Best 5.1 System in the price range. Wireless Technology is game changer
This is my first speaker system and I am blown away. I was looking for a 5.1 Surround Sound System and had a price range between $600-$1,000. I did hours of research and finally decided on this system and have no regrets. SETUP: The most time consuming part of setting them up was unboxing them. You simply plug them into the wall and they are ready to go. Also, it is incredibly convenient that you don't have to connect the speakers with speaker wires (and they are currently working on rear Battery Pack speakers which are completely wireless and don't need to be plugged into the wall). CUSTOMER SERVICE: This is a startup company which really takes pride in not only providing the best product but providing the best customer service. You won't find customer service even close to as remarkable if you buy speakers from any of the larger companies. If you go on their website with any questions the CIO Rob will personally email you answering all of your questions and asking if you would like to set up a phone call to discuss further. Also, as you'll read in other reviews, the remote that comes with this system is very hard to use. However, I brought this up to Rob and he is shipping me a free Universal Remote which he said will make my life so much easier. SYSTEM DESIGN: The 2 front speakers and 2 rear speakers are all very easy to wall-mount and the speakers and subwoofer connect to the Smart Center with the touch of a button. The remote is hard to use and you have to click hard but you can get around this if you have a universal remote. Also, when they come out with firmware updates you can just connect to the system via Bluetooth and upgrade the system through an app on your phone (super cool!) and it improves the performance. QUALITY: The quality of the system is incredible. I would recommend to anyone looking for a 5.1 system on the same budget that I had. It has drastically improved my home theater experience by an amount that can't be understood until you actually hear it. It is so easy and is perfect for both Music and Movies. It is also very easy to connect your phone via Bluetooth and play music and doesn't suffer on quality because of the Bluetooth connection. Also, it comes with an HDMI cable which you can connect to the HDMI (ARC) input on your tv if you want to stream in 4K from an Apple TV or something like that.

WIRELESS. EASY INSTALLATION. SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!
Sound is excellent. Wireless makes it a breeze to set up. I had connections issues, but only because I FAILED to update the firmware that they actually tell you to do with a big sticker right on the unit. Follow directions? Only if everything else fails, lol. Tech support takes your message and calls you back very fast. Picture does not show the subwoofer (hidden behind the couch) or the two rear wireless speakers that are cleverly designed to point in two directions. I am not an audio expert, but I know what I like and this is it. UPDATE. I have now had this wonderful sound system for several months and if anything, I like it more. The sound is far superior to any surround system I have ever had (and I have had many). When I can afford it, I am getting a second one for my lake home. If you are on the fence, jump over and place the order. You will not regret it. AAAAA++++

Best sounding wireless system
I’ll start by saying this is the 3rd wireless system I tried, the Bose 300 and Sonos. I have a Sony X940D and Xbox One X I was looking for a system to replace the Vizio S5451 home theater in a box. The Sonos was so-so for movies or video games, the sound didn’t seem that much better than the Vizio and was pretty expensive. The soundbar was really good, but the sub and rear speakers weren’t that impressive. The Bose soundbar was awesome, but again the sub and especially the rear speakers where not very good at all. First the sound of the Enclave, it’s really good, especially for video games, the surround sound is fantastic. I’m hearing things I didn’t even know where there, like hearing the actual gear changes on Forza 6. For movies the voices are clear and the rear speakers actually work with good volume, There is a lot detail. Watching Gardians of the Galaxy 2, again I heard things I have never heard before. I wouldn’t mind a little more bass, but I haven’t really messed with the settings yet. It's also the one system that I tried that worked with the Xbox set to 5.1 Uncompressed audio and my Sony set to PCM output. Overall for $800 I’m very happy with the system. There are some cons; 1. The remote is kind of cheap ( except for accessing the menu on occasion there isn't much use for it anyway) 2. The only menu display is on the TV screen, so making changes is more complicated than need be. In this case I miss my Vizio remote. 3. The blueLED's on the back of the front speakers can be distracting, they are maybe a little brighter than they need to be. There are a few design decisions that I don’t like. The system always starts up muted, and the CEC won’t turn on the Enclave, so you either need to leave it on all the time or use a universal remote.

