These are sharp knives and that is exactly what I was looking for. It has a safety cover to keep the blade sharp and to protect accidental slicing of fingers. Only wih they had a hole in the handle for hanging to make them more convenient for me.

Best Knives Under $30

Like many, I'd love to head to Williams-Sonoma and drop $1,000 on a great set of "for life" knives. However, I'm a graduate student so that's just not in the cards given my stipend. That being said, these are truly excellent for the price. If you don't have a set of knives, get these now. They are smooth and cut effortlessly. I primarily use the chef, Japanese, and paring knives and I love them. At this price, there's no excuse for using steak knives. They've made cooking so much more enjoyable. The guards are convenient because they don't come in a block and no one wants to get cut sticking his or her hands in a drawer.

Great knives. Fun fact, YOUNG kids will want to play with these. We discovered this when our friend was over and her son grabbed all the knives (in their protectors) and came running from the kitchen screaming "lets party!" It was awkward, and never repeated again.

Color doesn't peel!

The color is so nice! It doesn't peel and it's so great to be able to identify my utensils among all my roommate's stuff! These are super durable and cut really nicely! I love the covers on them because it means I don't have to get a knife block and they're still totally safe!

Great knives! A must have!

Unbelievable! They are so sharp! I have no idea why I didn’t order this before! I just hope it stays sharp after few months! It comes with its own sleeve protector which Is great especially when it’s in the drawer and doesn’t cut you when you reach for it and I like that they are colored now I just have to remember which color is for what purpose lol!

Had these knives for about nine months now. I held off writing a review because I wanted to see how they held up to repeated use and cleaning. I was concerned that the colored coating would start to chip off but I am very pleasantly surprised. These knives have all held up wonderfully to the day-to-day use I put them through. I have washed them both by hand and in the dishwasher and see no signs of deterioration. I can honestly recommend without hesitation.

These knives are great and worth every Penney. You won’t get this quality for this price anywhere!

I bought these for the family members for Christmas. I bought myself a set too. We ALL love them! It’s a wonderful set of knives and the sleeves are great! I read comments before I purchased and several people said the paint on them wore or peeled off after a few uses. I tell you, as with any set of knives if you take care of them and wash and dry them as you use them the paint stays on! The dishwasher is not easy on them. This does not affect the performance of them though. I’ve had mine for a year come this Christmas and they are still like new.

Cuisinart Has Great Knives

I bought a set at Costco to upgrade my cheap knives. This set was good, but didn't complete a set that included a block. So I was looking for similar steak knives to complete the set. This was the exact color, type, and design that matched the other set. I am very happy with the look, feel, and quality of both sets. I would definitely look toward Cuisinart for future purchases.

I'm obsessed

These knives have gorgeous colors and they WORK. An old roommate had a set of the brighter color variety and I always love how well they worked. When I moved and needed a new set of knives I knew exactly what I wanted. I was thrilled to see this set because I actually like these colors more personally. The stealths are a wonderful addition to keep them sharp but I particularly like them because our knife drawer is just that much safer to reach into in a hurry <3

Nice Knives for the Money

I bought a set of these knives for my granddaughter who was setting up an apartment after living in a dorm. I was not expecting much, but the reviews were good and if the knives were no good, there wasn't much lost. But when she unwrapped them, I was impressed. The different sizes were perfect for a first set of knives and the blades were extremely sharp. I expect the coating (paint?) on the blades to wear off, but who cares so long as the blades stay reasonably sharp and can be re-sharpened. My impression is that this set is a heck of a good deal for the money spent. And, they are very attractive and each knife comes with it own protective sheath so they are easy to store with other kitchen tools in a drawer.
