Flying high in the sky
For the price this is a really good kite. I live out along the coast of Northern California and we have really good wind here so that may help, but it doesn't take much for this kite to soar into the air. I've had it up to 300 ft and I'm about to get a different kite reeler that goes up to 700 feet. It is my first kite ever and I am enjoying the exercise. Definitely a great bargain for the price. No complaints whatsoever. Solidly built enough to last for a while. Nothing fancy, but it does the job

4-year-old granddaughter loved it!
It's not that I loved this kite . . . . but my 4-year-old granddaughter loved it! And that's what counts! The assembly instructions were not the easiest to understand. But I did get it assembled OK. The kite is well made and sturdy. It went up easily with moderate wind and flew very easily. After handing it off to my granddaughter, she flew it very easily. And she absolutely loved the rainbow colors, and that tail!

It really is easy to fly.
Excellent kite for someone who hasn't flown before. No running needed. An adequate breeze will pick it up out of your hand. It CAN nosedive with a sudden loss of wind or direction change but the majority of the time it just gently lays itself on the ground when the wind dies. I love this thing but can't say anything about the durability just yet. Do yourself a favor and buy another large reel because rewinding over a 100' of string on the tiny reel it comes with is not fun and wear gloves so you can work with the rope directly without getting rope burn.

Kite flying made easy :)
Took this kite out for a fly yesterday with my little guy. Even in what I consider light wind this went up and stayed up. I had a spin reel from another kite I used and after using all that string I add the string included while in flight and took it up another 200' if I'm not mistake. Goes together in seconds, and comes apart equally as quick when you're finished flying. We had a great time and I look forward to flying it again with him. The material is strong. Needless to say I would buy it again. This photo is with a 200% zoom just to put it in perspective.

... years and can tell you this one is a great kite for a reasonable price
I have been flying kites for 50 years and can tell you this one is a great kite for a reasonable price. WHY? 1. It's attractive, very colorful up in the sky. 2. It has a very adequate tail to prevent "nose diving" to the ground. Flew if for hours and never any dive bond tendency. 3. The poles that you assemble to hold it in shape, are not what I would call "heavy duty" but the seem strong enough, better than many. 4. Assembly the first time was a little confusing at first, but not after I found the one pole that I had dropped in the sand and re-read instructions. 5. The handle and 200' of string are very adequate and works well. 6. The little streamers on each side (x2) are a bonus and a cute addition. 7. It ships in a clear narrow plastic bag that is EXCELLENT for repacking the kite, string and 4 posts after use; ez to repack it in bag. 8. The manufacturer has excellent customer service. [The did for me, when I had a shipping/delivery problem which was NOT their fault … and they still stepped right in ready to do whatever to help me solve the problem which was NOT their fault .. and many posts of people with similar good experience with them on Amazon reviews] 9. This is NOT like a dollar store kite that you will soon be throwing away, if you get one or a few uses before it tears up. I got it for my 4 year old grandson and with due care expect it will last years … making it relatively inexpensive and worth the price. 10. It looks exactly like the photo shown with it … colorful and nice looking kite.

We took it for a spin
My 5 yr old son and I took this kite out for a run. Wind speed on the ground was not much but we did have some gusts, and were in an open field. Once the kite got above around 20 to 25 feet it began to soar. We had it up to 120 feet and it was wonderful to watch. At that height it took a bit of strength to hold on (read: adult holding the handle). Never sailed a kite that high before and would've gone higher but needed to reel it back in (I didn't realize how much effort was required in doing so!) Terrific kite and great design.

Grandchildren’s preferred kite
We’ve now both 3 of your Delta kites. Last year the one ran out of string by a sudden wind gust over South Mountain in Phoenix. We bought 2 fire kick string winders from Amazon, and we bought 2 of your larger Delta kites, but for 7&8 year old children the winders provide more control. The wind was perfect and the kites took off and the grandparents job was to handle the string when needed. The laughter was the same as last year. I like the handle on this kite, but the grandchildren like the winders. Your kites make us a hit when we arrive at our Winter home; their year round home. Thank you Grant.

Thoroughly impressed
After a very pathetic experience with another kite off of Amazon this one definitely redeemed the kite flying experience! My three-year-old really wanted to fly a kite and I ended up enjoying it more than she did! This thing was so awesome that I ended up tying it to a light pole and it stayed up in the air for at least an hour and we didn't even have that strong of winds! I think if you're going to really get into it the string is not long enough and you need to purchase one that has more length (an additional longer spool - to replace the string that comes with it). But this is definitely worth the money! Get this one!

EASY to fly, durable, great colors
Well we just let her fly and she flew great!!! Easy enough to assemble and as soon as we threw her up in the air she stayed up for the next 30 mins! No problem getting it up and it stayed up. Lots of good quality line. Pretty and seems durable (time will tell). The only strange part is that the rods don't go down the entire lenght of the sides. I'm assuming this is supposed to be like that but I find it strange. Hoping to fly it many more times and may even purchase a second.

Super dope!
I give this kite 5 stars. my buddy and his girlfriend came over and they saw the package. he was like "what did you get in your amazon box?" I was like "rude, maybe it is a personal hygiene product!" but i opened it anyway. It may have been a personal hygiene product but I was tired and didn't care. So, to alleviate the suspense it was a kite. My friend was pissed! His girlfriend was there and she is really into art and Phish and doing things that "kite people" like to do and she has wanted a kite for months! She was all like "Chris got a kite! i told you kites were cool" he was like "kites are for kids! i dont want to spend my saturdays in the park playing with toys!" There are a couple of morals to this story. NUMBER ONE, chicks love kites and this one is a pretty good one. NUMBER TWO, i left this kite in my side yard and some other 'kite lover' took it, so even people that like free kites like this kite! NUMBER THREE. i couldn't bear to tell my daughter that a rotten thief took her kite and i loved this one so much that i bought another one. like my list of story morals, great things come in threes. I hope that another thief doesn't steel my second kite so i dont have to make another story of great things that come in threes. I would rather lose it in a tree and have another story to tell.