Amazingly simple and fast to set up. Sound is awesome. Remote ? (could still use a little work)
My saga started out with a lot of frustration by buying the latest, greatest Samsung sound bars and "wireless surround speakers" to go with my Samsung TVs. Got them home and hooked up the Sound bar and the accompanying sub. Not too shabby. Then I went to hook up the surround sound speakers via the BT interface. No joy. I called Samsung Support who assured me I had gotten a bad unit, and to have it replaced. This I did with the new speakers having the same issue ... they would not connect to the sound bar. A second call to Samsung revealed that the speakers I had bought as a bundle would not work together, and I would need to wait several moths until the compatible receiver/speaker pair was released. Needless to say, those went right back. Then I started doing some more research and came across the Enclave CinehomeHD system. Sure, it was more than the bundle I had just returned, but it looked like it should work, since it creates it's own 5Gig network and all the speakers connect wirelessly. I laughed when I saw the review that said it would take longer to un-box the speakers than to set it all up. So I decided to time myself. Total time to un-box and place speakers was just over 20 minutes from start to finish. Once that was done and the speakers were powered on, I connected the Smart Center speaker to power and to the TV via HDMI (out from the speaker) then back to it with an optical cable. OK, I am 22 minutes and counting. Next step was to find some batteries for the remote. That added another 2 or 3 minutes. So just under 25 minutes from cutting the tape and opening all the individual speaker boxes and having everything ready to go. I set my TV to the HDMI channel from the smart speaker and hit the power button on the remote. After a few seconds. I got a message that all speakers were OK. I hit the menu button and make my selections, guessing at what speaker levels and surround sound delay should be (got pretty damned close first try). I listened to the noise generator on all the speakers and made a few small adjustments. I am now sitting at 30 minutes from un-boxing to a functioning 5.1 surround system. (It might have been a few minutes less if the cats hadn't decided that each box needed to be explored and scooted around the room and determined that the freshly unfurled power cords were something akin to a ball of yarn). 🐱👤😎 Now it was time to set the speaker output on the TV to optical and see how it sounded ... Wow, I was impressed. It sounded more like a movie theater experience than the Samsung soundbar and sub, and multitudes better than the chintzy speakers in the TV. I dimmed the lights and through on a movie that I thought would have some nice surround sound in it. The music in the intro was nice, and I heard a few things coming from the surrounds that made it enjoyable. Then came the actual movie. OK,front speakers sound great and the sub is pumping some really nice rumbling lows, but not a lot though the surrounds. That is until there was an announcement on the ship that came from the surrounds that were so crisp and clear, it scared me a little. I;m sure I will do a little more tweaking on the balance and the delay until it is perfect for my room, but what a GREAT start. In closing, I will say this ... The price of this system, for what you get is incredible. The sound is phenomenal right out of the box, and it is the easiest sound system I have ever set up. For the money, you can't go wrong. For the absence of speaker wire, you can't go wrong. For the ease of setup, you can't go wrong. Many have said that the remote was lacking. My remote said 2.0, so I am thinking Enclave listened and improved it a bit. I believe a few more buttons than the original. Still could stand some more improvement, like a little screen so you don;t have to use your TV to see what you are doing. Other than that, this system exceeded my expectations by quite a bit. If you are looking for a reasonably priced wireless surround sound system, check this bad boy out! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking whether they cared about wires or not. In fact, I already have told several of my friends how easy it is to set up and how good it sounds. Great job, Enclave Audio! 👌

Better than expected
Great product I would recommend it again. The sound is amazing and the wireless makes it convenient to put up anywhere in the home.

Great Speakers!
These speakers have been rock solid, and the sound from them is amazing. I was a bit skeptical at first due to so many problems with wireless in general.

