My 7 month old was super constipated. Which is weird because she is exclusively breastfed with a little bit of baby food maybe once a day just to ease her into solids. Anyway. I know she was constipated because her poops were solid balls. So I upped her liquids (breast milk and pedialite), I tried apple juice and apple sauce. She didn't like Apple juice or sauce. Nothing was helping so I took the last resort of prunes. I fed her half of one of these in the morning and the other half later that day around 4. Right before bed the flood gates opened and she was no longer constipated. Her grumpy attitude changed back to her sweet self. It didn't last too long either. Just about 4 poops diapers. The first one was solid poop and then soft and then normal breast fed poop. She wasn't constipated any more. Yes I know that breast milk acts like a natural laxative but when I trouncing solids their tummies can pretty upset and stopped up. That was actually the only day I fed them to her and she loooooved the taste. I warmed them up a bit of course. I have the rest on hand just in case.

Need your little one to have a bm? These are magic. Success in 24hrs garunteed! May be accompanied by some uncomfortable gas but the reward outweighs the cons.

One of my kids favorite flavors. It also has the bowel moving benefits of prunes with out the 100% pruney flavor. The prune/apple blend has a milder prune flavor. My baby accepted this more easily than the stage 1 pureed prunes I used to by. My toddler still eats this when she doesn't eat her daily dose of fruits/vegetables. She still loves it and she is 3 years old! Always tastes fresh. I love the containers with lids. When the kids don't finish, I put the lid on and keep it in the fridge until the next meal. Thanks to Amazon, I'm always stocked. It keeps my kids tummies moving along as they should. I highly recommend.

My 9 mo son cant get enough naners. This was a good value and I didnt have to leave the house on a hot day. May just order his purees online from now on. Got them the next day.

Apples and avocados are healthy for most people. This baby food combines both. It tastes good enough too. My child willingly eats it.

I ordered this due to my (then) 1 year old needing to conduct a B.M. after starting him on whole milk. He was in a great deal of pain. He had no problem scarfing this flavor down and it allowed him to finally make a BM... and his BMs became more "regular". I tasted the food and it was a great flavor, especially when introducing them to prunes. The expiration dates were good. Packaging was good. Will buy again.

We used to buy large quantities of bananas from the grocery store, since we like to use them in oatmeal and other breakfast foods, and bananas are high in potassium. However, fresh bananas are a pain to manage, since they tend to all ripen at the same time, and the peels get smelly. At some point, we decided to try buying banana baby food instead, and it turned out to be an excellent substitute for the fresh ones. Gerber seems to have changed the packaging recently, moving from the old glass jars to the current plastic tubs, which are actually a lot easier to deal with.

The ingredients are just the fruits, veggies, and protein that is listed on the package along with vitamin C.

Our baby girl love it so much. She's usually picky on the foods but she enjoyed this one. Yummy

My baby has always liked plain banana and banana blueberry Gerber baby food. This is the first time we tried banana blueberry blackberry. She really loved this.
