I highly recommend this equipment. I used to have the set-up that used the bars with the chains and this works 100 times better. I pull a 23 foot camper that is 4,500 lbs. empty, with a Chevy Colorado, which is rated for a 7,000 lb. towing capacity. With the old unit, I was white knuckling the whole time I was driving as you could feel a lot of sway with the camper, but using the Husky Center Line TS I could drive at highway speeds and the camper rode like a dream. I felt no sway and was a lot more comfortable and confident that we were safe. I have done both a fairly sharp u-turn and also backed up into a 90 degree turn and had absolutely no issues with the bars binding or interfering with the turns.

When I bought my new travel trailer I also needed a new weight distributor and sway controller to go with it. My old unit used separate components for distribution and sway control, but the Husky Center Line TS is an all in one solution that works very well. Installation wasn't quick but the instructions were easy to follow and I was able to get everything done right the first time. This unit controls sway much, much better than my old equipment and I'm glad that I didn't transfer it to my new travel trailer. The quality and finish is excellent, it's easy to hook-up, and unlike my old distributor it's very quiet when turning. Best part of all was the price, at just over $300.00 it's one of the lower cost solutions out there but it performs just as well as it's much higher priced competitors.

This really made a difference in the raising the rear end of my SUV by equalizing weight and improving the handling and controlling the sway. I don't have a particularly heavy hitched weight of only around 400 lbs loaded but it dropped the rear-end 2" and raised the front-end 1" of my SUV, which cause a severe sway problem and even though I was a able to control it with just a sway bar the Husky WDH made the sway, going over bumps and potholes, and in general sway so much better! When I first saw this 100 lb brute I thought it will just make things worse by increasing the hitch weight but found even distributing the weight was way more important. It was not to difficult to install and properly adjust if you really follow the directions. It is also really well design and heavy duty built. My only regret is that I wish I would have gotten this in the first place as I could have save $100 in buying a normal hitch and sway setup that was not really fixing the problem. The adjustable shank fits quite a range of drop or rise as I need almost 6" drop and it worked for me without having to spend another $100 to get a special shank.

This was very easy to install. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. You just need to have a tape measure. Extremely happy with the performance of this hitch. Eliminate sway and distribution of weight to make towing safer. Using on a 2017 Nissan Titan and Jayco x22n.

This hitch makes highway towing so much safer and less stressful. The front end of my truck now sits much lower and towing is so much more stable. Less wind/18-wheeler sway on the highway. My wife now lets me tow on 95 :) The initial adjustment (per directions) was way too high, I had to almost lift my back truck tires off the ground to hitch up. But it's easy to lower the struts on the trailer attachments to get it where you are comfortable.

Greatest hitch that I can imagine. When I bought my toy hauler, the dealer only sold these and I now know why - this is really a great set-up. I see my friends using chain set-ups, and I have been in their trucks while towing - and I like this performance much better. It prevents cross wind sway, it prevents porpoising (but I also have airbags). I like it very much. Lock yours using a locking trailer hitch pin. I had mine stolen in one day after lending someone my locking pin for a day. This is the replacement.

This replaced an old chain style weight distribution hitch on my 1970 Airstream. After installing, I balanced out perfectly and had the desired weight distribution to both axles of the truck. It reduced sway to almost nothing and I felt a huge difference on the interstate and as semi's passed. I could feel the trailer more than before which I attribute to the stiffness of the anti-sway mechanism. Not a bad thing but I had read previous reviews that people couldn't even tell their trailer was there so was unexpected. This is heavier than I realized at 117 lbs. The shank and head assembly are heavy and a little difficult to carry around but I realized this is comparable to other models in this class. Definitely happy with my purchase.

This system is top notch so far. I was towing a 10,000 pound fully loaded toy hauler with my F150 rated for 11,500 pounds. I've never towed anything that heavy or high profile before and the truck couldn't have done it without this system and neither could I. We towed about 750 miles in one weekend with this system and we had semis passing us at 70-75mph (I was doing the speed limit hovering around 55 in CA) and I got no sway at all, ever. Pretty impressed so far. Value for the money is outstanding too! I will say it's a little weird to install if you're doing it yourself but if you can change an alternator you can install this.

Made one trip with this hitch so far. Have the 600-800 / 8000 lb model. Got installed and adjusted easily based on guidelines in manual. Shifted tow vehicle weight, eliminated squat and sway control appears improved. Beware they want you to torque hitch bolts to 380 foot-lbs which is a stretch. Hitch is heavy and solidly constructed. Materials and tolerances are good.

I am pulling a 3,400 Lb camper with a Chevy Uplander which is rated for 3,500Lbs. I bought the camper and pulled it home (about 15 miles). It was a scary ride. The back of the van squatted down very low and the trailer continually swayed anytime I got above 40 miles per hour. I thought I had made a mistake by buying that heavy of a camper. I was afraid that I would need to buy a pick up truck to pull it. I put a transmission cooler and The Husky 32217 hitch on it. The hitch made a world of difference. The van sets level and the camper pulls like a dream. The only downside is that it is a pain to hook up and unhook. I need to have the van and camper in perfect alignment and be on perfectly flat ground. Because my van is low to the ground the tool used to install the spring bars often hits the ground before it is in the proper alignment. Even with these drawbacks I would highly recommend this hitch. It has made a 100% improvement in drivability.
