Great Grinder.....but I ruined mine. DO NOT GRIND WHOLE CLOVES!
This is a great grinder! I love it! It is surprisingly quiet and very easy to use. So I'm really bummed that I ruined mine by day two. The description said it can be used for spices/nuts/grains so I didn't hesitate to use it when I was about to make apple bread, which called for ground cloves. I only had whole cloves, so I poured in a teaspoon and started grinding. It took a couple of minutes but did a great job grinding the hard whole cloves into a powder. When I tried to clean the lid of the grinder I saw that the plastic appeared almost melted and it felt extremely sticky. (*see photo) I found out the hard way that cloves contain a chemical compound that breaks down and dissolves plastic, and that only glass is safe for cloves, whole or ground, to come into contact with and to use for storage. So, I will designate this one as strictly my spice grinder, and I'm ordering another one that will be strictly for coffee!

Straight to the point - your new morning companion for cheap!
Straight to the point - this is a great buy for 16 dollars. It looks very nice in the kitchen and is pretty easy to clean. If you think its hard to clean then boy life must be really easy for you. As far as grinding goes, Its really up to the user to determine the overall grind of the beans. I get a nice coarse grind using spurts of grinding rather than holding onto it for a long while. That being said I really like that its quiet while grinding so as to not wake my entire house up early in the morning. It also gets the job done fairly fast so if you're in a rush in the morning this is perfect. Furthermore, on the bottom of this grinder there is a knob in which you can wrap your cord around to remove any unwanted slack. Overall, great buy and I highly recommend it for a coffee enthusiast and regular joe alike.

This is perfect for eggshells too!
I use it as a grinder for getting egg shells into fine powder for my cat. I tried a food processor, but it is too coarse. I did see a lot of negative feedback on this coffee grinder, but still give it a try. I had seen comments of ununiform powder, but mine seems fine. I pulse it for 5s, and they all turn Fromm coarse to very fine powder! I am so pleased!

Large bowl, longer processing time.
This is a nice grinder. It has a larger bowl so I only have to make 1 grind to fill my large coffee press, which I like. It takes a bit more grinding to get the beans done, though. guess it’s a trade off! I do like it. I wish it came in different colors, as I use one for coffee and one for herbs. I would buy again, if it came with different colors. I have used this for over a year now, and I really don't understand all of the bad reviews! I didn't get it discounted for a good review, I bought it full price. One thing I 've noted is that often even just a few days after I purchase something, the price goes up: this time, by $7. in a year, a bit much in my opinion. ANYway, I still love this! It grinds well, and does enough beans when filled to do 1.5 pots of french press. I see now they only have it in WHITE, when I bought was only black, so I think I'll but it again, even if the price is almost $20....I feel it is worth it. Also, just FYI: I JUST dropped the lid, and even though it is in an area of my home that EVERYTHING breaks, it only chipped a small inconsequential piece of plastic that did nothing to hinder the smooth operation. I'm upping my starts to a 5*****

Fantastic product
I love this grinder. I use it to grind up flax seeds every week as well as spice blends. It's so small and light weight, I actually pick it up and shake it a bit while pulsing to make sure each seed goes through. This takes me just seconds to do. There's a max fill line right where you load the seeds, beans, etc. so you're not stuck second guessing how much you can fill without breaking it. You literally just take off the lid, fill, replace lid, and hold the pulse button for a few seconds. Easy. If anything happened to this grinder, I'd 100% buy it again. This has become a device that I use in my weekly meal prepping routine and I couldn't do without it now.

Fast and easy to use and clean.
I wld recommend this product to anyone. Elegsnt design, goes well with all my black appliances, easy to use with a one touch, plug it in and go. Easy to clean, low noise level and fast. The ribbed outside design helps to grab it better. You can grind coffee beans, nuts, pepper corns, nutmeg, mince garlic or anything else u want to grind. Have fun and here is to your health!

Sturdy and Effective... not to be used with Liquids
Great for grinding coffee... but do NOT add liquids to this. My sleepy, under-caffeinated self thought I could foam milk in this grinder (like one could foam milk in a small blender or food processor.) I was terribly mistaken. My kitchen counter filled with milk that quickly seeped through the center of the grinder and bolts. This device apparently cannot hold liquids. I’m still giving this product five stars, because it does an excellent job of grinding coffee beans (what it was intended to do) AND if you happen to either have a messy toddler or under-caffeinated and overworked adult in your household who tries to pour liquid into a coffee grinder at 6am... well, this product is sturdy enough to endure the damage and still function properly after drying.

Great for grinding flaxseeds
This grinder works great with flax seeds. I originally bought a manual grinder and it took 20 minutes to grind the flax seeds. It was more like shavings or flax seed debris. I then bought this electric grinder and it not only ground the flax seeds, but it turned it into a fine powder! It also took 10 seconds, not 20 minutes like the manual grinder. This grinder was a god send! I highly recommend it for grinding flaxseed.

Just the ticket
I ordered this coffee grinder after having ordered another but that ordered was cancelled. I wanted a simple to operate machine as I am not a heavy user but still, wanted a coffee mill for occasional use. This one fits the bill beautifully. It is easy to use, no loader than any other grinder I've ever heard, cleans easily and has a very small footprint on my counter. It arrived quickly and I am very well satisfied.

Very happy with this grinder
I'm very happy with this grinder. I already had one for coffee beans, but ordered this one for herbs, flax seeds, etc. (anything non-coffee bean). Great price, does a better, faster job with a larger capacity "pan" area than my other one. Thank you for this product. Would buy again, buy for gifts, etc.