Outstanding Quality Surround Sound System!
I have owned the Enclave Audio 5.1 system for a couple of weeks. The boxes arrived undamaged and all components/accessories were complete and in perfect condition. I followed the simple instructions, arranging the speakers, plugging them into wall outlets, and connecting my source equipment (Sony Bravia HDTV, Roku, Sony Blu-Ray, and FiOS Set-Top-Box) to the center console via HDMI. I then watched the system come alive in short order. There were no setup issues although, as others have pointed out, the remote is finicky and has to be pointed at the center console directly from a short distance. I was able to download and set-up both of our Android phones to utilize the Enclave app and it works much better for selecting HDMI inputs, adjusting volume, and controlling speaker parameters (infrequent). Initially, I had trouble updating the firmware version via the app using my Samsung Note8; however, when I attempted that same process with my wife's Samsung S8, it worked flawlessly. I never figured out whether the problem related to my particular phone or some other issue, but it no longer mattered once the firmware upgraded successfully. For anyone else, like me, whose center channel speaker is slightly forward of the L and R speaker enclosures, not to worry. The system works absolutely fine and sounds terrific. I have played around with varying levels for the center and rear speakers and ended up keeping them all at default values (i.e., 0). The only adjustment that I felt improved the sound was to pump up the sub-woofer to +6 for a more substantive bass experience. Based upon other reviews, I was intending to purchase a second sub; however, I am happy with the overall sound and don't see a need to add that component at present. I registered three minor questions/issues with Tech Support. Each one was answered the same day by responsive techs who were patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. All matters were completely resolved with no lingering concerns on my part. The sound is amazingly rich and enveloping when listening to inputs coded in Dolby and totally fine for regular TV channels and music sources (e.g., Pandora). There have been no interruptions, distortions, cutouts, or other interference with other technologies in my house including wireless LAN and cordless phones operating on 2.4 and 5.0 GHz channels. I mounted the rear speakers using Perlesmith adjustable stands which were easy to assemble and work perfectly. I wasn't worried about hiding the power chord which is very thin and hardly noticeable. I just ran it down the backside of the pole and tied it using a couple of black wire wrappers. I have wanted a surround experience in our main TV listening area for some time, but running speaker wires would have been extremely problematic as well as disruptive. I was prepared to spend a boatload of money on competing solutions (e.g., SONOS) until I learned about WISA and Enclave. I am a thoroughly happy customer and think Enclave may be the best value on the planet in terms of affordable and quality audio surround. I love that I don't need a separate receiver-amp and there are no external connections required except for electrical power and HDMI inputs. Simply put - FANTASTIC!

System has issues so be cautious.
I purchased this November 27/2018. So I've had this less than 2 months and I've been having problems with this system. Firmware has been updated so it's not the firmware. The sound quality is not bad at all for the price and size. Subwoofer sounds nice and is more than enough for a small living room. But this is where it ends. First issue - I would often at random times no longer be able to view any of my programs. And instead get an HDCP error. I would have to turn off, unplug the speakers, replug and turn back on to remedy this. If this was an isolated incident, I can understand this, but it would happen regularly. I also had good quality HDMI cables rated for high speed. Furthermore, I swapped out all my HDMI cables and purchased new ones. Still had same issue. Second Issue - Random Distortion. I often have to turn the unit on and off to resolve. Again, if this was isolated issue, I wouldn't be complaining but this is regular recurring issue. HOrrible distortion occurring regularly. I have to restart the system to resolve. Third Issue - My surround speaker will often disconnect (go out of sync). This happens often. Lately it is the RIGHT surround speaker but also happens to left. Sometimes it is left. Sometimes it is right. Occurs randomly. I have to use the remote to "resync" my speakers. Again if this happened once or twice, I would be ok with this. However, this is regular occurrence. I had to do this a few hours earlier today. And just an hour ago, my wife and son were watching TV and I randomly got up to see if the right surround speaker was working because I had a sneaking suspicion. And as I suspected, once again the blue light was off. I had to resync. This morning, it was the LEFT surround. I'm getting tired of having to do this every few hours. Since my wife was complaining about keeping open boxes in my living room, I got rid of them within a week of buying the system which is why I didn't return it. That was my mistake. Because now I'm stuck with a system that clearly is not working and I can't return. 01/30/19 - Support team was very responsive in helping me troubleshoot issues with the unit. Great communication. Thank you.

