• 9"/6" Power Boil element: Use different pan sizes on this single, 3,000-watt flexible element that produces rapid powerful heat.
  • Bridge Element: Combines cooking elements into one cooking area.
  • Control lock capability: Protects against unintended activation.
  • Hot surface indicator lights: Know when elements are too hot to touch with a quick glance.
  • Cooktop "On" indicator light: A light lets you know when an element is active.

I am totally pleased with the cooktop. Need to make sure the pots and pans you use lay flat on surface and within marked boundaries. Clean it everyday with tiny amount of cleaner that comes with it so it just takes minutes and looks like new every time. I added two 12 x 24 inch tiles on each side to rest hot pots if you don't want food to continue cooking while off and cooling down. The downdraft exhaust did not match up with our previous Jenn-Air cooktop so it took my husband a bit of work to line it up with existing hole with the use of a transition duct pipe you will need to purchase separately. Transition duct size is indicated in instructions. IMPORTANT: you may need to purchase a wire kit separately also mentioned in the instructions, but not mentioned on Amazon's item page. Also, it requires a 40 amp circuit.

So far so good. Replaced an ugly old Jenn-Air. Fit perfectly in the existing counter hole. Exhaust is very powerful (important for a downdraft). Wishing the exhaust output was a 6" round, rather than a 10" rectangle. Gotta get an adapter peice. Stove heats up in an instant! So fast. Have to rethink my cooking process now since I don't have to wait for the old Jenn-Air to heat up. Instant heat.

I finally got this installed - um, it is realllly heavy - so have help! Once you attach the downdraft fan - it is super heavy. The fan is super powerful, that is really nice, keeps the cooking area cleared and no obnoxious overhead venting needed. I love the power boil setting. I didn't really realize all the nice features of this when I picked it out, I just knew the size I needed and that I had to have a downdraft, then price and overall star reviews came into play, and I made my choice. I was switching over from a propane cooktop that was not working well, and was thrilled that my electrician was able to do all the disconnects and hookups needed. He was even impressed by the cooktop. It looks really nice and it seats firmly in position. A reminder- the counter mount is optional and does not come included. There is no shifting or movement.

I got this for my elderly parents in their 80s and 90s to replace an old Jen Aire. I do the cooking mostly and find it delightful. So far no issues. Easy to clean. And the only difference is to learn to keep burners low. It cooks very hot. I love it it’s beautiful!! We did have to get a sheet metal person to fit the round tin vent to the steel square vent but not too hard.

Nice looking cooktop. So far works very good, burners heat up quickly, love that. As far as cleaning this cooktop, I have found that a Mr. Clean eraser works wonders then I dry it with a microfiber cloth made for glass or mirrors. I hope this helps those of you having a hard time keeping it clean.

I hate downdrafts but its my only choice at present. I therefore purchased this to replace an old Gas cooker (whoever thought of gas for downdraft,,duh) , so I had to wire up a new line for 240V. I am totally pleased with this product so far. Am used to cooking with gas & love it & so having to go electric took some practice & getting used to but otherwise its excellent. My only note is that you'll need to handle it carefully while installing & observe the instructions. The glass is scratch resistant to a very good degree.

Love this cooktop! It was very easy to install, my husband recently had surgery so I pulled out the old top dropped this nice one in and my nephew stopped by and connected the electricity. The nicest feature on this cooktop is the center cooking area between the burners to accommodate oval shaped pots. Great cooktop.

I replaced an older model downdraft cooktop with this model. When it comes to downdraft cooktops you don't vhave a huge selection out there. This works well. The burners all work well, the turbo boil setting works great. There are a few issues, keeping it clean is a chore. Anything shows up on this cooktop. The knobs are located in the center are there to attract grease. A flush electronic style of switch may have been easier to keep clean. Overall it's a great cooktop so far, we have had it for a month.

Great looking cooktop. Our 12 year old Jenn-air did not heat well, needed new burners at a cost off $500. We were getting new counter tops so we replaced the cooktop. The fan has more power thus better air flow than the Jenn-air.

This type of cooktop is unpopular and only used when there is no option. It is always complicated to install. It took my husband most of a workday to do it. once installed it looks great. It has some nice features that we have already used in the first 2 weeks- the bridge between 2 units and the small/large option on the front right burner. Overall I am pleased
