Excellent product for my ceiling vents. Down draft was over my gas stove and this fixed it. Strong magnets kept it in place.

Great air deflectors to help directing air

Great air deflectors to help directing air. Comes with magnets which are pretty strong and keep the deflectors securely in place if attached to metallic vents. Otherwise they also have screw slots in case you need to mount them to the ceiling with the vent screws for plastic vent covers.

Relief... finally!

Why did I not find these earlier??? Received them today and installed right away. The deflectors are lightweight but sturdy enough for the purpose. Installation is easy and the magnets are strong enough to hold the piece in place. I have been suffering so long from air blowing in my face at night (ice cold air in my face usually triggers a sinus infection) and onto my neck and shoulders while working in the kitchen resulting in painful muscles and sometimes a stiff neck. I have worked up the most elaborate solutions (with cardboard boxes, etc.) but nothing really solved the problem unless I closed the register completely (which caused the bedroom getting too hot). These deflectors are exactly what I needed! Air is directed along the ceiling and sinks down slowly. All registers can stay open without bothering me. I originally only ordered 2 to see how they worked but ordered another set right away. Great product for the price!

Heavy duty and works great

I've been wanting to get something like this for a while now. I don't like that I have to use them but my 96 year old house gets so drafty sometimes that it's necessary to direct the heat out rather than up. Within first use, I could already tell a difference. As I walked through my kitchen, I could feel the warm air blowing on my feet as I walked by the vent. I have another one underneath my computer desk in my home office and it's so much warmer sitting there during the winter than in years past. Very glad I picked these up. The magnets are powerful enough that the cats can't run into them and knock them off and the plastic is very durable and I don't think they would break easily. I will definitely be purchasing another set of these for the other two vents I have in my office and kitchen!

Huge difference

This thing has been a life saver! My heating vent is right above my bed and I've been unable to leave the heat on overnight because it cooks me! All I did was open this up to the width of my vent and it hooked right on from the magnets. It's been up for a week and hasn't fallen off. The magnets are very strong. I was worried that it wasn't wide enough to cover my vent which is bigger than I thought it was, but the air is still moved well. Wish I bought this ten years ago.

Unbreakable is right.

They're really not kidding when they say they're unbreakable. We've gone through set after set of other brands of this item, and finally decided to try a little harder to find something invincible. The problem is that when they're clear plastic, your eye doesn't see them, and then you step on them or kick them across the room. (I may or may not have thrown one when I kicked it for the 4 THOUSANDTH TIME). Anyway, these really are holding up well. We use them in our kids' room to help direct the air out into the room better (as opposed to under the curtains, since the vents are located directly in front of the windows). One helpful hint, if you just keep kicking them-- apply colored tape, like Washi tape or colored masking tape, in stripes on the vent cover. They won't be invisible anymore after that.

Wish I knew about them sooner!

These have done a fantastic job of redirecting air flow back towards the center of my house, and I couldn't be happier with them. They made the end of the winter much more bearable! Sometimes the magnets come loose if they are bumped or moved, but they are easy to put back. Very happy with this product!

These are great!

These work perfectly. I recently purchase new blinds to replace the ones that got all chewed up by banging on the window sill whenever air came through the registers directly underneath them. Not only does they deflect the heat away from the blinds, it circulates the heat and cool air throughout the room very nicely. I was happy to see that I didn't have to do anything except move them to the correct width and then place them on the metal register. The magnets hold them securely in place.

Ceiling deflectors

These deflectors are great for the ceiling. We bought some at Lowes that every time the heater would come on they would be blown off. These are better quality plastic and the magnet is really strong. We even ordered more for the other vents. I definitely recommend spending a little more money and buying these. You won't be disappointed. They were delivered on time and packaged well.

Purchased these for air vents directly above my bed and sofa. The air would blow right on us, and was very uncomfortable so I decided to give these a try and Im glad I did. They are great because they are easily adjustable to fit different size vents. Magnets are very strong and will hold if placed over vent screws. Durable - I accidentally dropped one, and it did not break. Have been hanging for at least 6 months and non have fallen off. Loved them so much that I purchased another set for my bathroom. Very happy with purchase.