Very happy with this system
I delayed writing this review until I had used the Enclave Wireless Surround Sound system for over a month. I am very happy with the Enclave system and wish I had bought it sooner. Before buying it, I had been using a Vizio Soundbar with a wireless subwoofer and two rear channel speakers, and the difference is night and day. I’m genuinely irritated when I think about the sound quality I had been settling for. Positives: The Enclave was easy to set up. It sounds great and produces excellent separation and clear dialog. Aside from needing to plug the speakers into the wall, it is truly wireless, allowing you to put the speakers in optimal positions all over the room without having to hire an expensive electrician or knock holes in the wall. It has been rock-solid dependable for me. Not once have I had to reconnect a speaker that lost its wireless connection (a problem I had often with my Vizio Soundbar). Negatives: If you have a 4K disc player, you need to read the Enclave’s setup instructions. I saw that there was a specially printed sheet of instructions for 4K setups, but I figured I didn’t need it. I banged my head against that brick wall for twenty minutes or so, then looked at the instruction sheet. There is a diagram on it. I figured from the diagram that I knew what I needed to do, frustrated myself for another twenty minutes, then read the front of the sheet. I made some progress, got frustrated again, looked at the sheet, saw that there were more instructions on the back, followed those (as I should have from the beginning), and had no problems. There’s a system (I can’t remember what it’s called at the moment) that allows you to control the Enclave’s volume with the TVs controls. My TV didn’t play nice with the Enclave in that regard, so I ended up connecting it via the optical cable instead of the HDMI, and programming my remote to send volume signals to the Enclave. This setup works great, but I no longer get “vol +” and “vol –“ messages on the screen, which I can live with. The speakers have blue lights on the back that blink when they’re looking for a signal and are solid when they have a signal. Since setting the system up the first time, I’ve never seen them blink. But, they cast a blue noticeable glow on the walls behind the speakers. I could cover them with electrical tape, but I haven’t yet. That’s it for negatives. Three things, one of which was entirely my fault, and another is probably my TV messing up. I know this system looks expensive, but it sounds great, works like a charm, and saves you the expense and effort of having the room permanently wired for sound, so in a sense, they pay for themselves.

Enclave Audio CineHome is 5.2 capable!!!!
I just moved into a new house and my home theater room presented a number of challenges. First and foremost, there was no good way to run speaker wire to the back of the room without tearing into the walls. Without attic space above, wood floors, a fireplace on one wall and a HUGE entry on the opposite wall, the only solution would have been to staple unsightly wires along the crown molding and live with ugly wires throughout the room. That led me to Enclave Audio. Set up was easy and flawless. The product worked straight out of the box. That said, after watching a few movies I felt that my system needed more boom. The sub just wasn't enough for my room. Too bad this is just a 5.1 system... or is it? It occurred to me that, since the system is wireless and already sending the bass across the room, why would it not work as a 5.2 system just by adding an additional subwoofer! So, I sent a facebook message late on Saturday afternoon to Enclave expecting to hear something later the following week. To my surprise, they responded within minutes. I had a very nice FB messenger conversation with tech support who confirmed that the system is indeed capable of 5.2 with the simple addition of a 2nd sub - a configuration that most people are not aware of or don't even consider possible. A week to the day, my 2nd sub arrived. I will admit that it took a few minutes to get the system to recognize the additional subwoofer. I had to check that the firmware was up to date, reset the sub, and reboot the wireless connection via the on screen menus. In all, I spent about 30 minutes trying combos of the above to get the speaker connected. Once the blue light stopped blinking on the sub, I spaced the new speaker across the room from the one that came with the original kit and sampled a few movies. The second sub did the trick. I am no longer running the single sub level to 10 to get adequate bass in the room. I will probably move the speakers around over the next week or so to get the room "tuned" but I can already tell that this has made a great difference in my configuration. I hope that Enclave Audio continues to develop bigger and better systems in the future. Their forward thinking and customer service alone was enough for me to become a fan.
