fit well in the camera housing. While it is thin, it's also very strong. The attachment clip is very convenient. I do not always want (or need) a waterproof strap. So, I attached the strap to the camera along with the strap that came with the Panasonic. I clip and unclip the float to the strap as needed. I like the bright yellow color, which will help me locate the camera if I do lose it. This seems to be a great product offered at a great price. I also received a follow up e-mail from the company offering to assist me if I have any problems. Wow! Great product. Great price and great customer service. Gotta love it!
