Great cable have no issues with it. Some things worth pointing out: 1. When installing, you want it to look nice obviously, note there is one side with cable markings throughout. But other side is clean / free of any marks. That's the side most people would want showing I imagine. 2. It's flat, so that's great for a lot of situations. But it does not bend easily. The bend will make the cable bulky at that point. Also note, bending it obviously will flip the side if issue #1 I mentioned is important. 3. They come with wall tacks. Also worth mentioning, double check the prices. Cat5e wasn't that much cheaper to me at time of purchase, and cat7 was double the price of this. And I do not know if this is cat6 or 6a, but it doesn't matter for my needs, 50ft / 1Gbps.

They aren't messing around when they say this cable is thin. I feel there's a punchline somewhere in that statement. This is a great and long Ethernet cable. It doesn't sacrifice usability for thinness. The one complaint I would have are the cable mounts it comes with. Trying to nail those little suckers into the wall or baseboard to keep people from tripping is a pain in the neck, the back and my thumb from smashing it repeatedly with a hammer. I found that making a sign saying, "Warning: don't trip on the cable. If you trip, you were warned." I find it way easier than having nail down like 50 of those things just to run the cable. But hey, you do what you want. A sign worked for me and the only person tripping on the stupid cable is me so I have me to blame. Thanks me.

I install cables running around the walls instead of floor to make sure it's safe for everyone in my house, so I tend to need more length than what I actually would need due to how I manage cables. The flat cable is so much easier to cut corners compared to rounded, and since they are flat, they aren't as noticeable as rounded cables when doing so. I bought two of these because I needed one for my PC and the other for PS4 pro (I prefer hardwiring instead of relying on wireless stuff), and the cable clips that came with these can fit two cables over lapped as well. It didn't seem to be harmful for the cables as I can slide both cables through after installing them, so that's a plus for people who are installing multiple cables. Note that they can slide, and by that I really mean slide with no effort. Some rounded cables won't budge when clipped, but these make cable management much easier to freely adjust length in case you miscalculated it as you install it. Just a note that since they are coiled up in two parts, the cord at the center is pretty much bent in such shape, so I had to take time to straighten that out a bit. Also it leaves white dust on your fingers too but that's no big deal as many cables I've handled were like that. If you plan to take time and install it like I did; I advise using a glove if you don't want dusty hands.

This cable was used to get gigabit speeds at my desktop. The included mounting pieces were perfect to run the cable along the footboard on my walls and the flat design of the cable is nice as well as it takes up less space. The only issue I can potentially see is the wires inside the cable are much smaller than their circular cable counterparts. This may not pose any issues but the possibility is still there. Great cable regardless.

I bought this to use for my son's Xbox One gaming console that was previously being used over wifi and hogging up the signal, making it near-impossible for anyone to stream video on our network at the same time he was playing his games. I needed a long, durable white cord and this fit the bill! Due to having a 120+ year old farmhouse that has had multiple renovations & additions, running a line through the ceiling & up through the floor wasn't an option because there's no telling what we might hit when drilling the hole. This way, it's plugged in down in our living room, where the router sits and goes up the stairs to our 2nd floor TV room with length to spare. The included clips keep it tucked safely in the area where the stairs meet the wall and the flat cord assures me that even vacuuming doesn't touch it. Ease of use was great: Take it out of the package, plug one end in my router, the other end into the back of the Xbox g them situating the clips along the stairs took me all of maybe 10 minutes and that's only because I wanted the flat cord to not make any twists while going up the stairs so I was very mindful of that. A great purchase that has saved the Xbox from my wrath for sure ;)

I purchased this cable so that I could run an ethernet hard line from my router in my livingroom under the rafters in the basement thru the side header bond plate into my garage, I do computer repair and have a big tv with a computer and roku setup out there and wanted to take advantage of my charter cable's 60mbs plan. Currently thru wireless the roku was weak due to walls and distance, same with the computer, I would get spotty connections for things like netflix with breakups and pauses while it buffered up very annoying when you are trying to watch something or have a music video concert on, try explaining that to a 7 year old watching barbie thru netflix too :) After running the line out to the garage, I put in a 5 port switch, so I could feed all my devices and have a few ports for any computer repairs (I use my workbench in the garage to fix computers too having a hardline to plug in for updates, virus removal etc is SO handy!), anyways the ethernet cable really is a game changer for my use, now I am getting solid 66mbs speeds on the computer and haven't experienced any buffer issues vs previously with the wireless using the 2gb band I was averaging 8-12mbs and had many breakups, in terms of repairs alone I don't have to mess with installing a wireless dongle type device on each machine now either i can just plug right in from the 5 port switch which just makes life so much easier. The cable itself routed thru my rafters very easily, I like the clips too as my standard clips for regular round wire would be double in size, very happy with the wire and if I need another run for any device i won't hesitate to order more ;)

I got this when my ISP (Charter Spectrum) told me my speed wasn't guaranteed unless I pay them $5/month for wifi service. Seeing the ridiculousness of that, I got this ethernet cable, placing it between the kitchen and the living room where I spend most of my time. I kept it to the walls so I won't trip on it using the provided clips to attach it and keep it out of the way. I think I used about 35 of the 50 feet, but I'm just happy I didn't go with the 25 I was considering. In a straight line it would be 22 feet but I had to place it out of the way behind the refrigerator, a bookshelf, and a sectional. That all went surprisingly (for me) easily. I was thrilled to get (and still be getting today) 112 Mbps down and 11 Mbps up - much better than the 30 Mbps I had been getting with wifi. I'll likely be getting one or two more for company I'll have next month.

We stream everything. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, MLB games, etc. We recently moved our television/Xbox set up to a different room that doesn't have an Ethernet connection or my router in it. We have a 200 Mb cable connection but with wireless on the Xbox One being what it is, we weren't getting the speed we are paying for and occasionally the video quality would sag during peak hours. Watching a baseball game go from sharp to blurry and back again often is not my idea of fun. When the Xbox was in the other room we could easily run the cable under the floor rug. I decided to give this flat white cable a try. I tacked it along the white baseboards out of the room the router is located and along the wall to the Xbox. Honestly you can't see if if you aren't looking for it. It is fantastic! I have not clocked under 200 Mb on my Xbox since plugging it in. It even works better than the previous Cat 6 round cable I used in the other room for some reason. No more blurry! If you need to run an Ethernet cable and have white baseboards, this is what you need.

Bought this cable to run for my POE security cameras outside. The cable itself is all ran inside the house not outside. I ordered 3 of these 50ft cables for 3 cameras. They work extremely well for going through small spaces and when fishing them through walls they are flexible enough to just fall right down instead of being so stiff as normal copper Ethernet cable would be. I was worried with the cheaper price that these would not support the POE or they would damage easily, however I did accidently drag one across a sharp nail on accident and it barely scarred up the coating. Very good price for what you get!

I needed a cable to run from my bedroom to my front room and plug into my router. I've started working from home and can't afford to have the latency that wireless has, I have to be able to make and take calls over VoIP. Wireless just won't cut it. So, I bought this cable and because it is flat, I was able to stick it between the bottom moulding and the wall from my bedroom to the front room and under the living room rug, all the way to my router. I couldn't be more pleased. This cable is small and flat and easy to hide and it does the job perfectly. I don't have connection or latency issues anymore, so I get to keep working from home twice a week. Very happy with this purchase.
