Exciting and innovative!
Update 10/21/2015 As part of their new FUSEables collection, We R has finally released a pack of replacement tips that includes the wheel tip & welding tool along with TWO new wheel designs! This was definitely my biggest concern with the tool so I am changing my review from 4 stars to 5. Original Review: Creativity... Start your engines! I only buy tools that either: A. Can be used in a variety of ways AND in ways I would actually use it. B. Is so unique nothing exists anywhere that can perform the same task. This tool falls under B. My first impression was I WANT IT! but it's kind of a one-hit-wonder and that goes against my nature. So I followed my normal process scouring the internet for a way I could use my wood burning tool to accomplish the same task. I came up empty handed, but in my research after seeing all the ways people have used the Fuse Tool I was so inspired and just itching to dive in I decided I HAD to have it. Even though the tool looks like a glorified wood burner, there are 3 very important things that set it apart: 1. The Fusing Tip (wheel) 2. The ruler. The rubber feet on the bottom of the ruler are absolutely crucial to using this item on those slippery page protectors. Pair that with the slot in the center and that sets this ruler apart from any other I own or could find online. 3. Most Importantly: The Watts. A wood burner is about 30 Watts because hey, it's meant to burn wood. The Fuse Tool is only 7 - so you can imagine what a difference that makes and what would happen to a wafer thin piece of plastic if you cranked the heat up 4 times higher than necessary. Now this would be a 5 star tool EXCEPT for one little thing - and it is THE most important LITTLE thing... the Fusing Tip! I would really have liked for there to be some way to store whichever tip you weren't using with the tool. Right now the ONLY place you can find the Fusion Tip is with the complete tool set. Losing such a small item would leave you with a very low heat tool or out money for the entire kit just to replace the one little piece you can NOT live without. It would be really handy to have a storage compartment inside the tool itself, but I would settle for something as simple as a compartment on the tool stand. Even two little slots on either the top or bottom of the base the tips could snap into would be handy. I do store the Cutting Tip in the base with a piece of tape over it (see photo) but the important one, the Fusing Wheel Tip, sadly doesn't fit. Now that I have the Photo Fuse Tool in my hands I'm glad I bought it - I definitely feel it was worth the money and I'm excited to use it!

love this!
love this!!! I've only used it maybe twice so far, since I'm so far behind on all my other crafts. This tool is good. I used it all different types of plastic and the "soft thin cheaply" ones don't seem to fuse as well as the heavy duty ones. I recommend getting the heavy duty plastic if you can.

Works GREAT~!!!!
better than trying to do it with glue gun. lol YES, you need a lite touch! practice before going straight to your project/ Also. I was able to make those expense pocket pages. Paid fir itself within the week.

In love with this tool!
I'm in love with this thing! The possibilities are literally endless. You need to learn how to guide the heat but once you get the hang of it you won't stop! I do wish the stand holder was more stable but it's literally the least of my worries with such an amazing tool. I've needed something like this for a while but never knew how to go about it. It's nice someone came up with this amazing idea to make crafters lives easier.

Great craft tool!
Amazon beat all other stores on price for this tool. Most stores were asking $30+ so I feel like I got a great deal here. I'm making shaker bookmarks for kids with this tool and it seems to be working really well at fusing the plastic sleeves together. It's easy to assemble the heads to the tip of the tool and it heats up fairly quick. I give it 10 minutes just to make sure it is completely heated. Great for craft projects and definitely great price on Amazon!

Awesome product!
Wow, something to make shaker cards quick and easy! I love that I can use it to make any shape I want and that it adds a very small amount of bulk to the card and envelope. What used to be a pain-in-the tush for making AND mailing is now simple and easy to do. I watched a couple of videos I found on You-Tube for exactly how to use it and/or to obtain some 'tips' and that really helped, also. I no longer scrapbook, but if I did, this would also be fun and handy. Note: the metal gets very hot (like a glue gun) and can burn easily. Keep away from kids. Let it cool completely before storing. It does take about 8 to 10 minutes to heat up, but during that time you can be getting your project ready! The only negative I would have would be that the pocket full of shaker stuff (glitter, beads, etc.) is "flat" so it doesn't shake as easy as the normal shaker card you make using foam tape. Still, for the benefits, I think that's only a very minor flaw. As an experiment, the next time I might try to blow a little bit of air into the pocket (maybe use a small straw like a coffee stirrer) before it seals to see what happens. Highly recommend and for the price, creativity, convenience, and less bulk, it's well worth it.

Works well, heat up time differs from directions.
Fantastic tool. Works well, using the WRMK heat mat made specifically for it so I can use it on any surface without worry. Takes longer than the 10min warm up time to get to optimal heat level for flaw free fusing. (For me I've found roughly 20 min/25 is best) Also, reminder, it is a fuse tool, but does not cut and fuse at the same time, so get the fuse lines down and then trim outside the fuse lines. (Somehow alot of tutorials missed this detail)

FUN FUN FUN
This is a fun little tool! It took a couple of tries before I got the hang of it, but once I did it was so much fun! I already made two scrapbook pages with it and will be doing more. A couple things I didn't like were 1) the little hook that comes with it to hold it up off the table. I had to tape mine down to prevent it from sliding all around. If it were more weighed down it would be perfect. The ruler is cute, I wish that were better made too, it seems a little flimsy but it will still do the job. All in all I'm glad I bought it. :)

So much fun.
Love love my fuse tool. So much fun to make shaker cards with. I've also made little shaker bookmarks for my daughter, which she thinks is neat. I've been using sheet protectors and stamp storage pockets to create with and they both work well.
