I hate how much a comforter can shift around in a duvet (first world problems, right?). These seemed like a great solution and weren't too expensive. They work wonders and even though they are a pretty large chunk of plastic, I've never once been bothered by them while sleeping. Very easy to put on and very easy to take off using the magnet tool.

They actually work!
These work beautifully! I have all eight pins holding my king size duvet. I don't think just one in each corner would do the trick. The pins are clear but you can see them, they are noticeable but not obvious. I'll take that over fighting with the duvet each morning when making the bed. Some noted a problem removing the magnetic back but I didn't experience it.

Never even think about bunched up blanket anymore.
We use a wool blanket in a duvet cover. It was always floating around in there. We used the entire package to anchore the king size blanket in place and it has been absolutely perfect. The tacks are smooth and will not hurt or cut you in anyway. The only important thing is to never lose the magnet release contraption or you will be having to cut your blanket out of there. That is how good these little guys do their job.

Overall Opinion
These are great. These were recommended by someone else and I found that they work a lot better than the corner clips that I've had to replace multiple times already. Because these are pins and go through the duvet and comforter it makes sure that there is no movement. I also don't put these at the top of the comforter (corners, sides, bottom) just because I don't want to accidentally hit myself in the head with the clip.

Excellent, but don't lose the magnetic applicator!
I have waited for 4 months to review these, I wanted to ensure I didn't wake at 3 am impaled on a PinionPin before I gave my opinions, and let me say, holy shit, these are fantastic, and I haven't been impaled even once! I am team No Top Sheet, so we all know that this means the quilt or comforter needs more frequent washing, so I went with a really boss pinstripe cover from Ikea and one of those inserts Buzzfeed always talks about, and while both were comfortable, I could not get them to line up right. I would wake up under the cover while the duvet itself was crumpled in a corner, Sometimes my dog would get lost in the duvet cover because it never stayed shut (which, if I'm honest, is both hilarious and cute), and extracting him was always an adventure. Even after sewing loops and ties in the corner of both, trying to get them to stay put, or put them back together after washing, was a monstrous pain. I saw these pins on Pinterest (yes, really) and decided to give them a try. Oh my God, I didn't think they'd be this good. They work SO WELL I can't overstate how much I love them. The pins themselves look like very large thumbtacks, and you poke them through the corner of the duvet cover, the duvet, and out the other side of the cover, and there's a rounded plastic cap that fits over the sharp end, and locks in place. Being the paranoid nut that I am, I spent a good twenty minutes trying to hulk them apart with my hands before I trusted sleeping on them, and they didn't even budge a little bit. It is nearly identical to those anti-theft tags on clothes that need to be removed at the register. I don't know if it's magnets, or sorcery, but it works!!!! When it's time for the cover to be washed, you have this little magnetic thing that looks like a tube of Chapstick, you uncap it and put it over the plastic end cap, and it slides off. Currently, since it's cold, I have an extra layer-- a heavy fleece blanket between the duvet and cover, and it still holds tight, even with a lot of material between the top and the cap. Still perfect.

They work!
I've stayed away from comforters and duvet covers because of the hassle of trying to keep the comforter in place. I bought these with the intention of using them inside the duvet cover - and they worked perfectly! I used the inside seam of the duvet cover and either the loops or the end seam on the comforter. No more traveling comforter! Making the bed in the morning takes seconds. I highly recommend.

Very strong
We use them to hold 2 or 3 layers of blankets together. I move a lot in bed so the upper blanket would always be gone before morning and I would wake up cold. That no longer happens. When they say "more than 10 lbs" of holding power, I suspect they mean way more. I am unable to separate them without the magnet. Hint: They come apart easily with the magnet. Never tug on it with force. Push it slightly in first, then out. If done right you do not need any force at all.

The Best!
These things are GREAT! My daughters' got duvets but the kept bunching down in the covers. I put a pin on each corner and now they don't move. I don't find getting them undone to be any trouble at all. It's very simple. They do feel very secure in that they aren't going to come off or poke my kid anywhere. The only problem I have is when the blankets end up on the floor, stepping on the pin isn't fun. It doesn't poke out though. These are the best!

Great solution for restless sleepers.
I toss and turn and end up pulling the sheets off the bed all the time. I thought I'd give these a try to see if they would solve the problem. I used the pins to anchor the bottom sheet at the head of the bed and the top and bottom sheets at the foot of the bed. I put the pins through the mattress pad skirt which tucks way under the mattress and then through the sheets at the corners and in the middle at the foot of the bed and the sheets have stayed perfectly in place. Now re-making the bed when I get up is as simple as pulling the covers up. I couldn't be happier.

Love this product
These pins are so great! We have a duvet that we love but it only came with the corner ties. We have two blankets inside the duvet and found that they would bunch up would not stay in place inside the cover. Because we received 8 pins, we used 4 on top, 2 in the bottom corners, 1 each on either middle side. It really just keeps everything in place, no more bunching. The magnetic key concept is so awesome too. I don't have any fear of the pins coming apart even though they are holding two blankets inside of the duvet. They seem very secure and we've had no issues of them coming apart. We bought the clear pins and though you can see them, they don't really stand out or take away from the overall appearance. I would recommend these.
